sand team

Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 212 SDef / 48 Spd
Gentle Nature
- Crunch
- Stealth Rock
- Pursuit
- Fire Blast

Specially defensive ttar is always one of the pokemon i go for when making teams. playing a wall, ability to set up rocks and even trap threats such as latios and latias accordingly makes this pokemon shine in my team. Sand stream allows me to get rid of rain and sun since both of those weather have abusers that can put holes in my team. this pokemon ev spread is design to outspeed either bulky scizor or choice banded scizor with no speed ev's, this pokemon has a gentle nature so i dont have to lower my speed or weaken my fire blast.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 236 Def / 20 Spd
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Thunderbolt
- Psyshock
- Calm Mind

This pokemon is probably weird to see in the metagame at this time. this old 4th gen / early 5th gen set is surprisingly well suited for this team of mines. wish to give my team some form of recovery and calm mind to help this pokemon go for late game sweeps. i gave it thunderbolt just to hit water types and to get neutral damage on to other steels, and it has psyshock to deal heavy damage to chansey and blissey, since they literally cannot touch this pokemon i can use them as the perfect setup fodder.
this pokemon is physically defensive only because i am going to be boosting my special defense all the time. this pokemon is also my wall towards dragons being a steel type with great bulk.

Stoutland (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Sand Rush
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Return
- Pursuit
- Fire Fang
- Superpower

After a few calculations this stoutland set outpseeds the entire meta scarfed or not. this pokemon can outspeed scarf latios by a bear minimum whiles the sand is up. With the remaining evs i drop them towards hp which adds a small amount of bulk towards this pokemon. stoutland plays as my revenge killer and late game sweeper. i opt for pursuit to trap alakazam or gengar that fear the crunch, fire fang is mainly for ferrothorn so i dont have to resort to superpower lowering my atk and def everytime i use it.

Keldeo (Keldeo-Resolute) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Secret Sword
- Surf
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Now this monster right here is a great pokemon to this team and is majority of the time hard counter towards rain team. dealing a miminum 52% to tentacruel from hydro pump in the rain is quite a feet, seeing that tentacruel is really bulky. keldeo is my wall breaker and technically another pseudo physical hitter sending out banded secret swords at my opponent and then being able to send specs special attacks when needed the most.
i carry hp ice to easily ohko dragon types and give me some lee-way to deal with special defensive celebi.

251.gif

Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 216 SDef / 40 Spd
Calm Nature
- Psychic
- Baton Pass
- Recover
- Hidden Power [Fire]

This pokemon plays a vital role in dealing with breloom and pretty much any rain team that stands in my way. once i send out a pokemon i deemed useless in the battle as sleep fodder i can safely send out my celebi to deal with it easily at anytime deal super effective damage to it no matter what i do. i carry the hp fire for steel types, and i chose baton pass over u-turn so i can dodge pursuits and still keep offensive momentum whiles doing so.

645.gif

Landorus (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Earth Power
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn

Last but not least sheer force landorus. the final power house behind this team legitimately destroying any team in the meta single handed, i run u-turn just for opposing celebis trying to swallow up the earth power or focus blast. u-turn also helps me to keep momentum in a match if i dont feel safe going for a earth power knowing they have counters like latias on their team. to be honest there isnt much i have to explain about this pokemon its pretty much a nidoking on steriods.

Hey PTZ! This is a really solid team, so I only have a few nitpicks. First of all, opposing Mamoswine are very threatening. It threatens to kill 2/3 of your team with its STABs and you lack a safe switch in bar extremely good prediction. Kyurem-B is on the same boat since it can get a free Substitute on Jirachi, Celebi, Keldeo locked into the wrong move, and Tyranitar and then proceed to wreck havoc. Opposing Heatran seem rather troublesome as well due to the fact that it walls Jirachi, Tyranitar, Celebi, and Stoutland to an extent. With Protect it eases prediction against your team, and it racks up Sandstorm and/or Toxic damage against your only "outs" to Heatran. Opposing Garchomp and Gliscor also seem to be rather annoying since they really aren't threatened by a large portion on your team, and switch in rather easily on several of your main Pokemon in Tyranitar and Jirachi. Because of this, I have a few things you can try out. I'd definitely use a Sash Tyranitar with Low Kick and Ice Beam instead of Pursuit and Fire Blast. This keeps Garchomp and Gliscor at bay by luring them to an extent, and you become an effective lead as well which you currently lack. Opposing Garchomp and Terrakion leads don't have a decent matchup, and if they don't double attack, (they don't usually) you win. If this change doesn't suit you, try out Hidden Power Ice on Celebi to nail the afforementioned Pokemon. I push the Tyranitar change more; however, because Low Kick also makes your Heatran and Kyurem-B weakness less extreme. Lastly, try out Flash Cannon on Jirachi with an EV spread of 252 HP / 100 Def / 156 Spe. This allows you to outspeed Modest Landorus which would otherwise revenge kill your Jirachi. This speed tier also outspeeds all other Kyurem-B and Mamoswines bar Scarf varients, and it's the best Speed to hit for CM Jirachi on your team. These changes aren't necessary since your team is already solid, but I feel like they would add to your team in terms of efficiency by giving you a good lead and less chances for opposing threats to switch into you. Good luck.
