Pokémon Scizor

Is Fury Cutter viable on Scizor on banded sets?
First hit is 90bp
Second hit is 120bp
Third hit is 240bp
Sounds pretty terrifying

tera steel scizor can 2hko chi-yu with BP, so its not a switch-in

no it is not, good luck surviving after 1 hit, theres a reason why ppl run u-turn instead

Scizor is in a unique position to potentially compress a few roles into 1 Pokémon. I've been toying around with the idea of running a super bulky Defog set, but it would definitely need the right support since it doesn't have Roost anymore.

I haven't figured out EVs yet, but the general idea is Leftovers or HDB with max HP, enough Attack to KO/revenge kill certain threats before and after 1 SD, a little bit of speed to pivot past Skeledirge, and a bunch of Defense or Special Defense. The moves would be Bullet Punch, U-Turn, Defog, and Swords Dance. It can function as a late-game cleaner/pseudo-sweeper, revenge killer, defogger, and slow pivot.

Losing the immediate power of CB and losing moves like Close Combat and Thief really hurts this set, as does the lack of Roost (R.I.P.), but I think it may end up being a viable alternative for teams that need role compression.
