WELCOME TO THE SECOND EDITION OF THE RARELYUSED CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
The RUCL is an auction-based format consisting of 8 teams playing head-to-head for 7 weeks, the top 4 then moves on to a single elimination bracket. Therefore, we are looking for 8 pairs of managers. The prize for winning this tournament is a team custom avatar.

There will be 10 slots in this tournament:
  • SV1
  • SV2
  • SV3
  • SV4
  • Flex 1A
  • Flex 2A
  • Flex 3A
  • Flex 1B
  • Flex 2B
  • Flex 3B
The way flex slots work is: every week, each team will be able to pick 3 different tiers for their flex picks, ranging from SS to ADV, for a total of 6 tiers picked between Team A and Team B. Tiers can be repeated between teams, but they can't be repeated between the same team. For instance, Team A can pick SM ORAS ADV, and Team B can pick SS BW ADV; however, Team A can't pick SS SS SM. If you have any question on the format, feel free to contact me or any other host. If you are considering signing up to manage in this tournament, please be sure to have a wide availability range during the auction weekend (October 31st / November 1st)!

Manager name: Sulfura28
Assistant manager: SouCarlos

Why should we be chosen to manage: I've been maining RU for 2.5 years. I Personally, I’ve managed to make the top 32 twice, once in the Winter Seasonal this year and once in the RU Cup also this year. This might be my first time as a captain on Smogon if we get picked here, but there’s a first time for everything ! I only have one experience as a captain for a Discord tournament. I encourage my players, I’m always really involved with the team, and I do the scouting. As for my co-manager SouCarlos, he managed to reach the RUGL finals as a captain this year. He was also a captain in Dynasty PL and SS League II. He is nice with the players as well and do the best for the team

Manager name: Long Spirit
Assistant manager: Ngolatria
Team name: Lilligant Pictures :lilligant:
Why should we be chosen to manage: Both of us have managed several tournaments for our language room and served as captains in RUWC. This year, both of us reached major team tournament finals, Ngolatria made finals in PMPL, while I made finals in MonoPL (also managing BSSCL POFfs and PTSL) . We have deep knowledge of the tier and its player base, and we are fully confident in our ability to create a great team while helping our players
