Tournament RUGL II Format Discussion

people still turn up to play, having a lack of hosts doesn't mean there aren't players. also i didn't host lgpl which was the debut of this format and was a successful tournament. feels a bit unfair to value lgpe ru as a tier on whether lgpe has tournament hosts

Again the point wasn't to belittle LGPE but to highlight hypocrisy. Diego's post is fairly convincing with cg mainers like Goldcat liking the tier, as is Nanchlax's post. Both probably can be given a shot at some point if not now. I don't wanna really fight other fun tiers for a spot tbh but there's not really a choice here unfortunately. I think if any fun tier gets in it's better than just another SV RU.

Although I find the idea of having a 'fun' tier interesting and welcome (especially choosing NDRU for the possibility of not being a very small pool compared to the others, in addition to being a good tier), I think it would be better to stick with 10 slots, 5 SV. Mainly to give beginners and those who don't know much or anything about RU in general a chance to get to know it more deeply and be able to keep up.

Do you not think that 4 tiers are already enough for that porpouse, considering we will have a lot of newer players already getting a opportunity, due to this tour running together with rupl?

I just realized. Apparently, we have only 7 manager pairings that signed up for the tour. Does that impact the format decision in any way? Like, having 6 teams instead of 8?
