RU Cores

Everybody knows the common OU cores. SkarmBliss, FerroCent, GyaraVire- you get the point. There have been smog articles about them. But RU? No sign of those cores. So, post all your RU cores here. It can help both beginners and experts while team building.

Post both offensive and defensive cores, with 2-4(4 not so often) Pokemon that can do a certain job well. Defensive cores can several offensive threats, while offensive cores can combat walls. No core is perfect. Some will be weak to other cores or lose to one Pokemon (like Zekrom vs SkarmBliss).

Post a core that is effective in the current BW2 metagame. All cores will be collected in this top post, so look for all of them here. Put the Pokemon's sets and a brief description of what it does.

Sunny Day Cress+ SP Zard+ Entei

Cress with sunny day and lunar dance is amazing for support. Get Zard in for free, and very few pokes take two hits. CB Entei also destroys.

Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

- Sunny Day
- Lunar Dance

Entei @ Choice Band
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Flare Blitz
- Stone Edge
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- ExtremeSpeed

Charizard (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Solar Power
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

Check the mass damage calculators. Very few things are not 2HKO'd by zard with rocks and hopefully 2 spikes ( I also have accelgor on this team).

As much as I love to try out new cores, I'd like to know the reason as to why this core is effective. And why a physical Sceptile is using a Modest nature.

This isn't going anywhere and the OP is banned. Someone else can try to lead this if they want but these types of discussions can also go in the np thread or something.
