When XXX is Stone Edge this:
Stone Edge: 120-142 (39.73 - 47.01%) -- 91.41% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and weather
But Latias OHKO him before the 2HKO, and you forget the Stone Miss Effect ;)
If Sandslash has X-Scissor - although this would have to be used over Rapid Spin since Stone Edge is it's best coverage move - it can get a OHKO on Latios, and a possible OHKO on Latias (Guaranteed after SR).
+2 X-Scissor vs. Latios : 231-273 (127.81 - 150.33%)
+2 X-Scissor vs. Latias : 350-412 (96.15 - 113.18%)
You shouldn't even be worried about beating the Latis with Sandslash since Scarf Latios outspeeds anyway, and Tyranitar can just trap them.

Honestly, if you're going to run a choice band sand rush abuser, you might as well use stoutland, it has better speed, bulk, and a better movepool. Sandslash doesn't really have the moves to run choice band effectively.

Also, Sandslash has Swords Dance, which is enough with SD / Earthquake / Stone Edge / (Rapid Spin / X-Scissor).
Exactly, Sandslash's niche is being able to boost and switch moves so it's not stuck being locked into something like EQ, while also having the capability to be a fast spinner.
Anything else is just a worse stoutland.
