[OVERVIEW]
Among the myriad of Fighting-types in PU, Sawk tries to stand out thanks to its above average Speed Tier that allows it to overcome certain threats of the tier such as Gallade, Mesprit, and Magmortar. Sawk also has very good coverage, its movepool including moves like Knock Off, Poison Jab, Stone Edge, and Earthquake which, coupled with its access to Mold Breaker allow it to defeat the most common switch-ins to other Fighting-types, such as Weezing, Charizard, and Whimsicott. Sawk is very frail though, but this problem can be handled thanks to its ability Sturdy, allowing it to survive a hit from full HP and retaliate, making it a dangerous threat to offensive archetypes. However, it has no real defensive utility, and nothing in his movepool pushes it over the edge, so Fighting-types such as Toxicroak and Passimian are often preferred over it.

[SET]
name: Choice Attacker
move 1: Close Combat
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Knock Off
move 4: Poison Jab
item: Choice Band
ability: Mold Breaker
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
This set makes switching into Sawk's Close Combat a really difficult task that only a few pokemon such as Aromatisse, Uxie, and Weezing can afford to accomplish. But Sawk's coverage makes up for that problem: Earthquake, paired with its ability Mold Breaker allows it to beat bulky Poison-types such as Weezing and Garbodor, Knock Off is good for getting rid of items, as well as hitting Psychic- and Ghost-types such as Mesprit, Uxie, and Gourgeist-S. Poison Jab rounds off the set, hitting Fairy-types such as Aromatisse and Ribombee super effectively. Sawk greatly appreciates teammates that are capable of bringing it in against Pokemon like Gigalith, Guzzlord, and Aggron with pivoting moves, such as Archeops and Heliolisk. Cleaners such as Scyther and Ribombee really appreciate Sawk's ability to get rid of their counters such as Regirock, Gigalith, and Garbodor, as Ribombee can set up Sticky Web, making Sawk a lot harder to revenge kill. However, if Sticky Web is not set up, Sawk is super easy to revenge kill and needs a strong defensive core to back it up. Therefore, Garbodor and Gigalith also make for good partners, as the former improves Sawk’s wallbreaking ability by setting up Spikes.

[SET]
name: Sturdy Boots
move 1: Close Combat
move 2: Knock Off
move 3: Poison Jab
move 4: Earthquake
item: Heavy-Duty Boots
ability: Sturdy
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
This set makes good use of Sawk's Sturdy ability and Heavy-Duty Boots keeping it intact. Knock Off is its main coverage option, allowing it to deal good damage Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Jellicent, Mesprit, and Claydol. Knock Off can also make Sawk a lot harder to revenge kill by getting rid of Choice Scarf from Pokémon such as Mesprit and Passimian. Poison Jab hits Fairy-types such as Silvally-Fairy and Ribombee super effectively, and Earthquake deals good damage to Poison-types like Garbodor and Toxicroak. This Sawk set works particularly well on offensive teams thanks to its ability to stop sweeps, as it is able to revenge kill a lot of threats such as Toxicroak, Lycanroc, and Silvally-Steel. Cleaners such as Ribombee and Silvally-Ghost really appreciate Sawk's ability to wear down their checks such as Golbat, Garbodor, and Silvally-Steel.

[OVERVIEW]

Among the myriad of fighting types in PU, Sawk tries to stand out thanks to its interesting Speed(AS)tier that allows it to overcome certain threats of the tier such as Gallade, Mesprit, (AC) or Magmortar. (sawk is also naturally stronger than a lot of the other fighting-types in pu.) Sawk also has a very good coverage, its movepool including moves like Knock Off, Poison Jab, Stone Edge or Earthquake which, coupled with its access to Mold Breaker allow it to defeat the most common switch-ins to other Fighting-(AH)types such as Weezing, Talonflame and Whimsicott. Sawk is very frail though, but this problem can be handled thanks to its ability Sturdy, allowing it to take a hit and retaliate, making it a dangerous threat to offensive archetypes. However, it has no real defensive utility and is rather predictable, so fighting types such as Toxicroak, Virizion, (AC) and Hitmonlee (i'd rather see you mention passimian than hitmonlee, pass is arguably sawk's biggest competition.) are often prefferred over it.

[SET COMMENTS]

This set makes switching into Sawk's Close Combat a really difficult task, that only few pokemon such as Aromatisse, Uxie and Weezing can afford to accomplish. But Sawk's coverage makes up for that problem: Earthquake, paired with its ability Mold Breaker allows it to beat bulky Poison-types such as Weezing and Garbodor as Knock Off is good for getting rid of items as well as hitting Psychic- and Ghost-types such as Mesprit, Uxie, (AC) and Gourgeist-Small. Poison Jab rounds off the set, hitting Fairy-types such as Aromatisse and Ribombee super effectively. Stone Edge can also be an option, allowing Sawk to deal big damage to Flying- and Bug-types such as Talonflame, Golbat, (AC) and Vikavolt. However, Sawk is an inferior choiced attacker to Passimian thanks to its access to U-Turn, making it a great pivot while still being a solid wallbreaker. But Sawk's speed tier and access to Mold Breaker can help it being used over Passimian on some teams. (i'm not sure this belongs here. if sawk were unviable and the entire analysis was reflecting that, then maybe, but as it stands, i'd delete this info and possibly touch on it in your overview.) Sawk greatly appreciates teammates that are capable of bringing it in against Pokemon like Gigalith, Guzzlord, (AC) and Silvally-Steel with pivoting moves, such as Archeops and Heliolisk. Cleaners such as Scyther and Ribombee really appreciate Sawk's ability to get rid of their counters such as Talonflame, Gigalith, (AC) and Garbodor, as the latter also makes for a good partner thanks to its ability to set-up Spikes, strongly improving Sawk's wallbreaking ability. (if you want to mention entry hazard support, give it its own sentence or sentences. trying to mash that point together with another point is awkward.)

move 4: Earthquake / Stone Edge

[SET COMMENTS]

This set makes good use of Sawk's Sturdy ability, allowing it thanks to Heavy-Duty Boots to take any hit from full health and to retaliate. Again, Close Combat is Sawk's strongest STAB and Knock Off is its main coverage option, allowing it to deal good damage Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Mesprit, Claydol, (AC) and Jellicent. But what makes Knock Off really stand out from other coverage moves is how well it pairs with the Sturdy + Heavy-Duty Boots concept. Indeed, getting rid of Choice Scarfs from Pokemon such as Mesprit, Passimian, (AC) and Braviary makes Sawk really hard to revenge kill at times. Poison Jab hits Fairy-types such as Aromatisse and Ribombee super effectively, as Earthquake deals good damage to Poison-types like Garbodor and Toxicroak. Stone Edge can also be used to lure Flying-types such as Talonflame, Scyther, (AC) and Braviary. However, given that Sawk doesn't have Mold Breaker, Weezing makes for a huge counter to this set, making it very niche. (this point can probably be connected to the next point you're about to make somehow. currently, it reads like a point out of an overview.) This Sawk set really appreciates partners that can bring it in safely with pivoting moves and that shares checks with it, such as Mesprit and Heliolisk. The former also helps Sawk by granting it 2 uses of this strategy thanks to its access to Healing Wish. Cleaners such as Ribombee and Silvally-Fairy really appreciate Sawk's ability to wear down their checks such as Talonflame, Garbodor, (AC) and Silvally-Steel.

this set's place on offense should probably be briefly emphasized to better distinguish it from cb, i feel like that's where it shines most.

i know a lot of my fixes are grammatical, but they were really just things that can be quickly amended. other than that, good work, qc 1/2.

Among the myriad of fighting types in PU, Sawk tries to stand out thanks to its interesting above average? interesting is just not very descriptive speedtier that allows it to overcome certain threats of the tier such as Gallade, Mesprit, or Magmortar. Sawk also has very good coverage, its movepool including moves like Knock Off, Poison Jab, Stone Edge or Earthquake which, coupled with its access to Mold Breaker allow it to defeat the most common switch-ins to other Fighting-types such as Weezing, Talonflame replace and Whimsicott. However, it has no real defensive utility and is rather predictable this is true of other fighting types, and pass is very predictable. I think no defensive utility is right but really the issue is a lack of anything else to push it over the edge- no u-turn, no good boosting move, no priority. Sawk can't do more for ur team. this sentence doesn't explain why Sawk is outclassed very well, I'd like to go just a tiny bit into that, so Fighting-types such as Toxicroak and Passimian are often preffered one f over it.
missing an extra line break here

Sawk greatly appreciates teammates that are capable of bringing it in against Pokemon like Gigalith, Guzzlord, and Silvally-Steel don't like the last example, multi-attack does 70 min so ur probably gonna be in range with pivoting moves, such as Archeops and Heliolisk. Cleaners such as Scyther and Ribombee really appreciate Sawk's ability to get rid of their counters such as Regirock, Gigalith, and Garbodor. The latter also makes for a good partner thanks to its ability to set-up Spikes do you mean sticky webs???, strongly improving Sawk's wallbreaking ability. probably worth mentioning Sawk is dead easy to revenge kill and will need a defensive core to back it up. don't need to get too specific there just this is the kind of mon that needs support

Knock Off is its main coverage option, allowing it to deal good damage Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Mesprit, Claydol, and Jellicent. But what makes Knock Off really stand out from other coverage moves is how well it pairs with the Sturdy + Heavy-Duty Boots concept. Indeed, getting rid of Choice Scarfs from Pokémon such as Mesprit, Passimian, and Braviary makes Sawk really hard to revenge kill at times this is too long and flowery for an analysis, condense the point because nothing this simple should be 3 decent length sentences. Poison Jab hits Fairy-types such as Aromatisse and Ribombee avoid using the exact same examples as from previous sets, there are other fairies super effectively, as Earthquake deals good damage to Poison-types like Garbodor and Toxicroak. This Sawk set works particularly well on offensive teams and therefore really appreciates partners that can bring it in safely with pivoting moves and that share checks with it, such as Mesprit and Heliolisk this point is not right at all. Sawk is not a breaker that needs switchins it's primarily a revenge killer that stops a sweep. I would delete this point entirely, pivots get emphasized so frequently that it's better to not mention them when they're not especially important. The former also helps Sawk by granting it 2 uses of this strategy thanks to its access to Healing Wish. Cleaners such as Ribombee and Silvally-Fairy really appreciate Sawk's ability to wear down their checks such as Golbat, Garbodor, and Silvally-Steel. again you're treating Sawk like a breaker, it's unable to do much versus any mildly sturdy team. maybe this is ok but at least emphasize how it's a sweep-stopper for offense, you just say "it's good on offense" without why. it's ok to be shorter on partners for something like this, Sawk has a very specific role and doesn't need a ton of support to do it

[SET COMMENTS]
This set makes switching into Sawk's Close Combat a really difficult task,(RC) (never use a comma before "that", only use it before "which", since it has non-restrictive meaning) that only a few pokemon Pokemon (another important thing that should never be overlooked, these small yet important mistakes will be more noticeable once you read your check 2-3 times) such as Aromatisse, Uxie,(AC) and Weezing can afford to accomplish. But However,(AC) Sawk's coverage makes up for that problem: Earthquake,(RC) (paired / couple with don't need a comma before) paired with its ability Mold Breaker allows it to beat bulky Poison-types such as Weezing and Garbodor as (the use of "as" here seems incorrect, since the sentence explaining what Knock Off does isn't connected to the previous one; the author's giving examples for each fo Sawk's coverage move, therefore a conjunction like "and" or "while" would work better here) ,(AC) while Knock Off is good for getting rid of items,(AC) as well as hitting Psychic- and Ghost-types such as Mesprit, Uxie, and Gourgeist-S.
