[SET]
name: Sand Rush Sweeper
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Iron Head
move 4: Rapid Spin
item: Steelium Z
ability: Sand Rush
nature: Jolly
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Swords Dance in tandem with Sand Rush allows Excadrill to sweep through offensive teams and break through weakened bulky teams. Iron Head hits Pokemon that resist Earthquake like Tapu Bulu. Steelium Z turns Iron Head into a powerful Corkscrew Crash, which hits Excadrill's usual checks like Tangrowth and Landorus-T for incredible damage when boosted. Excadrill is a great offensive Rapid Spin user, as it is able to force a lot of switches. Rock Slide synergizes well with Earthquake, hitting Flying-types like Tornadus-T, Mega Pinsir, and Zapdos for super effective damage. Rapid Spin's utility is usually overall preferred, though.

Set Details
========

Steelium Z provides Excadrill with a 160-Base Power one-time nuke, allowing a +2 Excadrill to overwhelm bulky Pokemon like Tangrowth, defensive Landorus-T, and Zygarde. Leftovers is an option that allows Excadrill to check the likes of Tapu Koko and Clefable more consistently, as well as keeping it out of the range of priority like Mega Mawile's Sucker Punch after taking chip damage. A Jolly nature allows Excadrill to outpace Choice Scarf Greninja in sand, Speed tie with opposing Excadrill, and outspeed the likes of unboosted Zygarde and Modest Hydreigon outside of sand.

Usage Tips
========

Excadrill requires sand to successfully sweep or revenge kill, so try to keep your sand setter healthy as long as possible. Attempt to give Excadrill as many turns of sand as possible before you start a sweep, as you will have a better chance of sweeping successfully. Excadrill is capable of heavily weakening the opposing team early- to mid-game and open a path to sweep, but it still requires support. Before attempting a sweep with Excadrill, make sure that its offensive answers like Mega Alakazam and Ash-Greninja are eliminated and that its defensive stops like Celesteela and Landorus-T are weakened enough. Preserve the Z-Move for a bulky threat like Zygarde and Tangrowth to immediately KO them and successfully finish a sweep. You also can use the Z-Move to punch a hole for a teammate if needed. Try to not allow Excadrill to get chipped down, as chip damage can put Excadrill in the range of priority like Mega Mawile's Sucker Punch.

Team Options
========

Mega Tyranitar is the best teammate for Excadrill, as it provides sand, which is crucial for Excadrill's success. Mega Tyranitar also sets Stealth Rock, weakens Celesteela, and lures Landorus-T in order to KO it with Ice Punch or Ice Beam. Choice Band Tyranitar can also be used to soften up the opposing team for Excadrill and make a stall matchup easier, while Assault Vest Tyranitar helps check Mega Alakazam and Mega Charizard Y for Excadrill. However, both sets are usually not that optimal because Mega Tyranitar already puts pressure on the opposing team while providing additional utility. Hippowdon is another option for a sand setter, but it's generally not preferred, as it forces the team structure to be very passive. Pokemon like Tangrowth and Toxapex can take on Ash-Greninja, while Pokemon like Celesteela and Assault Vest Magearna can take on Mega Alakazam, both of which are some of Excadrill's best offensive answers. Both Greninja formes are able to beat Landorus-T and weaken Celesteela for Excadrill while setting up Spikes. Protean Greninja also can lure in Tangrowth before weakening it with Gunk Shot so Excadrill won't need to use its Z-Move on it. Clefable can heal off Excadrill's chip damage and keep the sand setter healthy with Wish. Reuniclus can check some of Excadrill's answers like Celesteela, Zygarde, and Landorus-T and use them as setup fodder. Mega Charizard Y appreciates Excadrill's Rapid Spin support, and it threatens some of Excadrill's checks like Celesteela and Tangrowth while also being able to reset sand turns.

Ok, I think it is ready for qc

[Set]

name: Sand Rush Sweeper
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Iron Head
move 4: Rock Slide
item: Steelium Z
ability: Sand Rush
nature: Adamant / Jolly
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Replace Rock Slide with Rapid Spin. Keep Rock Slide in Moves.

Remove Adamant from both the set and Set Details, it's much better to always Speed tie opposing Excadrill.

[Moves]

* Swords Dance helps Excadrill to break through bulky Pokemon like Tangrowth and in conjunction with Sand Rush allows Excadrill to sweep opposing team.
I don't think you should specify any Pokemon here. Instead, just say that Swords Dance lets it break through bulkier teams in general.

* Iron Head hits Pokemon resisting Earthquake like Tapu Bulu and Tangrowth. With Steelium Z, it turns into powerful Corkscrew Crash, which hits usual Excadrill's checks like Tangrowth and Landorus-T for an incredible damage when boosted.
Don't mention Tangrowth here because Iron Head doesn't do enough to matter if it isn't at +4 (you Iron Head at +2, get hit by Earthquake, it switches out, and kills Excadrill after that).

Add Rapid Spin.

[Set Details]

* Steelium Z is necesarry for 160 BP one-time nuke, allowing it to overwhelm bulky Pokemon like Tangrowth and Zygarde at +2.
Mention fat Landorus-T here.

* The given EV spread and Adamant nature maximize Excadrill's firepower and speed. Jolly can be used over Adamant if you want to outpace Choice Scarf Greninja in sand at the cost of power drop.
Change this to reflect on the changes made to the set. Also talk about what Jolly does outside of the sand.

[Usage Tips]

Talk about how Excadrill is usually capable of forcing a KO, or at least heavily weaken a Pokemon to set up its own late-game sweep.

[Team Options]

* Tyranitar is the mandatory teammate for this Excadrill, as it provides crucial sand. Choice Band Tyranitar can weaken opposing team, making Excadrill's sweep much easier, and Mega Tyranitar provides Stealth Rock, which chips opposing Pokémon and can put them into a KO range of Excadrill's attacks. Both forms of Tyranitar also pressure Mega Alakazam, one of Excadrill's offensive answers.
This should focus on Mega Tyranitar and should only mention CB Tyranitar as an alternative that is usually not optimal to run with Excadrill.

* Hippowdon is an option of sand setter for more fat teams. It also sets Stealth Rock.
You run Mega Tyranitar + Excadrill on fat squads 99% of the time, so mention how it's usually not preferred.

* Pokémon like Ash-Greninja and Tapu Koko can take on Excadrill's defensive answers like Celesteela and Landorus-T. Ash-Greninja provides additional utility in Spikes, while Tapu Koko can bring Excadrill on the field safely via U-turn or Volt Switch.

* Ash-Greninja is another threatening for Excadrill Pokémon, so Excadrill appreciates Ash-Greninja's checks like Hydreigon and Tangrowth being its teammates.

* Since Excadrill lacks of defensive utility and recovery, pivots like Tornadus-T, Rotom-W, and Tapu Koko will be good teammates. In addition, Tornadus-T can threaten Tangrowth, while Rotom-W and Tapu Koko can threaten Celesteela and Landorus-T.
While this is true in theory, you literally never run any of these Pokemon with Excadrill, so remove them.

Instead, I want you to mention Pokemon like Tangrowth, Tapu Bulu, Toxapex, Greninja, Reuniclus, Celesteela, and Clefable, which are actually commonly run alongside Excadrill.

Please notify me once this is implemented. This is not 1/3.

[Moves]

* Earthquake is the main Excadrill's move, hitting anything that doesn't resist it or immune for a solid amount of damage.
Cut this because of our new policy regarding fluff.

[Set Details]

* The given EV spread maximizes Excadrill's Speed and firepower.
* Sand Rush is the key point of this set, allowing Excadrill to successfully revenge kill opposing Pokemon or clean up rest of the opposing team in sand.
Remove these as well.

[Team Options]

* Tyranitar is the mandatory teammate for this Excadrill, as it provides crucial sand. Mega Tyranitar is the best option, as it sets Stealth Rock, can weaken Celesteela with Fire Punch or beat Landorus-T with Ice Punch or Ice Beam. Choice Band Tyranitar also can be used to soften up opposing team for Excadrill, but it's usually not optimal, as Mega Tyranitar already does it and provides additional utility.
Start this off by talking about Mega Tyranitar first, Tyranitar should only be mentioned as an option at the end. Don't specify "with Fire Punch", because Fire Punch and Stone Edge do the same damage. Also, what do you mean by "it", seems relatively vague here so make sure to expand on that.

* Hippowdon is another option of sand setter, but it's generally not preferred, as it has poor synergy with Excadrill.
While Hippowdon's synergy isn't the best with Excadrill, this isn't exactly why it's usually not run. It's mainly because Hippowdon forces sand balances to be played very passively, which just isn't ideal when considering what you're going for in the end-game.

* Greninja is able to beat Landorus-T and weaken Celesteela for Excadrill and also sets up Spikes. Choice Scarf variants also act as a form of Speed control outside of sand.
Ash-Greninja is run more often than Protean Greninja, so mention it as well. Remove the part where you talk about Choice Scarf Greninja because it should never be used on sand balances. You could possibly state how Greninja can lure Tangrowth for Excadrill so that it won't have to use its Steelium Z on it.

Add Reuniclus and Clefable.

Implement the cutting down the fat shit ppl mentioned from garys thread in terms of not mentioning filler shit like what max/max spreads do bc its kinda self explanatory. Mention lefties in set details at least since its a good item, allowing drill to be way more consistent vs like koko and more easily healing out of range of shit like maw sucker after u take chip dmg.

Usage Tips:
Looks really solid but expand the first bullet point to include how you should be cognizant of sand turns when using drill so that you get the most devastating use out of it when sand is up (word this a bit more eloquently than i did tho lol)

Team Options
Reword the ttar bullet point its not right at all, megatars a great teammate but cbtars far from a bad teammate lol. cbtar lets u actually break past stall and can put a shitton of pressure on shit like steela and lando that is irritating for driller to deal with. reword it so u talk about why cbtar is good without acting like its automatically inferior to mega. Mention zardy in teammates bc it loves spin support and can break past/weaken teams to set up for a drill sweep with a light mention on how resetting sand turns can be useful in lategame situations. other mentions of breakers/overload cores would be nice but team options is solid otherwise tbh

Just say something along the lines of “but Rapid Spin’s utillity is overall preferred” on this paragraph too.
Before start a sweep with Excadrill, make sure that Excadrill's offensive answers like Mega Alakazam and Ash-Greninja, as well as its defensive stops like Celesteela and Landorus-T, are eliminated.
Defensive switch ins don’t quite need to be eliminated, just say something like “weakened enough” or “in range of Excadrill”.
If there are more than one bulky threat in the opposing team, use Z-move on the most threatening of them.
You’d probably want to weaken the other bulky Pokémon instead of just picking one to nuke if you’re going for a sweep, if you just want to punch a hole for something else in the back then it’s fine. Try to fit this mindset into that period.

Swords Dance helps Excadrill to break through bulkier teams and in conjunction with Sand Rush allows Excadrill to sweep opposing team.
Reword this so that you say "sweep through offensive teams" and "break through weakened bulky teams.

Team Options
I would change the Choice Band Tyranitar mention to Tyranitar in general because AVTar works fine as a sand setter and its role compression provides more flexibility for teambuilding purposes.
Hippowdon is another option of sand setter, but it's generally not preferred, as it forces Excadrill's team to play very passively.
Reword this to say that it forces the team to be passive, not that it forces the player to play passively.

This looks pretty good content wise, but I would recommend that you either proofread this yourself or ask someone that you know is really good at speaking/writing english to look over this before you send it to GP because I found dozens of grammar mistakes scanning over this and this probably won't be checked for a while because GP members won't wanna check it otherwise.

Excadrill is a great offensive Rapid Spin user, as it is able to can force a lot of(seemed like fluff) switches. Rock Slide synergizes well with Earthquake, hitting airborne Pokemon like Tornadus-T, Mega Pinsir, and Zapdos for super effective damage. Rapid Spin's utility is usually overall preferred, though.

Set Details
========

Steelium Z is necesarry necessary for a 160 BP base power one-time nuke, allowing it(it seemed ambiguous with Steelium Z) Excadrill to overwhelm bulky Pokemon like Tangrowth, defensive Landorus-T, and Zygarde at +2. Leftovers is also a decent item for Excadrill.(RP),(AC) as It it allows Excadrill to check the likes of Tapu Koko(this may need one more example because likes would mean at least two things / kinda a QC thing, idk here) more consistently, as well as keeping to keep(parallel structure with "to check") it out from of range of priority attacks like Mega Mawile's Sucker Punch after taking chip damage. A Jolly nature allows Excadrill to outpace Choice Scarf Greninja in sand, Speed tie with opposing Excadrill, and outspeed the likes of unboosted Zygarde and Modest Hydreigon outside of sand. (yeah this is what I mean by using "the likes of" and having more than one example)

Usage Tips
========

Excadrill requires sand to successfully sweep or revenge kill successfully(moving the adverb here also implies that Excadrill requires sand to be up in order to revenge kill well, not just sweep), so try to keep your sand setter healthy as long as possible. Attempt to give Excadrill as many turns of sand as possible before you start a sweep, as you will have better chances to sweep successfully. Excadrill is capable of heavily weakening the opposing team early- to mid-game and open a path to sweep, but it still requires support. Before attempting a sweep with Excadrill, make sure that (you can either remove "that" HERE)Excadrill's offensive answers like Mega Alakazam and Ash-Greninja are eliminated,(RC) and (or add the word "that" HERE. However, I think removing it is best since it's kinda fluff.)its defensive stops like Celesteela and Landorus-T are weakened enough. Preserve the Z-move for a bulky threat like Zygarde and Tangrowth to immediately KO them and successfully finish a sweep. You also can use the Z-move to punch a hole for a teammate if needed. Try to not allow prevent Excadrill to get from getting chipped down, as chip damage can put Excadrill in the range of priority like Mega Mawile's Sucker Punch.

Team Options
========

Mega Tyranitar is the best teammate for Excadrill, as it crucially provides the crucial sand(if you remove the word crucial from the sentence you are left with "provides the sand" which sounds kinda weird. I also think changing crucial to crucially sounds better). Mega Tyranitar also sets Stealth Rock, weakens Celesteela,(AC) and lures Landorus-T with Ice Punch or Ice Beam. Choice Band Tyranitar can also be used to soften up the opposing team for Excadrill and make the stall matchup matchups(the implies only one singular way to utilize stall, which I kinda doubt) easier, while Assault Vest Tyranitar helps check Mega Alakazam and Mega Charizard Y for Excadrill, but both are usually not that(fluff) optimal because Mega Tyranitar already puts pressure on the opposing team while providing additional utility. Both Greninja formes are able to can beat Landorus-T and weaken Celesteela for Excadrill while setting and set(changed "setting" to "set" because verb tense with "can") up Spikes for Excadrill. Protean Greninja also can lure in Tangrowth with Gunk Shot so Excadrill won't need to use its Z-move on it. Clefable can heal off Excadrill's chip damage and keep Excadrill and the sand setter healthy by healing them with Wish. Reuniclus can check some of Excadrill's answers like Celesteela, Zygarde, and Landorus-T, and use them as a setup fodders fodder.(Can only use one of them as fodder at a time) Mega Charizard Y appreciates Excadrill's Rapid Spin support, and it threatens some of Excadrill's checks like Celesteela and Tangrowth while also being able to reset sand turns.

GP 1/2

[note the following rule from the standards:
  • Moves do not "lure" Pokemon. "Scizor lures in Heatran with Superpower" would imply Heatran is pretty confused! Instead, use "Scizor lures in Heatran and KOes it with Superpower" or a similar phrase. Note that "Superpower allows Scizor to lure in and KO Heatran" is correct; the move Superpower does allow Scizor to perform the combination of luring in and KOing Heatran.]

Mega Charizard Y appreciates Excadrill's Rapid Spin support, and it threatens some of Excadrill's checks like Celesteela and Tangrowth while also being able to reset sand turns.

Implemented.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

Before attempting a sweep with Excadrill, make sure that its offensive answers like Mega Alakazam and Ash-Greninja are eliminated, (RC) and that its defensive stops like Celesteela and Landorus-T are weakened enough. Preserve the Z-mMove for a bulky threat like Zygarde and Tangrowth to immediately KO them and successfully finish a sweep. You also can use the Z-mMove to punch a hole for a teammate if needed. Try to not allow Excadrill to get chipped down, as chip damage can put Excadrill in the range of priority like Mega Mawile's Sucker Punch.

Team Options
========

Protean Greninja also can lure in Tangrowth before weakening it with Gunk Shot so Excadrill won't need to use its Z-mMove on it.
