Hello everyone, welcome to the playoffs for the RU Generations tours! This playoffs consists of the top 16 scoring players from the SM, ORAS, and BW Cups. This tournament will give players a chance to compete against each other on a level playing field with the winner being one step closer to winning the coveted RU ribbon. Everyone has earned a certain number of circuit points for making it this far, and will gain more as they win more rounds.

Hello everyone, welcome to the playoffs for the RU Generations tours! This playoffs consists of the top 16 scoring players from the SM, ORAS, and BW Cups. This tournament will give players a chance to compete against each other on a level playing field with the winner being one step closer to winning the coveted RU ribbon. Everyone has earned a certain number of circuit points for making it this far, and will gain more as they win more rounds.
Tour Specific Rules:
- Playoffs are seeded.
- Saving and posting replays is mandatory, if replays aren't posted or aren't at least public then you won't get the win.
- You must be active in scheduling with your opponents. Use the VM Wall to contact your opponents. Be as specific as possible to make it easier on everyone if it comes down to an activity call.
- Games will be best-of-three. The first game will be SM, and second game will be BW or ORAS, with the loser picking between the two. If there's a game three, then the final tier will be played.
- Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown or the Smogon Tours server in the corresponding RU format.
- Saving replays is mandatory, in the case of a dispute you must be able to prove that you won your game.
- Sleep Clause: A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokémon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing Pokémon.
- Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same Pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
- Evasion Clause: A player cannot use the moves Double Team or Minimize in their Pokémon's movesets.
- OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
- Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
- Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any pokemon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play.
