Equipped with a Choice Scarf, Meowscarada outspeeds both the entirety of the unboosted metagame and even some boosted Pokemon like +1 Iron Valiant, +1 Roaring Moon, and +1 Walking Wake. It also has strong offensive pressure thanks to Protean, essentially giving it a STAB boost to the first move it uses. Knock Off allows Meowscarada to remove important items from Pokemon that rely on them, such as Heavy-Duty Boots from Dragonite, Skeledirge, and Volcarona, as well as Leftovers from Corviknight. U-turn allows Meowscarada to serve as a fast pivot to keep up momentum, and with the boost from Protean, it can OHKO or dent slower Pokemon like opposing Meowscarada and Greninja. Play Rough allows Meowscarada to threaten Dark-, Dragon-, Dark-, and Fighting-types such as Walking Wake, Dragapult, Dragonite, Roaring Moon, and Iron Valiant. Trick allows Meowscarada to cripple walls such as Tera Fairy Garganacl, Amoonguss, and Toxapex. A Jolly nature ensures that Meowscarada can outspeed the aforementioned boosted Pokemon like Roaring Moon and Walking Wake. Tera Grass removes Meowscarada's Dark typing, eliminating its weakness to Mach Punch from Breloom and Pawmot. Tera Fairy grants Meowscarada a resistance to Fighting but also keeps its resistance to Sucker Punch. Tera Dark boosts the power of Meowscarada's Knock Off, granting it a chance to OHKO Skeledirge. Terastalizing Meowscarada also blocks Protean's effects, giving it both a consistent defensive typing and STAB moves.

Choice Scarf Meowscarada fits best on various balance and offensive teams. It appreciates entry hazard support from Garchomp and Ting-Lu, since Meowscarada's Speed and coverage can force many switches. Hazards can also break the Focus Sash of users like Hisuian Zoroark, Ceruledge, and Breloom for Meowscarada to knock them out more easily. When Meowscarada isn't running Play Rough, it can struggle against Walking Wake, Iron Valiant, and Dragonite. Hence, Pokemon that can check them such as Water Absorb Clodsire, Tera Fairy Garganacl, and Dondozo make for good teammates. Clodsire can handle Walking Wake, Tera Fairy Garganacl can handle Iron Valiant, and Dondozo walls Dragonite. Despite Meowscarada's coverage options, it finds itself struggling to break past walls like Amoonguss and Corviknight, as well as offensive Pokemon like Iron Moth and Volcarona. Hence, Meowscarada appreciates Pokemon that can check them like Volcarona for Amoonguss and Corviknight, and Skeledirge for Iron Moth and opposing Volcarona. Meowscarada's role as a wallbreaker and a pivot means that it can enable sweeps from Iron Valiant and the aforementioned Volcarona by bringing them in on Ting-Lu and Corviknight, respectively.

Play Rough allows Meowscarada to threaten Dragon- and Fighting-types such as Walking Wake, Dragapult, Roaring Moon, Dragonite, and Iron Valiant. Why specifically Dragon and Fighting? What about Dark types? Trick allows Meowscarada to cripple walls such as Garganacl and Ting-Lu. A Jolly nature ensures that Meowscarada can outspeed the aforementioned boosted Pokemon. Tera Grass removes Meowscarada's Dark-type, turning its weakness to Mach Punch into a resistance. Grass don't resist Mach Punch Tera Fairy grants Meowscarada not only a resistance to Mach Punch, but it also keeps Meowscarada's resistance to Sucker Punch. Tera Dark keeps its resistance to Sucker Punch while also being able to resist Shadow Sneak from Ceruledge. Worth noting somewhere that Tera blocks Protean's effects, allowing Meowscarada to have a consistent STAB and defensive typing.

U-turn allows Meowscarada to serve as a fast pivot to keep up momentum, and with the boost from Protean, it can OHKO or dent slower Pokemon like Greninja and opposing Meowscarada. Play Rough allows Meowscarada to threaten Dragon-, Dark-, and Fighting-types such as Walking Wake, Dragapult, Roaring Moon, Dragonite, and Iron Valiant. Tera Grass removes Meowscarada's Dark-type, removing its weakness to Mach Punch from Breloom and Pawmot. Alternatively, you could just note that it removes the whole Fighting weakness; that's still mostly relevant for Loom's Mach Punch though. Tera Fairy grants Meowscarada not only a resistance to Mach Punch same applies here, although if you do the above first I think this is fine as is, since you've established that those priority moves are threatening normally., but it also keeps Meowscarada's resistance to Sucker Punch. Tera Dark keeps its resistance to Sucker Punch while also being able to resist Shadow Sneak from Ceruledge. Terastalizing Meowscarada also blocks Protean's effects, giving it a consistent defensive typing and consistent STAB moves might seem like a GP thing, but my justification for this slight change is that having a consistent defensive typing is also extremely helpful, especially against priority from the mons you listed. Tera Fairy can give you that consistent Bug (and, thus, U-Turn) resistance in a pinch, which can be super useful.

Since Scarf Meowscarada is the fastest unboosted mon in the tier, you could possibly argue that it can clean up lategame if these mons wear stuff down for it. If you were to add this (I'll let you decide; I still think this what you have here is good as is), what are some mons that Valiant and Volc could wear down for Meowscarada in return?

It also has strong offensive pressure thanks to Protean, essentially giving it a STAB boost to the first move it uses. (idt you need to explain what protean does + some moves are stab anyways) Knock Off allows Meowscarada to remove important items from Pokemon that rely on them, such as Heavy-Duty Boots from Dragonite, Skeledirge, and Volcarona, and as well as Leftovers from Corviknight. U-turn allows Meowscarada to serve as a fast pivot to keep up momentum, and with the boost from Protean, it can OHKO or dent slower Pokemon like Greninja and opposing Meowscarada (since im pretty sure meow gets ohkoed maybe the examples should be reordered to match "ohko or dent"). Play Rough allows Meowscarada to threaten Dark-, Dragon-, Dark-, and Fighting-types such as Walking Wake, Dragapult, Roaring Moon, Dragonite, Roaring Moon, (to make lists match) and Iron Valiant. Trick allows Meowscarada to cripple walls such as Tera Fairy Garganacl, Amoonguss, and Toxapex. A Jolly nature ensures that Meowscarada can outspeed the aforementioned boosted Pokemon. (since "aforementioned" in the first sentence, you might just want to give some examples again so the reader isnt lost) Tera Grass removes Meowscarada's Dark-type Dark typing, removing eliminating (to avoid removes / removing repetition, feel free to choose a different word) its weakness to Mach Punch from Breloom and Pawmot. Tera Fairy grants Meowscarada not only a resistance to Fighting (RC) but it also keeps Meowscarada's its resistance to Sucker Punch. Tera Dark keeps its resistance to Sucker Punch while also being able to resist Shadow Sneak from Ceruledge. (i feel like dark is run less for defensive benefits and more for offensive ones so talk about those instead of type charting when base meow alr resists sucker) Terastalizing Meowscarada also blocks Protean's effects, giving it both a consistent defensive typing and STAB moves.

Choice Scarf Meowscarada fits best on various offensive teams. It appreciates entry hazard support from Garchomp and Ting-Lu, (AC) since Meowscarada's Speed and coverage can force many switches. (saying it fits on offense then listing ting-lu feels kinda off) They Hazards can also break the Focus Sash of users like Hisuian Zoroark, Ceruledge, and Breloom for Meowscarada to knock them out easier more easily. When it's not Meowscarada isn't running Play Rough, it can struggle against Walking Wake, Iron Valiant, and Dragonite. Hence, Pokemon that can check them such as Water Absorb Clodsire, Tera Fairy Garganacl, and Dondozo make for good teammates. (again idk about clod/dozo offense - might be worth amending the teasm it fits on) Clodsire can handle Walking Wake, Tera Fairy Garganacl can handle Iron Valiant, and Dondozo walls Dragonite. Despite its Meowscarada's coverage options, it finds itself struggling to break past walls like Amoonguss and Corviknight, as well as against offensive Pokemon like Iron Moth and Volcarona.
