Salamence @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Dual Wingbeat
- Fire Blast / Earthquake

Salamence is a strong setup sweeper in UU with Dragon Dance and Moxie. Dragon Dance lets Salamence plow through teams, as it can outspeed common Choice Scarf users such as Krookodile after a boost, while Moxie allows it to snowball. Outrage is a solid STAB move to muscle through Pokemon like the Rotom formes, and Dual Wingbeat does decent damage without locking it into one move. Dual Wingbeat can also safely beat Focus Sash Counter Alakazam. Fire Blast gives Salamence the coverage for Scizor, Skarmory, and Celesteela. Earthquake is another option to do more damage to Pokemon such as Nidoqueen, Magnezone, and Jirachi. Earthquake is easier to justify when running Magnezone for trapping the aforementioned Steel-types, making it one of Salamence's best partners. Salamence is also vulnerable to priority from Pokemon such as Mamoswine and Lycanroc-D. Scizor can beat both of them with Bullet Punch and can get Salamence in on Pokemon like Slowking via U-turn to set up with Dragon Dance. Salamence also appreciates Spikes and dual screens support from Pokemon such as Mew and Grimmsnarl, respectively, better enabling it to pull off a sweep. Entry hazards from Nidoqueen or Krookodile get Pokemon like Amoonguss and Tangrowth in range of a boosted Dual Wingbeat.

Salamence is a strong set-up sweeper in UU with Dragon Dance and Moxie. Dragon Dance lets Salamence plow through teams as it can outspeed common choice scarf capitalize item users such as Krookodile after a boost while Moxie allows it to snowball. Outrage is a solid STAB, This line on Outrage is way too vague, mention it lets it break through foes like Rotom-W and Rotom-H and Dual Wingbeat does decent damage without being choice-locked. Dual Wingbeat can also safely beat Focus Sash Counter Alakazam. Fire Blast gives Salamence the coverage for Skarmory and Celesteela. Mention Scizor Earthquake is another option to do more damage to pPokemon such as Nidoqueen, Magnezone, and Jirachi. Earthquake is easier to justify when running Magnezone with Salamence for trapping the aforementioned Steel-types, making it one of Salamence's best partners. Salamence is also vulnerable to priority from pPokemon such as Mamoswine and Lycanroc-D. Scizor can beat both of them with Bullet Punch and can get Salamence in on pPokemon like Victini or Slowking via U-turn to set up a Dragon Dance. Add something along these lines to make it clearer. Salamence also appreciates Spikes or Screens support from Pokemon such as Mew or Grimmsnarl better enabling it to pull off a sweep. If you're not over the character limit then find some examples of foes that are brought into range after a layer or two of Spikes. Ideally ones that mean it doesn't have to lock into Outrage to KO. Other set-up sweepers such as Gyarados and Azumarill can wear down their common checks like Amoonguss and Tangrowth. Zeraora and Lycanroc-D can pressure pokemon that can check Salamence before a Dragon Dance like Terrakion or Nihilego. For a spotlight, there are way too many partners being listed here. You've mentioned 8 in total so just axe these last few
