[OVERVIEW]
Hisuian Samurott is one of the most prolific hazard setters in the tier with its signature move, Ceaseless Edge, letting it both set spikes and deal heavy damage thanks to its Sharpness ability. Hisuian Samurott also provides immense offensive pressure, as its able to threaten hazard removers like Great Tusk, Iron Treads, and Cinderace with strong Water-type damage, making the spikes it sets much harder to remove. In addition, Hisuian Samurott has a immense utility movepool such as Knock Off, Encore, Taunt, and priority with either Sucker Punch or Aqua Jet. its typing also lets it naturally check Gholdengo, Galarian Slowking, and Heatran, granting it an easier time finding entry to stack spikes. Hisuian Samurott also has immense customizability through its items; Assault Vest grants it the defensive prowess to stand up to special attackers like Gholdengo, Darkrai, and Choice Specs Dragapult, while Choice Scarf patches its somewhat subpar speed to outspeed opponents like Dragapult and Cinderace. Heavy-Duty Boots give it immunity to hazard damage, especially useful in Hisuian Samurott mirrors where multiple layers of spikes are set on both sides. Focus Sash makes it an amazing lead on hyper offense with its solid matchup against hazard leads like Deoxys-S and Glimmora. Black Glasses alongside Swords Dance and Tera Dark makes Hisuian Samurott incredibly difficult to wall, while also being hard to revenge kill due to Sucker Punch. Hisuian Samurott, however, struggles with an average speed tier and frailty without heavy investment, while also struggling to handle certain hazard removers like Corviknight and especially Galarian Weezing. While its direct matchup into Hisuian Samurott is poor, Cinderace can still dissuade setting hazards via Court Change and forces Hisuian Samurott to play more carefully. Moreover, Hisuian Samurott can be punished heavily by Fighting- and Fairy- types like Zamazenta, Iron Valiant, and Primarina, which can all switch in with minimal risk and threaten it.

Other Options
=============
On teams that require more of its breaking power, Hisuian Samurott can afford to run the Choice Band to increase the power of Ceaseless Edge to be able to 2HKO Raging Bolt with Ceaseless Edge and an immediate OHKO on Great Tusk with Razor Shell, as well as an OHKO on uninvested Gholdengo with Sucker Punch. Lum Berry can be used on Swords Dance sets to get rid of certain status like Moltres' Will-o-wisp and Malignant Chain from Pecharunt. Black Glasses sets can forgo Swords Dance in exchange for another attack, which with Tera Dark as well makes it incredibly hard for checks like Alomomola, Corviknight, and Dondozo to handle long term with Knock Off, while also keeping Sucker Punch as priority. Mystic Water can be used on Swords Dance sets alongside Aqua Jet, which at +2 can outright OHKO faster opponents like Cinderace with Aqua Jet. Mixed attacking sets with Surf or Hydro Pump can be used to both bypass Glimmora's Toxic Debris and hit Great Tusk and Galarian Weezing harder. Tera Ground can be used to match up better into Electric-types like Raging Bolt and Zapdos while blocking Volt Switch's from Iron Crown.

Not much to add, but would like to revisit the second paragraph, particularly after more info is given on Helmet and Amulet. Please let me know once it is implemented and I can give it another look

Hisuian Samurott, however, struggles with an average speed tier and frailty without heavy investment, while also struggling to handle certain hazard removers like Corviknight and especially Galarian Weezing. Thus, special attackers like Gholdengo and Choice Specs Dragapult are recommended to threaten these hazard removers while also having the additional benefit of blocking Rapid Spin from Great Tusk and Iron Treads. I do not think Overview is a good place to mention this but I digress. Instead you could use this space to focus on other checks, mainly Zamazenta and Iron Valiant

Other Options
=============
On teams that require more of its breaking power, Hisuian Samurott can afford to run the Choice Band to increase the power of Ceaseless Edge to be able to 2HKO Raging Bolt. Rocky Helmet can also be used, as it can use its defensive typing to check Kingambit and punish Rapid Spin attempts. These sets commonly use Swords Dance to still be able to offer breaking power against defensive opponents like Corviknight and Ting-lu. Do you have any documented instances of this? Sacred Sword can be used on Hisuian Samurott as a way to hit Kingambit, Darkrai, and opposing Hisuian Samurott effectively. Already listed in a few analyses Lum Berry or Clear Amulet can be used on Swords Dance sets to get rid of certain status like Moltres' Will-o-wisp or ignore Landorus-T's Intimidate and Pecharunt's Parting Shot respectively. Any documented instances?

- A more straightforward mention would be Mystic Water on Swords Dance sets, as it for example gives you the boost necessary to OHKO Cinderace after a Swords Dance with Aqua Jet.
- 4 attacks sets, similar to variants of Heavy-Duty Boots, can opt for Black Glasses, as well as priority moves which the current HDB set on-site lacks, as with Black Glasses and / or Tera Dark you can further pressure the likes of Corviknight, Dondozo, and Alomomola. Take for example the teams below

(Might be worth mentioning Cinderace? Even though you've made excellent points that the 1v1 MU is heavily Hrott favoured, Cinderace can still turn lots of work done by Hrott into spikes for Cinderace's side later on. Just having a Cinderace in the back can neuter Hrott to some extent, I think.)

On teams that require more of its breaking power, Hisuian Samurott can afford to run the Choice Band to increase the power of Ceaseless Edge to be able to 2HKO Raging Bolt. (Might also mention other nice calcs with Choice Band, such as always OHKOing offensive great tusk with Razor Shell or almost always OHKOing offensive Gholdengo with Sucker Punch. Other calcs you prefer would also be great, these two were just examples.) Lum Berry can be used on Swords Dance sets to get rid of certain status like Moltres' Will-o-wisp. (Might add Pecharunt's poison + confusion as another example.) Black Glasses sets can forgo Swords Dance in exchange for another attack, which with Tera Dark as well makes it incredibly hard for checks like Alomomola, Corviknight, and Dondozo to handle long term with Knock Off, while also keeping Sucker Punch as priority. Mystic Water can be used on Swords Dance sets alongside Aqua Jet, which at +2 can outright OHKO faster opponents like Cinderace with Aqua Jet.
(I might mention Surf as an option on sets, this doesn't trigger Toxic Debris from Glimmora and hits Tusk harder. It has been used 3 times in SCL and once in SPL. Hydro Pump was also used once in SPL, this is probably fine to leave off but could be mentioned under the same idea.)
(I might mention Tera Ground as an option for a better matchup into Raging Bolt and Zapdos. It's hovered around 5-6% usage for the past couple of months, this is probably sufficient to be noticed as an other option.)
