Same Old Song And Dance(OU)

So I've been playing competitive for roughly 7 months or so and I realized that I hadn't made a Sandstorm team yet. So I threw one together quickly and started testing. After alittle trial and error I made a great team which currently has a record of 27-3. This being the most successful team I have made, I though I would post it on here and see if there is anything that could be done to improve the winning rate. So here it is, Same Old Song and Dance.

Breakdown

Hippowdon @Leftovers (Hippwndon)
Impish Nature
252 HP / 168 Def / 88 SpDef
-Stealth Rock
-Slack Off
-Earthquake
-Roar

Classic Hippowdon lead. Main purpose is just to set up Stealth Rock and haze opponents allowing me to see their team while doing small bits of damage. Slack Off is great for recovery so I can Roar longer and take more hits making Hippowdon very durbale lead. Earthquake is for the occausion that something I know I can OHKO comes in. Taunt Leads cause problems with this set so I usually switch over to Scizor who can usually land a super effective hit or force a switch.

Tyranitar @Leftovers (Cursetar)
Rash Nature
252 HP / 52 Atk / 176 SpAtk / 28 Spe
-Sub
-Focus Punch
-Ice Beam
-Flamethrower

My take on TyraniBOAH. I never understood why use a -Spe nature and give Spe EVs so I decided to switch to Rash nature instead. The HP EVs allow me to make 101 HP Subs which can be very useful. Focus Punch is in for switchs and to help take out Blissey who would other wise wall this set horribly. Ice Beam has proven to be very effective dealing with dragon and ground types amazing. Instead of the Crunch or Dark Pulse, I decided to put in Flamethrower to deal with Scizor who might switch in on this set and be able to hit for a OHKO. Since Fighting, Steel, and Bug this Pokemon a horrible time, I believe the next Pokemon was a great match for him.

Gliscor @Leftovers (Dracula)
Jolly Nature Sand Veil
252 Hp / 40 Atk / 216 Spe
-Sub
-Sword Dance
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge

Before you ask, I decided to leave Roost off of this set for the fact that this more built to sweep then wall. Gliscor can usually scare off an enemy allowing me to Sub. Before the Sub is broken(which can sometimes take a hit or two) I can Sword Dance to get the +2 attack and start the sweeping. With Sand Veil, I can continue to sub until they miss allowing me to up my attack alot more. After a Sword Dance or two, the sweeping potiential of this Pokemon goes sky high. EQ and SE allow for great coverage and the High Crit ratio on SE gives me an even better use for it.

Heatran @Choice Scarf (TramRam)
Timid Nature
252 SpAtk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
-Fire Blast
-Earth Power
-Dragon Pulse
-Explosion

Heatran is just one of thoughs pokemon that everyone team has to watch for being of the strength that it carries. With a Speed of over 400 and a SpAtk of 359, Heatran can deal a great load of damage to an opponent if they do not have a decent counter. An immunity to fire that can make Fire Blast's power go even higher is amazing. Fire Blast is a base of 120 plus STAB and can be boosted even higher by Flash Fire is going to do decent damage to anything that isn't Water, Snorlax or Blissey. Earth Power gives good coverage and can be great for opposing Heatran. Dragon Pulse is for the ones who think bring in Salamence is going to be great since it resist Fire Blast and is immune to Earth Power. Explosion is to seal the deal or to take out Special Walls.

Scizor @ Choice Band (Blood Bath)
Adamant Nature Technician
200 HP / 56 Atk / 252 SpDef
-Bullet Punch
-SuperPower
-U-Turn
-Pursuit

About the EVs, I am running the Uber CB set of Scizor because it can take more of a beating and since most Fire attacks used are Special, Scizor can take them very well along with other boosted Special attacks. Other than the EVs it is the basic CB Scizor. Bullet Punch for priorty, STAB, and a boost off of its ability. SuperPower is for damage and to take care of the pesky ScarfZone that this pokemon fears. U-Turn is STAB and great for scouting while Pursuit can trap in Psychic or Ghost types. With a 4x weakness to Fire, it makes alot of since to be partnered with 2 Pokemon that resist it and one that is immune.

Latias @Choice Scarf (FlyAYDE)
Timid Nature
252 SpAtk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe
-Draco Meteor
-Surf
-Thunderbolt
-Trick

At first I didn't know what to put in this spot but soon realized that I had no way to stop Gyarados. ScarfLatias can outspeed Gyarados even after one Dragon Dance and OHKO with Tbolt. Draco Meteor is mainly for damage, giving anything that isn't resisting or SpDef EVed heavily a problem. Surf can take on ground types that like to come in on Latias for time to time. Trick is mainly to cripple walls that come in.

Well. Thats it. Please help me out some?

1 minor thing, Naive over Timid on Heatran. That lets his Expolsion hit as hard as possible. I would rate more, but for some reason I get a 500 Error whenever I try to quote your team.

You're terribly weak to water type attacks, such as from starmie. The -speed on ttar is to not taknig away from it's nice defenses, so I'd stick with the brave or w/e nature, you're already outspeeding everything you need to, mainly blissey. To fix the water weak, i'd just go with something like suicune or starmie over heatran. You already have the bets luke check in the game with gliscor and I don't see what heatran is doing for this team.

Sandstorm teams often prefer Toxic Spikes.
Also a sub-petaya Empoleon is almost unbeatable in SS.
May I also suggest a defensive Zapdos for your fighting weakness.

Zapdos @ Leftovers/ Bold/ Pressure
248 HP, 228Def, 32Spe

- Thunderbolt
- Heatwave
- Roost
- HP (Grass), Toxic, Substitute, Roar
