A little late but I still wanted to get the stats out! Ogerpon-Wellspring stays at the top with 10 more uses than Chien-pao! We have a seen a decline in Wellspring usage though with Sinischa actually catching on a lot, being on half the teams last week! A lot of pokemon are having a pretty strong tournament so far with Gouging Fire, Okidogi, Roaring Moon, Iron hands, Ghondengo and Incineroar all having 10+ uses and over a 60% win rate. Iron Hands specifically is making a come back as a top meta choice after the Okidogi incident of week 1, where it now has a 71% win rate and is tied for 5th in usage! Sinistcha is also in this group with 12 uses overall while losing only 4 of those games, making it one of the best Pokemon to bring too. Its interesting to see just how strong its utility has been in these games, being able to heal, redirect, set up Trick Room, lower opposing Pokemon's stats or even do damage in some cases. Orthworm gets its first loss of the tournament but it was against itself so we don't count that. Besides that everything else is slowly evening out, with Chien-Pao and Landorus-I only slightly still on fraud watch. I'd say the biggest shocks for downfalls would be Rillaboom with only 5 usages and only winning one of those games, and Chi-yu who still sits at only 4 uses and all of them are losses. Should be interesting to see if the up and coming Pokemon stay winning, or if the meta shifts more and we see new faces take over.

SV DOU: sir jelloton vs SEA- Jumping straight into it, I actually think both of these players are quite close in skill and this should be a fun match to watch. HOWEVER if anyone saw the Eragon broadcast of jello vs nails last week (#sub2eragon) they would know I was very critical of the machine’s load last week. tldr: loading a team your teammate is associated with in your SCL debut is definitely not the move. Bluntly, the prep has not been there for them all season. Meanwhile, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that SEA has had the best builder support / prep in the tournament thus far, leading me to believe quite heavily in SEA this week. 35/65

SV DOU: Ann vs Feyy- the power of friendship :3

SV DOU: zee vs Schister- not sure what a PU player is doing in DOU but regardless Schister gets is SCL (DOU) this week against a white hot zee. There’s just no world where I can bolt against Zee here. They’ve looked dominant just about every game they’ve played and have momentum behind them. Schister, on the other hand, has been the driving force behind the Spartan’s builder and has been playing quite well in recent side PLs but I’m not sure how that’ll hold up here. Truthfully I’m expecting a player gap and builder gap here, prove me wrong Schister. 70/30

SV DOU: EternalSnowman vs MADARAAAA- Both players coming off a loss against the top 2 in the pool atm, esm’s was probably better played than Madara’s, and generally I just have more faith in esm right now. Not sure what’s left to be said about these two that hasnt been said yet, to be honest 61-39

SV DOU: Nails vs bagel- Bagel looked strong in the esm game, nails looked (not as) strong in the jello game. Feeling bagel is wayyy more tapped into SV right now, but there’s always the chance of nails just popping off 42-58

Hasayo has gone missing in Wild Zone 8 :v4: im on my way to save him so low effort post (and these games are boring)

SV DOU: sir jelloton vs SEA - 45/55
rough jelloton debut. misclick aside he seemed pretty unaware of how to disrupt nails' sequences. personally was hoping to see him reset tr to throw off the encore timing. sea also did not look pretty last week. bad clicks to start and couldn't fully bring it back. i was told sea is winning tho and her team is actually in the tournament.

SV DOU: avarice vs Feyy - lets go foxes/fuck the islanders
many are saying that this is the week of the golden foxes.

SV DOU: zee vs Schister - 90/10
it would be incredibly funny if schister won this game. part of me deep down hopes he does, sorry zee. i will not be predicting him to tho. zee has remained near flawless in their games and im very sure they won't want the x-0 to end now. im sure schister will be very motivated but idt it will produce a dub here.

SV DOU: EternalSnowman vs MADARAAAA - 60/40
esm has been pretty good this season, unsurprisingly! madara been pretty bad but better than how he started the tour. still not seeing consistent form from madaraaaaaaa and he just loaded sand so yeah picking esm.

SV DOU: Nails vs bagel - 43/57
nails won last week and finally actually went back to bringing the hasayo prep im assuming. that game was garbage. he played most of it pretty well and then it got unnecessarily close but its ok he won. bagel also won but in a better game I M O and has shown better form this season. nails can certainly win and may even have the prep edge if hasayo is dialed and he listens, gotta back bagel now tho.

MADARAAAA vs Nails - 40/60: nails has been more impressive so far, both players have had anything but consistent seasons so far but both also have it in them to pull out very strong performances, going to be an interesintg match tht I really want to catch live (for that matter everyone schedule with gmt+11 time in mind or face my mild disappointment)

bagel vs sir jelloton - 55/45: bagel would be looking for a comeback after last week's tight loss, jello looking to replicate their win vs sea, both would come into this with a lot of motivation, and both are very strong players, this match is going to be tight and I feel in the end won in the builder, comes down to who can prep better and for me that's bagel.

Akaru Kokuyo vs EternalSnowman - 45/55: both extremely experienced and decorated players that I have the utmost respect for, that being said akaru's performances haven't been quite convicncing to me so far, so I'm leaning for esm (even if they neither have been that amazing). That being said I'd love for akaru to prove me wrong and have no doubt they could.

Feyy vs zee - 50/50: the two strongest players of the season squaring off in what can only be match of the century (no pressure but a lot of pressure). zee has had an insanely strong season, 7-0 with almost flawless performances throughout, but that being said feyy's last 5 weeks have been utter insanity. and feyy has something to prove here, they could end zee's flawless run and cap off a truly amazing season, and thus they are going to be very committed to going all in on this match. Same goes for zee tho, and scl 8-0 is someyhing 99% of players can only dream of. so both are going all in, and this is a real coinflip for me, zee has had the better play but I feel feyy has the slight more motivation.

SEA
vs Ann - 60/40: SEA hasn't been the most consistent so far but Ann's season has been disappointing, I hope they can pull something out for this final week and this is bound to be an entertaining game but I gotta route for my goat, no matter how scary they may be.

exciting week and looking forward to catching any games I can, sorry for glaze
