Format:
Each team got eight starters. Games will be played in SV RU, SS RU, SM RU, ORAS RU, BW RU, and ADV RU.
For the first round, each starter will be placed into a single round-robin pool of 4 players. These groups have been made randomly, so that each team will play all other team at least once, and never more than twice.
Six points will be awarded for first place, four for second place, and two for third place in a division. If there is a tie for any position, the total number of points between those two positions will be split equally among the tied parties. For example, if two people are tied for first place, they will split ten (six for first + four for second) points between them for a total of five points each.
Though, the ranking will be based on team records. The eight teams with the best records will qualify for the quarterfinals. Points will only count for seeding within the top 8. If there is a tie in records for last spot(s), then points will not solve the tie, and a 3 games-tiebreak will take place. One of these games will be a SV RU one, and each team will choose the format of their choice for the two other games.
Substitution:
Each team got three to four substitutes. A starter can be subbed out by a substitute of their team, however this starter can't be subbed back until the end of the round. They can start again for the playoffs in case their team qualified.
Substitutions will be not be allowed in tiebreak series unless both teams agree (or TDs enforce double sub). We will be reluctant to give activity wins to those who are clearly fishing for them.
Deadlines:
All games will have to be completed by Sunday September 8th 2024 at 11:00PM GMT-6. Games that are not done before this deadline will be reviewed for activity and have a winner declared accordingly. If both players are at fault, the game will be declared a deadgame and will not count in deciding final standing. As I'm hosting and playing at the same time, these decisions will be led by Kableye.
In order to prevent inactivity, if by Sunday September 1st 2024 at 11:00PM GMT-6 a starter has not completed a single game, then we will force their captain to sub them out. You have much time to play your games, don't stack them all in the last week before the deadline.
