RU Uber Moves: SM Edition!
"What if Yanmega got Quiver Dance?"
Hello and welcome to the first iteration of RU Uber moves! This tournament is essentially the same version of UUber moves. As a refresher, UUber moves is a single elimination tournament where every mon on the UU viability rankings has been given a single move to make it "broken" or at the very least much better. This version will feature mons on the RU Viability Rankings list instead. The point of the tour is to have fun with new and creative sets and to make some cool teams, so have at it!
Certain obvious moves are not given to mons on account of them being too much even in this format.
Specific Rules
- The tournament will be single elimination.
- Players will play a best of one series each round.
- Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown!
- Only the listed move additions are allowed; everything else on your team must be legal by the current SM RarelyUsed tier rules.
- Posting replays is absolutely mandatory, otherwise I will coinflip.
- You MUST send in your team to (someone designated) before hand, if you're caught cheating you will be RU tour banned. You can send (someone designated) the paste or use https://cryptobin.co/ if you dont trust (someone designated).
- Sleep Clause: A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokémon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing Pokémon.
- Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same Pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
- Evasion Clause: A player cannot use the moves Double Team or Minimize in their Pokémon's movesets.
- OHKO Clause: Players cannot use Horn Drill, Guillotine, Sheer Cold, or Fissure in any of their Pokémon's movesets.
- Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, he/she loses.
- Endless Battle Clause: Any moveset on any pokemon that is capable of intentionally causing an endless battle is banned from competitive play.
