Deranged Hustlers (6) vs (4) Toxic Chains
SV: Xrn vs
xavgb - stresh is pretty impossible to bold against really. his team choices have been great despite some of them maybe looking a bit odd, and i haven't been a huge fan of the hustlers's sv brings so far. i assume xrn is very reliant on his support for teams, and despite him being a very good player himself, i don't see really stresh losing this
SV:
Lime vs Ampha - underwhelming vs mid record, and both are on a losing streak. however i trust in lime to be able to break out of it more, as he's still the better player. i also haven't been a fan of the non-stresh sv brings from the toxic chains, but well i can't say i've been loving the hustlers's teams either idk. most definitely a closer mu now than if it happened week 1

Slikkles vs tko - motivated and enthusiastic 1-0 mainer vs most likely demotivated 1-3 tour player. i can see tko bouncing back here but i doubt he cares enough to
SV: Ming549 vs
toinha - i feel like i don't know enough about either to say much here, but ming has been bringing slightly overcooked teams (why was there a cb pert..?) and playing a bit off. toinha on the other hand won last week
SS: Danny vs
C0nfiden1 0yster - the oyster has been doing well, and i rate his building and he's been able to consistently get good mus. i think this gives you in an edge in an oldgen like this one where people mostly tend to overuse. his play has also been decent/good, while his opponent has struggled a bit so far
SM:
Gondra vs xXcrossbowXx - better player i think, idk much about this gen but crossbow's teams have looked weak to random stuff. however he for sure cares more so i wouldn't be surprised if he walked away with a win
ORAS:
Piyu vs Windsong - piyu is great and i don't know who windsong is sorry. also i have to root for piyu cuz he was an integral part of 2024 guardians :)
BW:
Guille vs Baddy - i think baddy's been good but guille is a more proven entity in this tier, and it's pretty difficult to bold against him
ADV: LpZ vs
SEA - i don't keep up with this tier but i think lpz's 1-3 while sea is positive so i will trust what i remember. not checking the sheet
Bo3:
Thiago Nunes vs avarice - both have been having bad tours, but tnunes has been getting the short end of the stick for a couple of weeks now luck-wise i think..? dillon got a good win vs lighthouses and is definitely good, but i rate tnunes a bit higher. he's also the manager and this is almost a must win week for the hustlers
Pressure Cookers (2) vs (8) Party-Crashing Pranksters
SV:
feen vs passion - feen's 3-1 and has looked pretty sharp, meanwhile passion is 1-2 and lost to lbn clicking sucker punch vs a horoark disguised as a gapdos. i feel like that's pretty hard to come back from. the pranksters's sv has been excellent though, and i've liked their teams more. generally i'd also rank passion higher as a player, so this will definitely be a fun watch
SV: Kate vs
Floss - kate's been doing well, but so has floss. i'm repeating myself but i've been a big fan of the pranksters's sv, and i think they're on top of the metagame
SV: FlamPoke vs
3d - flampoke's teams have been pretty odd looking at times, while none of his wins have been particularly impressive (zs throwing vs him, for example). on the other hand, 3d's 4-0 and shows no sign of slowing down
SV: entrocefalo vs
Ajna - more proven player, especially in ru, even if his team last week looked a bit off . he's gotten the hang of the tier now though, so there aren't many people i'd bold over him
SS:
sol vs dunoks - i haven't been keeping up with ss much so idk how dunoks is doing. i know sol hasn't been having the best tour but i think this is the week for him to bounce back, especially with the cookers finally getting some points in
SM: Clem vs
sensei axew - better player, and probably? more experience in the tier so i don't think there's a reason to bold against him
ORAS: shiloh vs
Chaitanya - girl idk it's oras. i think chait's better at this tier though
BW: FastCarVroom!!! vs
Finchinator - isn't finch like 4-0 now..? idk. fastcarvroom got a pretty impressive win vs guille last week but it's not quite enough to make me bold him over finch

Amity - my teammate lost to her week 1 so i have to bold her
Bo3: Lily vs
Feliburn - lily finally got a win last week with the help of a misclick from her opponent, and feli's 2 losses have been to the best 2 players in this pool so it feels silly to hold those against him

SV: LBN vs
hjkhj - both 3-1, and just going with the more proven one. lbn builds and plays in a very annoying way, like i'd really hate to face him, but i think hjkhj's experienced enough to not fall for anything stupid. however i have to give lbn props for clicking sucker punch vs a gapdos
SV: MachJacob vs
THE_CHUNGLER - yes machjacob is 2-2, and chungler is 0-4, but in all fairness this is chungler's first sv game this tour. after last week i'm also not too keen on bolding machjacob but i hope he proves me otherwise

The Strap vs BluBirD - blubird hasn't been doing very well i think, so it's hard to bold for him
when he's playing a very consistent player

odr - odr's 1-3 but he's still odr. he has considerably more experience than his opponent in the tier i think

ninjadog vs Yay - ninjadog seems to be out of his unfortunate early season slump, but i think this should be a close one as yay is on a winning streak

lighthouses - pdt hasn't been having the best season, while lighthouses is 2-1 and has been bringing what i think are better teams. his team is out though, while the synthesizers are still in but barely, so that might affect both players's motivation
