Sableye stands out as a good physical wall in the tier thanks to its amazing ability in Prankster and defensive typing, giving it great matchups into the tier's Fighting-, Normal-, and Psychic-type attackers like Hisuian Sneasel, Medicham, Tauros, Paldean Tauros, and Bruxish, immediately threatening them with a burn from Will-O-Wisp. Sableye also blanket checks many setup sweepers in the tier as well, such as Dudunsparce, Ursaring, Coil Sandaconda, and Coil Eelektross, with Encore. Knock Off allows Sableye to punish Pokemon that may rely on their items for their bulk or longevity on a switch such as Hisuian Qwilfish, Eelektross, Ursaring, and Bombirdier. Foul Play is a reliable source of damage against physical setup sweepers, such as Scyther and Bruxish, over options such as Knock Off or Will-O-Wisp. Tera Poison gives Sableye an immunity to toxic and a resistance to Fairy while retaining its positive matchup into Fighting-types. Tera Steel has a similar function but instead retains Sableye's favorable matchup into Psychic-types while giving it some additional resistances to common attacking types such as Ice from Pokemon like Abomasnow. Tera Dark is notable for letting Sableye OHKO Pokemon such as Rotom and Bruxish with Knock Off while providing Sableye with a Ghost resistance.

Sableye struggles with the tier's myriad of Dark-types such as Cacturne and Bombirdier, which all ignore Prankster, while Tera Dark users, such as Toxicroak, Hisuian Sneasel, and Bruxish can also Terastallize to completely ignore Sableye and use it as setup fodder. To help alleviate this issue, Pokemon like Hisuian Qwilfish, Carbink, Articuno, and Appletun can all help answer these threats. In addition, Sableye is fairly passive in nature with horrible special bulk, which means it can invite special wallbreakers, such as Clawitzer and Glaceon, in to break. Pairing Sableye with special walls such as Blissey, Eelektross, and Muk can help Sableye make up for these faults.

Sableye stands out as a great physical wall in the tier thanks to its great ability in Prankster and defensive typing giving it great matchups into the tiers Fighting, Normal, and Psychic-type attackers like Hisuian Sneasel, Medicham, Tauros, Paldean Tauros, and Bruxish, immediately threatening them with a burn from Will-O-Wisp. Knock Off allows Sableye to punish Pokemon who may rely on their items for their bulk or longevity on a switch, such as Hisuian Qwilfish, Eelektross, Ursaring, and Bombirdier. foul play is an alternative to both wisp and knock for general use against the physical setup mons, double dark moves is fine as is wisp + fplay but you dont have to go too in depth Recover gives Sableye reliable recovery, and thanks to Prankster, it is able to recover its health before the opposing Pokemon attacks it. Tera Poison gives Sableye a toxic immunity and a resistance to Fairy-type moves while retaining its positive matchup into Fighting-types. Tera Steel has similar function, but instead retains Sableyes favorable matchup into Psychic-types while giving it some additional resistances to common attacking types, such as Ice from Pokemon like Abomasnow. tera dark lets you ohko brux and rotom w/ knock off, also makes you resist ghost

Sableye struggles with the tier's myriad of Dark-types such as Mabosstiff who the fuck is this guy skull.jpg, Cacturne and Grimmsnarl, who which all ignore Prankster, while Tera Dark users, such as Toxicroak can add brux and heasel here too, can also use Tera to either completely ignore Sableye and use it as setup fodder. To help alleviate this issue, pairing Sableye with Fighting-types, such as Hisuian Sneasel and Paldean Tauros, can help offensively pressure these Dark-types. imo with sab it's better to clarify defensive partners here instead. you talk in the overview about all the mons sableye can check, so the teammates section should be focusing on patching up those weaknesses In addition, Sableye is fairly passive in nature with horrible special bulk, which means it can invite special wallbreakers, such as Clawitizer and Glaceon in to break. Pairing Sableye with specially defensive walls such as Blissey, Eelektross, and Muk can help Sableye make up for these faults.

Sableye stands out as a great physical wall in the tier thanks to its great ability in Prankster and defensive typing, (ac) giving it great you mention great 3x in the first half of this sentence, so maybe consider another adjective; it's grammatically correct but repetitive matchups into the tiers tier's Fighting-, Normal-, and Psychic-type attackers like Hisuian Sneasel, Medicham, Tauros, Paldean Tauros, and Bruxish, immediately threatening them with a burn from Will-O-Wisp. Sableye also blanket checks many setup sweepers in the tier as well, (ac) such as Dudunsparce, Ursaring, Coil Sandaconda, and Coil Eelektross, (ac) with Encore. Knock Off allows Sableye to punish Pokemon who that may rely on their items for their bulk or longevity on a switch (rc) such as Hisuian Qwilfish, Eelektross, Ursaring, and Bombirdier. Foul Play is a reliable source of damage against physical setup sweepers, (ac) such as Scyther and Bruxish, (ac) over options such as Knock Off or Will-O-Wisp. Tera Poison gives Sableye a toxic immunity an immunity to Toxic and a resistance to Fairy-type moves while retaining its positive matchup into Fighting-types. Tera Steel has a similar function (rc) but instead retains Sableye's favorable matchup into Psychic-types while giving it some additional resistances to common attacking types (rc) such as Ice from Pokemon like Abomasnow. Tera Dark is notable for letting Sableye OHKO Pokemon such as Rotom and Bruxish with Knock Off while providing Sableye with a Ghost resistance.

Sableye struggles with the tier's myriad of Dark-types such as Cacturne and Bombirdier, which all ignore Prankster, while Tera Dark users, such as Toxicroak, Hisuian Sneasel, and Bruxish can also use Tera Terastallize to either completely ignore Sableye and use it as setup fodder if you want to keep "either" use "either completely ignore Sableye or use it as setup fodder" & you can tack on "or both" to the end if applicable. To help alleviate this issue, Pokemon like Hisuian Qwilfish, Carbink, Articuno, and Appletun can all help answer these threats. In addition, Sableye is fairly passive in nature with horrible special bulk, which means it can invite special wallbreakers, such as Clawitzer and Glaceon, (ac) in to break. Pairing Sableye with special walls such as Blissey, Eelektross, and Muk can help Sableye make up for these faults.
