and on the topic of discussion of the best variant of dracozolt as said by glava222 I do not think this is the place for discussion, thank you very much everyone for the recommendations and I await your response on the new changes of the team thank you very much again
This Excadrill sand team is already very similar to my own with just two pokemon differences. The last two things I will suggest is consider using max hp max spd Slowking over Slowbro to give your team a Heatran switch in. While Tyranitar can do that, you do not wanna be recklessly switching in to Heatran unless you're sure it's not an offensive variant. Second is consider using max hp max def Skarmory over Corviknight. Since you're using rapid spin as hazard removal, stack em hazards with spikes roost body press and brave bird
Scarf chomp isn’t rlly a thing actually, there’s 2 chomp sets rn. Tankchomp and scale dance. I’ve never seen a scarf chomp lately so it’s hardly an argument, while dracozolt is a breaker, it’s main breaking potential comes in its signature move which only has its full potential when moving first, the special attack evs do basically nothing compared to the 120 136 set as the draco meteor has a very low chance to ohko after rocks.
I think it is. It's actually very rare and if I had to guess, it appears like once or twice a week whenever I battle. And by rare I mean it's about the chance of you getting your starter pokemon as a shiny but like I said, that's not something really to worry about but only something to keep in mind as an unexpected scarf chomp can easily derail Ocelzolt
And the target for Ocelzolt's SpA is actually max hp Landorus Therian. Take a look at these calcs
136 SpA Life Orb Dracozolt Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-Therian: 214-253 (56 - 66.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
136 SpA Life Orb Dracozolt Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-Therian: 214-253 (67 - 79.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
212+ SpA Life Orb Dracozolt Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-Therian: 253-300 (79.3 - 94%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
212+ SpA Life Orb Dracozolt Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-Therian: 253-300 (66.2 - 78.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
As you can see, it easily mauls Landorus Therian, meaning that just some minor chip damage on it and suddenly it drops to a single draco. I believe that was the point on why LiquidOcelot made that set as Landorus Therian is annoying to both Garchomp and Excadrill
