Huh. Was this meant to be a Magikarp family "rfake" at first?
What tier it goes in aside, I find that Skeledirge's best quality is that it is the only Pokemon with Unaware + Will-O-Wisp. It has enough physical defenses where it has enough bulk to tank quite a bit of physical punishment. The more I thought about it, the typing is honestly a design-choice to prevent something of this nature from being really stupid, as the amount of physical bulk it has, combined with the Will-O-Wisp + Slack Off option, allow Skeledirge to cripple certain offensive or even defensive threats.
I don't think its role is to target fast opponents (H-Typhlosion is that 'mon), I think its better versus slower opponents, or opponents that would loathe getting burnt or put into an unfavorable position by its moveset and presence.
Tbh I can't respond to this, as I myself didn't manage to beat 5 star ones and gave up after a bit.
The only reference I can have is the ability patch drop screenshot that was provided
You can see Ability Patch, exp candies, crafting materials, EV feathers and tera shards in it.
High level TMs however can actually be found scattered on ground every now and then. That includes stuff like Thunderbolt or Earthquake.

Yeah, the very first thing I've seen in that infamously named 4Channer stream was him getting the Flash Cannon TM.
Sounds like you can get some really good moves early as long as you know what you're doing, but it might be hard to craft more without the appropriate drops from stronger mons.
I really like what we know of the TM system so far. Farming materials isn't much of a hassle because of Let's Go either. It just seems excellently tuned as far as I can tell.

Considering that Mycelium Might is the last indexed ability, it seems even more likely that Toedscool and Toedscruel were finalized late in development.Edit: if OKA refers to the japanese word for hill, then it seems to imply the Gyarados rfake would have been a hill-burrowing Ground-type pokémon. So still would have been a thematic counterpart to Wiglett, a Water pokémon that has a lookalike that lives on land.
Edit2: Maybe Earth Eater was designed with Okagyarados in mind first? It is the ability right before Mycelium Might in the ability index

Was it ever confirmed if Ability Patches could revert back to regular abilities? I love the thought of using Virtual Console mons without bad Hidden Abilities. And anything on Hyper Training down to 0 IVs?
That is why I said it'll likely be a thing in VGC/doubles, but just a gimmick or mid-tier banned pokemon in smogon.
Supportive movepool is amazing, but its powerlevel is nowhere what's required for OU, and honestly maybe not even UU considering that, in true FSG scenario, this gen UU may end up resembling gen 8 OU
That's why I said Super Fang / Hazard Removal. You can't just casually yawn and send in whatever you want to tank its hits with a random steel tank. It will Super Fang you or U-Turn away into something after boosting itself in singles. It is pretty good at creating momentum.

Do we know if “Oka” is meaningful in any way? Like if it’s a word in Japanese?
Any news on the EV berries/auction mechanics to try and farm those? The game has so many QoL stuff and then they decide to lock berries with RNG.
Well, berries tecnically aren't "locked" anywhere, you can still find them on the ground.
Bit of RNG involved but going around picking up everything does get you EV-reducing berries.
The market seem to just provide ludicrous quantities at same time, possibly on a rotating roster (pending confirmation)
While looking at the other names just to see what they were called I noticed another oddity
As posted earlier all the paradoxes except for Roaring Moon & Iron Valiant (which are AAAAA and BBBB respectively) are A/B (A for Scarlet, B for Violet)+ Their normal version's japanese name (generally the romanization used earlier in the list)
So the Volcaronas are like this

Koori is "Ice". So while the other paradoxes had a firm idea going into it, it seems like Delibird as the "ice" Paradox was decided later.

I mean a reliable way to get them to train EVs.
Looks like closing and changing the switch date does change the items on the auctions, but im at 5 resets now and no berries, so it would probably take some time.
Cetitan is the same way. Oka means uhhh it looks like something like Hill or Knoll or Rising Ground. Something like that
SO i guess maybe more accurate to say something like "land whale" and "land gyarados/magikarp"
I mean if training EV is the issue, you can literally just buy medicines for them o.o

So we see the dummied out Suicune and Virizion here, which is to be expected given that what we know. We can also infer from the list two other things:
- The Paradoxes for Salamence and Gallade were late additions to the game, given that they didn't get completed internal names. They were likely added once they decided to hold back Suicune and Virizion for DLC.
- The Delibird paradox was originally only conceived as an Ice-type Paradox (Kori is Ice). Late in development was it decided to be based on Delibird as its internal name was never updated.
Im talking about the berries my friend, so any pokemon with unwanted evs cant be trainned :(
