(RU) Peaked at rank 8

Hello everyone, im forever aIone, and im fairly new to the metagame, and thats why i really hope to get some help with my team

The team

Rhyperior@leftovers
Ability: Solid rock
EVs:252 hp/4 attack/252 defense
Nature: Impish
- Stealth rock
- Stone edge
- Earthquake
- Ice punch(?)

Rhyperior is my physical tank and is in the lead spot(though depends entirely on the enemies team setup) It got an easy time to swap in on most physical attackers and fire back hard with its monstrous attack stat. I am abit unsure on the ice punch its rarely used though can hit common grass switch in super effectively if i predict right.

Alakazam@choise scarf
Ability: Synchronise
EVs: 4 hp/252 special attack/252 speed
Nature: Timid
- Shadow ball
- Focus blast
- Hidden power(fire)
- Psychic

Scarf zam is my suprise element and revenge killer, most people think he is a standard CM/Sub one, being able to outspeed and kill pokemon who think they will outspeed him. Focus blasts shaky accuracy can and has allready lost me several games(missing on sharpedo then getting 0ko'd by crunch).

yanmega.png

Yanmega@choice speccs
ability: Tinted lens
EVs: 4 hp/252 special attack/252 speed
Nature: Modest
- Giga Drain
- Hidden power(ground)(?)
- Bug Buzz
- Air slash

Wallbreaker and powerhouse, very few pokemon can switch into him without being 2KO'd by the choice specc bug buzz's. I've put ? mark behind HP ground as i really rarely got a use for it(only been used on drapion and its fairly rarely seen).

Altaria@leftovers
Ability: Natural cure
EVs: 252 hp/4 defense/252 special defense
Nature: Impish
- Toxic
- Heal bell
- Roost
- Dragon claw

Special wall and supporter, spreading toxic, and removing statuses. He can easily outstall any walls with this set, blastoise/quagsire/gastrodon cant 0KO with ice beam and i can roost of the dmg with only being 2x weak to ice beam after the roost. Roar might be an option over dragon claw as a second phazer, as blastoise is a pokemon that is important to keep alive and got no reliable recovery move and my team is really weak to stealth rocks. Also being status absorber from the quiver dancers, switch back to zam and oneshot the common venomoth

Blastoise@leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 hp/4 defense/252 special attack
Nature: Bold
- Roar
- Rapid spin
- Surf
- Ice beam(?)

Phazer and spinner, i run surf over scald in the fear of burning things i would prefer toxic'd. Questionmark behind ice beam, its not often i get use for it as its RU and not OU where its dragons everwhere. Though i got no idea what to use other than ice beam and it is usefull on hitting grass switch ins. Its my most solid check to DD'ing crawdaunts though it can only take 1 hit so maybe a more defensive EV spread?

entei.png

Entei@choice band
Ability: pressure
EVs: 4 hp/252 attack/252 speed
Nature: Adamant
- Extremespeed
- Flare blitz
- Iron head(?)
- Stone edge

Revengekiller and late game sweeper. It often cleans up games where i've gotten the enemy team low. Iron head with a ? behind as i've litteraly used it once when i knew a rhydon was going to be switched in, but in every case iron head might be usefull its a physical wall(any better options in the moveslot?)

Threat List so far:

Audino: Yanmega's bug buzz wont do more than 46-48% and it can easily protect/wish stall while toxic wears yanmega off.

Ludicolo: In the rain i got no safe switch in on it, it usually runs life orb so i am able to wear it off by swapping smart around on its energy ball/ice beam/ surf, but at a point he will outpredict me and something will die, though i can get entei/alakazam safely in and should be able to kill it off at that point.

Moltres: If it runs the toxic/sub/roost/Filler attack, It can toxic and roost of most of my pokemon and my altaria cant toxic it as it got a faster sub than me.

Porygon Z: Scarf or nasty plot set, i got no pokemons that can 0KO it and a pokemon will be sacrificed in the process of wearing it down.

Those are the most common threats for me currently.

Thanks in advance :)

I remember beating this team, although scarf zam took me by surprise, anyways I suggest Megahorn/Roar on rhyperior, Trick over HP fire on Zam, and IDK about altaria I think other walls can do her job better like audino or lickilicky maybe?

Trick is a great idea, also going to try megahorn on rhyperior :)

Hey Forever aLone I remember facing this team while I was laddering (My name was Fresh Start). Anyways you seemed to have trouble with my Blastoise and Ferroseed combo because the best thing you could do to ferro was Flare Blitz which Blastoise takes for days. Anyways, I would reccomend a Specs Manectric over Yanmega.
manectric.png

Manectric@Choice Specs
Ability: Lightningrod
Nature: Timid
Ev's: 252Spe 252 Sp.Attk 4HP
Moves:
~Thunderbolt
~Overheat
~Hidden Power Grass/Ice
~Switcheroo

This set will allow you to beat that defensive core which has actually become pretty popular in my experiences. Anyways TBolt for STAB and whatnot. Overheat for frying ferroseed and other grasses. HP Grass for Gastro and Quagsire. Switcheroo for screwing over something. Good Luck with your team. Hope I helped.

Hello! I played against you at some point under a different alt and got completely owned as far as I'm aware... mostly because my team's overtly physical and had trouble getting past your Rhyperior. I can't really point out any flaws with your team from my experience, but if anything I'd recommend U-Turn on Specs Yanmega since realistically you aren't going to use HP Ground very often, and U-Turn can be useful for scouting (provided Stealth Rock isn't up)

Hidden Power Grass over Iron Head on Entei could also be useful, since it naturally hits checks like Rhyperior and Gastrodon harder.

I will give manectric a shot, as ferroseed is a really common pokemon in the RU metagame and commonly paired with pokemon as blastoise/quagsire/gastrodon.

U-Turn on yanmega sounds like a great idea and will swap HP ground out immediatly. HP grass did a suprising amount of dmg after checking dmg calcs on most common switch ins on my Entei, so definitly picking that up :)

Thanks alot ^^
