Hey everyone! As you may or may not already know, the Scavengers room is a long-standing public room on Pokémon Showdown! Created long ago, the room focuses on Scavenger Hunts, short and engaging trivia games that test the user's knowledge and searching skills in a variety of question types. In particular, the room focuses on Official Hunts, which award points to the finishers. Official hunts are led by the Room Owners and Mods.

Official Hunts award points to the five highest placing users; first place earns 20 points, second place 15 points, third place 10, fourth place 5, and fifth place 1. Any user that finishes within 1 minute of the hunt's starting will earn 10 extra BLITZ points.

Every month, users will compete in Official Hunts to gain points on a ladder hosted here; the top players from each month will be recorded and receive special mentions in future ladders and the room itself. Each of the top 3 placers will also receive a nomination for room voice.

February ladder twist: if the 1st place finisher finishes in less than half of the time of the 2nd place finisher, they get 5 extra points.

1) This is the only Pokemon Keira is known to have in the games

Hey, I know q3 had some problems with watt the scientist and joules not being strictly electricity related, but he was still the only character that came close to the criteria besides the aforementioned watt.

Q1: In HeartGold & SoulSilver, what Pokémon will mimic the player when it is the walking Pokémon in Copycat’s house?
Q2: This Pokémon TCG card has a rather unusual request: that the player throw the card.
Q3: There is an evolutionary line with two stages plus a Mega Pokémon. These three Pokemon have 7 different abilities amongst them. What is the base evolutionary form of this line?

This was a fun hunt, even though it was over way faster than i thought it would be. Thanks to ashiemore for hosting and qc'ing, Instant Apple Pie for quality checking as well, and thank you to everyone who came for my birthday official! n_n

Apparently an official question similar to Q3 was used in a past official hunt. It probably would've been harder if that weren't the case, since some people may or may not have recognized it. Oh well.

Holy fuck people had a hard time with this hunt. q1 I basically had to give away towards the end once everyone was hopelessly spamming answers based on the more basic hints I gave and TCG questions are always hard af. I'm still happy with the questions but I'll try to keep things easier and try to get a better feel for hint giving. Hopefully y'all enjoyed and didn't get too angry at me ^^`

Also shoutouts to ashiemore, Queez, and (partially) ILRB for qcing, ashiemore for hosting, and Rhythms for allegedly having the answer for q3 right as we ended the hunt~

Q1: In Unova’s horoscope, all months have an associated item except for one. Instead of an item, what are trainers born in this month recommended to keep with them?
Q2: This type of tile's Secret Power animation can be that of an increased or decreased priority move, depending on the generation it is used in.
Q3: Aside from Bubble and Bubble Beam, every instance of this move being used in the anime has involved the user releasing bubbles.
