Smogon Champions League is a team-based tournament where 10 team managers draft their team from a pool of players and duke it out in 8 current generation metagames for nine weeks to make it to playoffs, where the top four teams face off to determine the winning team and to claim the green trophy.

SCL VI Hosting Team – goldmason, Ticken, Murphy Lawden, Zac, Nashrock, zoe

A reminder of rulings that hold true for this edition, and some new ones:

  • Managers are allowed up to two (2) assistant Manager.
  • Teams are only allowed three (3) retained players from last year's SCL.
  • Retention rights may not be traded.
  • Players may not be traded at any point.
  • Midseason signups are restricted to people that signed up for the original auction.
  • The minimum number of players in a team is 14.
  • The maximum number of players in a team is 20.
  • There will be a severe penalty for any team that picks up a known alt of a banned player, or any player masquerading as another person to lower their cost in the auction. This has not been a big issue in the past, but it is important to establish that both parties will be penalized immediately and harshly if they are found doing so.

Player sign-ups will go up at the same time as or shortly after this commencement thread is made. When a prospective player signs up, they are expected to also note which tiers they are interested in playing during the tournament. In order to ensure the best possible experience for yourself, the managers, and your team, please do NOT sign up for any tier you are unwilling to play. If you would not seriously consider playing that tier in a tournament environment, do not list it. The tiers you put down in your signup are binding for almost the entire tournament, but they will also affect how your prospective manager sees you, and as such they should be as accurate to your skillset as possible. Don't make dumb joke posts about playing tiers you do not care for.

Retain rules:

As stated above, only three retains per team are allowed this year. You may not retain more than three, though you may retain less or no players at all if you wish.

The cost to retain a player on their first year as a retention will be the HIGHER of the following two scenarios (unchanged from last year):
  1. the amount that the player went for in the last auction + 3k (ex. if Aeolus was bought for 13k, it would cost 16k to retain him)
  2. 10k, if the previous price + 3k would end up being lower than 10k (ex. if Jackal was bought for 6k, his retaining cost would be 10k, not 9k)
Remember that a player bought for under 10k during last year's auction will not necessarily cost just 10k to retain. If Luigi was bought for 9k in last year's auction, he would cost 12k to retain this year, not 10k.

The cost to retain a player that was already retained in the last SCL will be dependent on how many times they have been retained. The fee being raised by +3k with each subsequent retention (ex. if Hogg was retained for 16k last SCL , it would cost 22k to retain him in this one, and 31k to retain him in the next one).

The tier lineup this year is as follows:
  • SV OU
  • SV OU
  • SV OU
  • SV Ubers
  • SV DOU
  • SV UU
  • SV RU
  • SV NU
  • SV PU
  • SV LC

Tournaments Rules and General Guidelines

General SCL Rules & Regulations

The General Manager of a team is essentially the boss of a team. The GM is the final word in all decisions (barring the hosts) regarding his team. The GM decides which players play on the team, who plays in what position, and even handles the team finances. Managers also make sure that the team keeps running on a day to day basis. If a team fails to complete their matches by the end of the allotted time, the onus is on the manager to inform the hosts as to what happened in order to make sure that proper activity calls are made.

Because of these responsibilities, The General Manager is probably the most important part of the team. As such, the position of GM is not one to be taken lightly.

  • General Managers are not eligible to play in the Smogon Champions League. You can either play or manage, not both.
  • General Managers are chosen largely on a subjective opinion of the Tournament Directors as to who they believe would be fit for the position. Being fit for the position includes the knowledge of excellent battlers in the community (for fielding a competent team), having above average activity on the forums, Pokémon Showdown and/or Discord (in order to ensure that you don’t abandon your team), as well as possessing a necessary amount of “gravitas” (If you can’t make a player do what you tell them to, such as play an undesirable metagame, you’re not going to make a good manager).

General Managers are required to acquire two Assistant Managers. The Tournament Director team can veto the selection of an assistant manager, but will not require the General Manager to choose any particular user as their Assistant Manager. The assistant managers are essentially the second in commands for the team. They have almost all of the functions and roles as the General Manager does, the GM just trumps them in head-to-head decisions.

Lastly, the General Manager has the following duties:
  • They shall choose two Assistant Managers.
  • They shall make the hosts aware of any player retentions by the time player signups close (48 hours prior to the start of the auction).
  • They shall be present at the live auction, or appoint someone (preferably either Assistant Managers or a retained player if both AMs are unavailable) to participate in the live auction in their stead.
  • They shall send the hosts weekly lineups.
  • They shall ensure to the best of their abilities that their battlers complete their matches on time.
  • In the event that a match fails to be completed, they shall inform the hosts as to why the match failed to be completed, and what his/her battler did in order to finish the match.
  • They shall communicate any grievances with the hosts.
All players must sign up if they wish to play in the Smogon Champions League, even those who will eventually be retained to their past teams. It is important to note that the Smogon Champions League is an 11 week event and that the activity level of a player is significant. Do not sign up to play for a team if you do not intend to see the tournament through to the end. This includes maintaining a competitive attitude if your team is already eliminated from playoff contention. You never know whether or not winning your end-season matches will make you a more valued player next season, so even if your team isn’t necessarily in the playoff picture anymore, there’s always value in playing your best. Failure to complete matches in a timely manner consistently may result in being barred from entering the Smogon Champions League in future seasons.

For the duration of SCL's regular season and playoffs, players are not allowed to play in the tiers listed as "NOT played" in their signups post. They will only be allowed to play those tiers in tiebreakers. We will be enforcing this rule for ALL players, regardless of price tag.

Players that are retained will be locked into the same tiers that they were locked in the year prior. Players retained for a second year in a row will not be locked and can play any tier.

The sign-up list will then be taken and sorted into appropriate lists for each of the 8 metagames. These lists will then be used by managers for the auction.
Total money for teams is 140,000 credits. There will be no holdover on extra credits from previous years - everyone starts with a blank slate and 140k.

In the weeks preceding the live auction, a time will be chosen by all of the General Managers to meet and perform a live auction in order to choose players. Managers will be expected to remain at the auction for the entire duration, which should take approximately 2-3 hours. If a General Manager cannot, for some reason, find any feasible time that he can attend a Live Auction, then the Assistant Managers will be called upon to fill in the spot. If no Manager can fill the spot for the Live Auction… then a new General Manager + Assistant Managers who can find time to make a live auction will be found to replace the old ones.

Once a time is set, all 10 managers + the hosts will enter the place where the auction will be held - likely the Smogtours server. Spectators are allowed to join in to watch the fun unfold, but will not be able to speak. Discussion on the bidding at hand should be relegated to the SCL chatroom or any other appropriate chat outlet.

The hosts will first ask a team to nominate a player. The order by which teams will nominate players will go in a snaking pattern from the highest ranked team from last year to the lowest ranked team, then the lowest ranked team to the highest ranked team. The hosts will then tell the details of said player and bidding will commence, starting at 3000 credits, with the nominating team automatically placing the first bid. The auction will then be in real time. Managers will simply put in their bids in the chat, raising a minimum of 500 credits. If after 15 seconds there are no new bids, the player is sold to the highest bid in the channel. The hosts or utilized bot will provide a 5 second warning before bidding is closed on a player. The updated credit totals will then be posted and then the next manager in the rotation will be prompted to nominate a player.

Managers are advised that placed bids are final, and we will generally not permit an undo in the case of a mistake. Exceptions can be made in cases where a team nominates an incorrect player or if a typo in a bid amount would threaten the integrity of the team as a whole. Please make sure to double check your bids before sending them!

Managers are asked to please have a predetermined list of players you intend to nominate as well as potential bid caps, in order to make the process go as quickly and seamlessly as possible.

Managers: it is necessary for you to field a roster of 10 starters and a minimum of 4 substitutes, with a maximum of 10 substitutes being allowed, of which all must be bought with at least 3000 credits. This creates a soft cap of 101,000 credits on any particular bid - that is, the maximum amount of money you can spend on any one player and still have enough money left over to pay at least 3000 credits a piece on 13 more players.
It is at this time that the tournament will commence. The league stages consist of a Round Robin tournament. Every team will face every other team once through 9 weeks of play. Each manager will submit to the hosts a roster no later than the deadline of the previous week. This roster will list the starting players and what metagames they will play.

When the week starts, teams' players will face off in their respective metagames / tiers. The SV OU 1 from Team A will face the SV OU 1 from team B, SV OU 2 will face SV OU 2, and so on. Whichever team wins the most battles will be declared the victor for the week. Rather than score based on how many individual battles a team wins, the primary thing that matters is who beat the most teams. As such, points are awarded based only on wins and losses versus teams as a whole, not individual players. Beating a team in a week’s matchups is worth two points, tying with a team is worth one point, and losing is worth none, simple as that. At the end of the round robin, the top four teams in the points proceed to the playoffs and will be seeded into a knock-out style bracket where they will face off until only one team remains.

There are a few regulatory things during the league stages that need to be outlined.

  1. Substitutes – At any point in time during the week, a team may make a substitution for a currently slotted player. In order to do this a manager must post in the thread, tagging the hosts, the opposing managers and the opposing player stating which player is substituting out, and which player is substituting in. A player that has substituted out for a week cannot be substituted back in. In addition, all substitutions are subject to veto by the hosts if the substitution is suspected to be attempting to “game” the system. Substituting in a player who is unavailable to play at any of the times the opposing team has previously offered in order to force a double substitution is not permitted and the player who was substituted in will be required to be substituted out.
  2. There will be no trades allowed at any point during SCL.
  3. Activity decisions – There are inevitably times where two players simply fail to complete a match; however, the nature of the tournament system sometimes makes it advantageous to purposely fail to play (such as when a team is up 6-5 in a week). Because of this, it is necessary to make activity decisions on matches. Hosts are required to make thorough investigations regarding each and every potential failed match during a week. If both parties are deemed to be equally apathetic or enthusiastic about getting the match done, but just have not had the opportunity to make it happen, the match will result in a no contest. However, if it is deemed that one party made significantly more effort than the other in attempting to get the match done, then a win will be awarded to that player. Things that will make it very likely that you will lose via activity include: failing to VM your opponent immediately upon the week’s start, scheduling a match and being documented as missing the match time, failing to provide any concrete times for which you can be reached, failing to respond to an opponent’s VM at all. Please be certain to review the guidelines for a favorable judgement in an activity decision. Note that this is a tournament that requires a very high level of activity and diligence, if you don’t think you can get your matches done, quite simply don’t sign up.
  4. Rule Breaking – There is no excuse for breaking any of the predetermined rules. If you are caught breaking a rule, you will lose your match. There is no lenience with regards to this. Break a rule, you lose. Period.
  5. Reversing Rulings - No ruling will be retroactively overturned once the week following the week that the ruling has been made has ended. This includes: activity rulings / rulings based on rule breaking / anything else under the sun. I'm not going back in time to reevaluate every single decision I've made throughout the tournament on Week 9 because you think you were robbed 1-2 wins along the way and now they're the difference between you and a playoff spot. Any appeals to a ruling must be made during the week that the ruling is made; beyond that, all rulings are final once the week ends.
  6. Recreations – Under some circumstances, generally due to a true disconnection, the host team may determine that a game must be recreated. Ideally, this recreation will take place immediately, but if the completion of the game needs to be rescheduled then a host or tournament director will recreate the game with the same players at a later time. Neither player may be substituted out for the recreation, but otherwise standard rules for activity decisions will apply.
  7. Changes to Tiers - Standard practice is that any changes to a tier that happen after a week is posted, e.g. suspect test or council bans, new Pokemon releases, or standard tiering shifts, will not go into effect until the following week. Any exceptions to this will be announced by the host in the administrative decisions thread.
Sellbacks
Up until week 5, managers will have the opportunity to report players that they believe are not meeting minimum activity requirements and/or sabotaging their team to the hosts. The hosts will review the team situation, and if it is found that the player in question is indeed guilty of one or both, the team will be allowed to sell them back. Reports made on team quitters after the end of Week 5 will not be evaluated until the conclusion of the tournament, with the exception of cases of cheating or team leaking/sabotage. Players who are banned from the Smogon Forums for a duration longer than the rest of the tournament and players who are banned from tournaments for actions unrelated to Smogon Champions League will also be eligible for a sellback.

If a player is sold back, their team may select a single replacement player from the pool of undrafted players. These players may only begin playing the week after they are selected.

Teams who sell back players before the start of Week 1 will be reimbursed with credits equal to 1.5k+half of that player's retention cost or value in the auction. These credits may be used prior to the start of Week 1 on undrafted players who signed up, and players selected will be eligible to play starting in Week 1.
At the end of the league stages, there will be a knockout style playoffs involving the top 4 teams in the points. In the event of a tie in overall points standings, the following criteria is used for breaking ties.
  • Overall Points >
  • Battle Difference (total # battles won - total # battles lost) >
  • Best of 3 - each team picks a unique tier with the winner of the Head to Head matchup during the regular season picking second, and SV OU being the 3rd game. In the event that the two teams tied in the Head to Head matchup, the team with better results against the higher seeds will pick second.
  • Note: a Best of 3 series shall only be used to determine whether or not a team will qualify for playoffs. To just determine seeding among the top 4 teams, the result of the Head to Head matchup during regular season shall be used as the third tiebreak, with a B03 series being offered as a final alternative if teams are tied in every other element.
After the top 4 have been determined, each team will be seeded. The #1 seed will play the #4 seed, and the #2 seed will play the #3 seed. Teams will battle in the same format as during the league stage. At the end of all 10 battles, the team with more wins will advance to finals.

In the case of a tie in playoffs, the advancing team will be decided by a best of three - each team picks a unique tier with the higher seed picking second, then SV OU is the 3rd game.
The tournament will progress in this format until there is only one team left standing, the champion of the Smogon Champions League.

Hey all, I wanted to get in there before all of the commotion and talk about some "new" DOU talent that all managers should be doing their homework on ahead of the draft. I don't think ill be covering the people who've played this tour before (with one exception because hes amazing), but I wanted to highlight some names managers may not be as familiar with in the DOU space.

Code - He was a rising star last year during the SCL times and since then has won two DOU individual tours, won Doubles World Cup on US South (and was an integral part of that win), gone 7-1 in the premier Smogon VGC team tour NPA, and won TWO lower tier doubles circuits, in the form of the Natdex DOU and DUU circuits. This guy is an extremely talented clicker, but what draws me to him the most is his ability to lock in on prep. As someone who's now been exposed to what it takes to successfully prep in this tournament, I feel confident saying Code has it.

KCric - Those familiar in the draft space should know him, but he's had a meteoric rise in DOU this past year, with the current best (mono) SV DOU record in Doubles Premier League and a top 16 finish in OSDT. Extremely talented clicker, definitely game for this tour if he signs up.

Terekusai - I've had the opportunity to team with Tere a few times now, most recently we won Doubles Derby together (multi-tier x-0 retain btw). Tere has been in the upper echelon of the DOU scene for about two years now, consistently performing well in doubles team tours and individuals alike. He also currently tops the DPL sheet as the only undefeated player left in the tournament this year, definitely someone worthy of a scout.

Hasayo - My exception. Hasayo has obviously been on this stage before (last year as a manager and I don't pretend to know beyond that), but I really couldn't make this post without including him. He gave me my "Welcome to SCL" moment in prep last year (https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen9doublesou-871643) and in my humble opinion has one of the best prep minds in current gen DOU. If I were to start this year, Hasayo would be my #1 support ask.

Bunch of super talented people I didnt talk about here ofc, but just wanted to give a select few the spotlight. gl hf and all that :)

I want to give some additional shoutouts to some players Mike missed.

Givrix is a tenured Doubles player who's really had a breakout year, starting with a win over EternalSnowman in doubles world cup pools and proceeding to have a phenomenal second-place finish in the newly revamped OSDT, which has cut a lot of the bloat it had in previous years by shifting to the Smogon Masters format.

Givrix is currently 5-1 in Doubles Premier League under the team I am managing, Storms, and has been a fantastic presence. He has consistently self-scouted before I even look at his slot, consistently practices and prepped with team passes and has had unflinchingly controlled gameplay in his battles. He's been a great chat presence as well, and has taken gameplay feedback gracefully when I've needed to give it. I highly recommend managers scout givrix for support or as a backup starter, he's been everything I could have wanted in DPL and I don't think he's dropping the ball any time soon.

breakfast enjoyer Is a newer face who has absolutely shredded the doubles teamtour scene last year. 3-0 in doubles world cup pools, and going 7-1 in DPL 11. They've performed well in other tournaments such as winning Last Chance Qualifier for Doubles Circuit but took a break after going 2-3 in derby after facing a tough SCL mainstay lineup of Nails, Eragon and Akaru. Still, they've shown strong capabilities in the builder and in battle, willingly taking on the strongest opponents the format has to offer and challenging them with strong team choices and apt gameplay.

As for mikes shoutouts I would also vouch for the strength of every player he named

Hi, I haven't been playing much pokemon but am casually picking it up again. I'm happy to play (literally) any tier this scl but i'd like to practice it a little beforehand. Managers are encouraged to reach out to me whenever if they want me for a specific tier & I can practice a bit before signing up/locking stuff out. Thanks ^~^

im basically a really good natdex player
(natdex in spl/scl)
but im amazing at sv ou too
nd has the best clickers of any metagame and we are so underground like esdee kid
(blacked out like a phantom)
so if you want to bid me Managers are encouraged to reach out to me whenever if they want me for a specific tier & I can practice a bit before signing up/locking stuff out.

Hey guys, wanted to just do a PSA to encourage everyone to NOT do shoutout posts. I've spent a lot of time researching these pools and players this year and don't want yall giving away all my secrets. Make these guys work a little bit. My DMs are open if you would like somewhere to send your shoutout posts. Thank you for your cooperation.

I'm 70% sure that I'm not playing this tournament, but I want to support a team.

I also have recommendations.

Kafkafka - I have seen Kafkafka play many subforum team tournaments, but the one that made me a believer is LCPL. For context, I managed the most recent LCPL and my team struggled a lot in general. I wasn't familiar with Kafkafka's skill, so I only slotted Kafkafka in during the middle of the season. I also passed teams to Kafkafka, but the team matchups were consistently bad. In spite of this, Kafkafka went 3-0 against good players. To me, this is a strong indicator that Kafkafka will be a winning player in most tiers, especially with competent support or in tiers where Kafkafka is more knowledgeable about.

I don't have as much context for the rest, but these are people who managers should talk to if they sign up.

SammyCe123 - SammyCe123 came out of seemingly nowhere and had an incredible LCPL against a tough schedule. If they sign up for SCL, I suggest that managers talk to them.

reggg - reggg is really good in all the LC oldgens and there's not a large difference between them and sv.

dcae - the reports of dcae being washed were greatly exaggerated.

JuanSG - I hate playing against Juan because he always wins vs me. He's consistent in LC team tournaments and I see him as a starter. He does tilt though.

fate1q - got to the semifinals of LC open, this player is definitely on the up. If you want a LC sub who can both play and support, consider drafting fate1q. (Edit: I was sent inaccurate info here, got to semis not finals)

Skyiew and zS are good at LC, so this will be a bad price tank if attempted.

Why should you draft me ?

I went 5-1 in OUFL in SV and SS (shoutouts Supa and glass shadows my goats), won OMCL this year with the heart takes (my goats) going 3-1 in Fortemons (tier i'd never played before), won AGWL with the Kraken Kyogres (shoutouts to my goat Pokemh) going 5-3, reached finals of OMPL goint 4-0 in STABmons against arguably the 4 best players of the pool in a tier I also had never played before. I was building my own teams for all of these, so if anything I can be drafted as building support and I'm able to quickly grasp how to build for metas even if I haven't played them before.

Didn't have a deep OST run but I did manage to take out wcop player patatexv in the first round (sorry pata mans gotta try to get drafted somehow)

I also have 2 successful and majorly influential SV OU RMTs that both reached a peak of 2K+ and changed the meta forever (no cap, always factual)

I have hella motivation as well so I'll be really active every week and can even help other slots while prepping for my own.

Lastly I'm probably going for 3k so you can get yourself that cheap cheap value :)

Ah

nu people that i think have potential to do big things and some who could do small things:

Shadow079: Some people have accused him of being a nepo baby, others have said he's the industry plant of NU. Both of those are probably true, but he's also the most promising rising star of new gen NU talent. He has great individual runs under his belt (NULT Finals, NU Seasonal Finals earlier this year) and consistent performances in NUPL and NUCL. He can build his own teams and isn't a one trick pony, which will serve him well in a tour like SCL, and overall a very nice and enjoyable person to become friends with. Pick shadow if you want someone chill that can keep up with anyone in the pool, is self sufficient, and will overall just be a positive presence in your teamcord.

Dr. Phd. BJ: IMO bj's last two scls havent been reflective of his talent, and moreso have been a result of poor team choices which I feel he has improved upon quite a bit since last year. I've played a lot of matches with him and feel that he has a better grasp of the current meta and is pushing it forward in ways that many others aren't. I also feel that in terms of play he's much less likely to throw or choke away a lead than his less-experienced contemparies, which could be crucial in a pool like this which I predict will have a lot more fresh faces compared to prior years.

brick: Brick is Shengineer's disciple and one of the most active people in the tier when it comes to grinding out teams and games. He's a little more fresh than others and doesn't boast the resume of the bigger fish in the pool, but I believe he's definitely worth picking up for 3k, whether as a cheap starter (partnered with someone that can support or step in if things go poorly) or support (I'd consider him a respectable enough sub for RU-PU). If you're willing to give him a chance, you'll be buying someone highly motivated, super in touch with the intricacies of the meta, and perhaps 2026's answer to 2025gineer.

Diamonds_realm: Realm has been around NU for a good while now and frankly should have been starting last year. He's quite consistent (21-15 on the NU sheet, mostly in CG against SV1-2 slot players) and has a ton of strong performances in circuit individuals as well. He's also someone that is able to push the envelope in the builder, often excelling at making counter-style based stall and HO teams that can catch people off guard, especially in a bo1. I think Realm has the potential to finish in the top half of this NU pool and imo he's the steadiest player in terms of executing gamae plans without throwing from anyone I've mentioned so far. Just make sure he puts the knockless spiritomb stall in the garbage where it belongs.

HAVOCKNIGHT: #1 on the NU Sheet for 2026 so far with an impressive 13-4 record. I haven't paid super close attention to the games but I know he played some pretty strong opponents in NUPL, and I have respect for havocknights fundamentals having played them in other tiers.

Ruffles: After unsuccessfully larping as a PU mainer for 2 weeks, ruffles finally dropped the act and admitted that NU is his favorite tier. He's got his classic ruffles style of building which translates well here, and he's proven during Slam that he has what it takes to enter the NU pool and do very well. I'd expect a strong run from him here, as long as he gets in touch with his statistics professor before the tour starts.

Ninja: Ninja is a quiet presence but shouldn't be underestimated. He's taken down some big names in NU, has SCL experience under his belt (defending champion in fact), and has been around Smogon since 2009, before certain users on this list were even born. I think he could be a pretty good pick to fill out the last few slots of the NU pool and would struggle to imagine him getting less than 3 wins.

milliongatejumpguy: Newer player who has had some quite strong individual performances this year and can often be found at the top of the ladder trying out unorthodox builds and styles. I like mgjg's aggressive playstyle and I think they have a high ceiling if they can find the right balance between pushing the envelope while still making functional builds. Basically, please start using Steel-types or you're going to get spammed by Sylveons and Florges. Dark horse to look out for nonetheless.

OranBerryBlissey10: OBB had a tough introduction to SCL last year after being decimated by Inteleon, and he also tried to call act in the NU Implicational, which should prob disqualify him from SCL entirely. However, he has been around for a while and can have a high ceiling when he's locked in. He's also seen some success in WCOP, nabbing some nice sheet wins for himself over the years, so it would be foolish to rule him out as a contender to start. I'd also note that he's been playing a lot more CG this year compared to prior years which is a benefit to his chances. Just bring some water resists (share them with shengineer too) so ya'll dont get hydro pumped into the next galaxy week after week like Certain Folks last year who I wont name.

Tuthur: Most people know tuth as a PR thread lolcow (not my words). I know him as someone who sometimes gets "stuffs" on his fingers after using the bathroom. On an unrelated note, tuth has a pretty good NU tour sheet (30-22) which looks more impressive when you consider that he has had some of the hardest opponent lineups of anyone in the tier in NUPL and NUCL. He's also someone that I think matches the level of play of the person he's facing, so he rarely gets blown away in a landslide. I think his last season can be attributed to a mixture of nerves from a first-timer (most people on the site can relate to this) and a lack of team support with some dysfunctional elements coming into play. It's not a reflection of him as a player, and I think that this SCL if given the chance, he will prove that he belongs to be in the conversation with the Shengineers, Dannys, and Elias Psys of the tier. He also beat tier in the recent NU Implicational, being one of the only underdogs to score a win against a gatekeeper in r1. Dont judge him off one SCL (though he even managed to pull off a win against Ho3n, #2 on the PRs), he has big things to offer if you give him a Chansey.

Honorable mentions that I could see being respectable 3ks if they sign up: Rabia, Regiboob, 5MGMatthew5, Bernardo.

People that could NU but are likely better off / prefer another tier: DugZa, big tony 2014, Thiago Nunes, Hacker.

For tryouts you can contact me on discord: atraxmadara (or elodinbugers, togkey)
Profiles that we would love to hear from:
- You are an experienced and active player but want to get drafted by an active team

- You are a newer player that has ladder and/or tour results that you can share

- You are a familiar face in the community, you think your game stepped but people ignores it and u want to pop off

- You are a big Dua Lipa fan

nu people that i think have potential to do big things and some who could do small things:

Accepting most unsolicited advice about who the best players are and why we should draft your friends.

Additionally, if you are the next coming of CTC and will build 250 teams an hour this is also a desired skill.

hi the UPL sheet is down but I remember some players from their performances and wanted to write smth quick for managers and others interested. Not including players who've been in SCL before because they're known for what they can do.

ox04 :reshiram: - really strong showing in UPL this year with a 5-3 (5-3 with a fair bit of unluckiness as well), he is very flexible in the builder and needs very little support. also, he has played officials before, as seen in WCOP, so less susceptible to nerves

Hoennseptile :zekrom: - has supported multiple players in SCL over the last three years, really knows Ubers well but can flex to support OU/LC. Had a solid 5-2 record with a variety of structures used, supported various Slam players over the years too.

Kunvirgo :calyrex-shadow: - i don't actually know a ton about them. but they put up a 5-1 (or 5-2?) record against a pretty strong set of players, won AG Circuit, and are generally regarded as a strong player.

Jojen :gholdengo: - Had a 4-4 record in this UPL but built a ton of teams this UPL for all 4 sv slots and played vs a strong pool. he would pair very well with a clicker and can support and build for UU/RU too

I know Colin already gave his couple cents, but SammyCe123 deserves another one. When SammyCe123 joined Team Nordics back in the days, he came in as a relatively unknown name from OMs. I honestly don't think he's had a bad season with us. No matter what tier we've thrown him into, he's put in the work and delivered. His performances in official WCoP only reinforced how consistently strong he is. Many would argue his pool to be overall the toughest out of all as well.

On top of that, Sammy is just an incredible teammate. He fully embraces the Swedish stereotype of being the nicest person you'll meet. One final warning though to future managers: be prepared for pannu. Those two are basically inseparable, and having Pannu around our server has honestly been one of the driving forces behind Sammy (and other way around). The Swedish duo just doesn't miss and keep things flying left and right. But for real, having Pannu around is worth as a player or invited to hangaround. He is solid at the game and understands any tier extremely well.

Other Team Europe / Nordics picks that you should keep an eye on are eifo (this is no surprise), Eeveeto (long time off-meta enthuastic that is willing to put in the work) and Fille (LC grinder that everyone should know at this point already). I know this latter part was moreso known people, but still worth a shoutout as they have been doing incredibly well where ever I have seen them.

e: Oh my, almost forgot ox04. They were amazing top to bottom and were able to show the growth as player just like as person. You should definitely consider them for Ubers
