Hitmonlee @ Life Orb
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- Rapid Spin
- Mach Punch

Hitmonlee is a great offensive partner for Fletchinder, because it can remove Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin and threaten rock- and steeltypes which resist Acrobatics. Reckless HJK helps in breaking down bulkier teams, which Fletchinder might have trouble with. In Return, Fletchinder can switch into fairies like Aromatisse or Togetic to set up or burn its checks on the switch. Actually pretty much any fighting type works well with Fletchinder, but Rapid Spin is what Hitmonlee has over the others. You still want to have something for buky waters and electrics however, Tangrowth works well with both.

Adamant Nature

- Mach Punch

Set's up on most of fletch's checks while luring in things like togetic/aromatisse/granbull, which are all setup fodder for fletchinder

Nominating Qwilfish:

Qwilfish @ Black Sludge
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Waterfall
- Thunder Wave

Qwilfish can switch in on the physical Fighting and Fire attacks that Steelix doesn't like to take (Lee, Emboar, etc.). Once in, it can set Spikes to form a nice hazard stacking core. It doubles down on a weakness to EQ, but this can be addressed by another team member.

Sigilyph @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Air Slash / Psychic
- Heat Wave
- Roost

Sigilyph makes a cool partner for mega steelix since it can beat many of the fighting types that give the giant metal snake trouble like hitmonlee, gurdurr, virizion and others; helps a lot with beating bulky grasses like tangrowth and amoonguss and using opposing bulky waters like alomomola, jellicent and seismitoad as setup bait while it appreciate mega steelix luring them out with toxic and appreciates sigilyph absorbing status that mega steelix hate.

The giant mega steelix in return help sigilyph beating mons like mega glalie, sneasel, fast electric types like jolteon and meloetta (no focus blast variants) which are really problematic for sigilyph. All in all, a great combo.

Mantine @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 204 Def / 56 Spe
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Defog
- Air Slash
- Toxic / Haze

Mantine's pretty cool with Mega Steelix. It either resists or is immune to all of Mega Steelix's weaknesses (which is especially nice for Scald) and vice versa, though Freeze-Dry is an exception since Mega Steelix is only neutral to it. The are a few common threats to this core, such as Emboar, Eelektross, the more rare Gastrodon, and Bronzong which can Toxic stall Mantine and outpaces Mega Steelix in damage. Other than those few threats, these two work really well together. Mantine checks Mega Camerupt, opposing Mega Steelix, and Poliwrath. Mega Steelix in turn checks Jolteon, Mega Glalie, and Tyrantrum.
