Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
In this PetMod, people are able to submit a wishlist for a fakemon. Then those wishlists get randomly distributed among other submitters, who then have to create the fakemons. Submitting a wishlist will have to follow a prompt set each slate to keep the submissions close to each other in terms of quality and potential. Sign-Ups and fakemon submissions will be done in Google Polls and submissions will be done in Discord. This is mainly for comfort for me and the council and allows us to better move in between slates and give better feedback.
All submitters submit their wishlist on Google Polls. Let's say that the theme of the slate is a "Powerful ability and move combination".
Person A: Wants a Technician + Storm Throw Pokemon
Person B: Wants a custom ability that works well with wind based attacks
Person C: Wants a Sniper + Wicked Blow/Surging Strikes Pokemon that has no STABs on that move(s)
Person D: Wants a combination of two status-related abilities (Toxic Boost and Quick Feet for example) to go alongside with non-STAB Facade
Person E: Wants a Toxic Chain pokemon with STAB multihit moves
Now after everyone has submitted their wishlist, I randomly distributed them.
Person A gets the wishlist of Person D's wishlist, Person B gets Person C's wishlist, Person C gets Person E's wishlist, Person D gets Person A's wishlist and Person gets Person B's wishlist. These people now create fakemons based on the wishlists. After a certain amount of time, these fakemons will be posted on the thread revealing who submitted the wishlist and who made the fakemon for it.
Your wishlist has to follow the prompt, see example above. We try to keep the prompt as loosely defined as possible to allow a bigger variety of submissions. If you have any questions, the Council can be asked to clarify them.
You can also add flavour things to your sub, if you have a specific idea in mind. If you go with the "Person C" idea (Sniper with non-STAB Surging Strikes and Wicked Blow), you can request that Pokemon to be an alternate forme or regional variant of Intelleon.
As a fakemon creator, you have to add specific elements to your submission to make the Pokemon functional.
Name
Typing
Stats
Weight
Movepools
Potential Prevolutions/Evolutions
The wishlist can help in some cases, but in case of the movepool, the Council and other members of the submission process can help you with movepool creations, but after the slate ends. A basic movepool will do the trick though.
Some other thing that I wanted to mention is that custom elements are allowed and they can be part of the wishlist or fakemon creation. This mod is Gen 9 so dexit exists. However, for the sake of variety, I will allow to create clones of dexit moves.
Wishlist submissions last for 3-4 days and creating fakemons last 5-7 days, although this phase ends earlier when all fakemons are done.
Alright, the survey system should be good to go. Let's start with the mod
Slate 1: Unused/Unterutilised type
Starting off relatively simple. You may wish for a fakemon with a type combination that either is not represented or on relatively few Pokemon. You can request flavour content, such as concept, moves, abilities, names, relationship to exisiting Pokemon and so on. When you create your wishlist, make sure to join the discord server, due to submission creation taking place there.
The thread will be open for discussion and suggestions for future slates, but please ask questions centering around submissions in the discord.
Wishlist submissions will last 2-3 days, shortened or extended depending on the amount of wish lists.
Submit here: https://forms.gle/tndeybmTWsPmKkUh8
I'll keep sign-ups open for one more day mizukkitaliyeet please join the discord server to participate in the fakemon creation. If you don't, you cannot participate in this slate.
All the others participants have joined the discord server and have received dedicated channels
Wisher: Double Iron Bash Wish: Normal/Steel / Should have the move Double Iron Bash Santa: Samtendo09
Name: Alloyinda Type: Abilities: Own Tempo / Tangled Feet | Scrappy (HA) Stats: 180 / 90 / 60 / 60 / 90 / 60 (540) Weight: 50 kg Flavour: Evolution of Spinda
Fun fact: It brings the 360 BST based on 360 motion into 540 (360 plus 180), Attack and Special Defense going from 60 to 90, and base HP tripled from 60 to 180 (60 -> 120 -> 180), also 180 is half of 360.
This Pokémon would want to be a physical attacker, but can’t have a custom Electric-type move nor signature of another Pokémon. (UNLESS you make this Pokémon an evolution or variant of an existing one that already have a signature move, i.e. Morpeko or Toxtricity, which then they can keep it.)
TIP: Attacking Abilities like Galvanize, Sharpness, and Guts / Toxic Boost, or Defensive ones like Regenerator and Fur Coat can help make up for a lack of viable Electric-type physical move.
Santa: anaconja
Name: Eelektross-Hisui Type: Abilities: Strong Jaw Stats: 105 / 115 / 70 / 70 / 105 / 50 (515) Weight: 60.5 kg (Height: 2.1 m) Flavour: Regional Variant of Eelekross
Wisher: Bekama Wish: Electric/Ghost / could be part of a legendary trio (existing or new one) Santa: PileOfTrubbish
Name: Guan-De Type: Abilities: Crown Of Ruin (Active Pokemon without this Ability have their Speed multiplied by 0.75) Stats: 105 / 90 / 80 / 120 / 80 / 75 (555) Weight: 54 kg Flavour: This is the evil king from the treasures of ruin storyline, it acts as a fifth member, turning the treasures of ruin into a quintet. It's a ghost type instead of dark, since instead of being the malice and negative emotions of the objects turning into pokemon, this is instead the king's lingering spirit turning into a pokemon with the crown. This is also why it doesn't learn ruination.
Wisher: War Incarnate Wish: Fire/Ground / Should be an offensive Pokemon (special attacking) and should have Dry Skin as an ability Santa: Double Iron Bash
Numel movepool + Weather Ball, Morning Sun, Solar Beam, MYCAMEL*
MYCAMEL: Fire, Status , 8 PP, Effect: Raises SpA, SpD, and Spe by one stage. If Sun is active, raise each by two stages.
Wisher: PalpitoadChamp Wish: Poison/Flying / It should have Illusion. It can have other abilities but Illusion should not be overshadowed Santa: Auctoria
Wisher: Auctoria Wish: Dragon/Fairy / Should have a decently strong attack that is guaranteed to raise a stat similar to Torch Song or Aqua Step Santa: taliyeet
Wisher: taliyeet Wish: Fairy/Dragon / A food-based Pokemon like Alcremie, Vanilluxe, Appletun, etc. Santa: Vishy fishy
Name: Drampa-Santian Type: Abilities: Regenerator | Silky (When hit by a contact move scatters Sticky Webs) (HA) Stats: 88 / 50 / 75 / 125 / 111 / 36 (485) Weight: Flavour: an alternate version of drampa based on dragons beard. Its beard grow longer than a regular drampas, and tastes sweet, with little crunchy gems. After being eaten, the beard regenerates almost always in less than 2 days.
Name: Drampa-Santian-Mega Type: Abilities: Rocky Payload Stats: 80 / 75 / 100 / 150 / 136 / 36 (585) Weight: Flavour: Mega drampa is decorated with many gems, which it hurts at enemies. They also taste delicious.
I will create a spreadsheet and code this slate later, but in the meanwhile, I will start the next slate.
Slate 2: Love for Pokemon
In this slate, you can wish for special treatment for a specific Pokemon, provided this Pokemon does not have special treatment already. Special treatment in this case being an evolution, alternate forme, regional forme, convergent evolution, paradox forme and mega evolution. If a Pokemon does not have something like this, you can ask for it. You can also ask for straight buffs and changes to a Pokemon, if you like to.
The thread will be open for discussion about the previous slate and suggestions for future slates.
Wishlist submissions will last 2-3 days, shortened or extended depending on the amount of wish lists.
Submit here: https://forms.gle/7cxMhxNTqujv1nHt6
The submission phase will last 7 days but will close sooner when every fakemon is done. If someone needs more time, let me know.
Furthermore, I will open a secondary slate here on the thread. This secondary slate will focus on completing previous winners. Mostly when it comes to movepools. You can submit movepools and additions to the previous fakemons. Furthermore, some mons are missing weights so you can submit that too.
With Smogon not working yesterday, I'll do this post now.
First of all, Slate 1 is implemented on DH2! It was 2-3 days ago, but the server had issues so the builder couldn't be updated.
I was hoping that we get some movepool suggestions, but oh well. Guess I'll make some. Alloyinda: Slack Off
Reason: I think that our only Steel-type should be able to check the many offensive threats of this tier. Sure, it is really early on but I think a solid backbone in the early days of a meta should exist.
Driftia: Earthquake, High Horsepower
Reason: I think Athanaga () is one of the best mons in the tier, based on theory. I think having a physical Ground STAB should help it seperate from Athanaga.
Eelektross-Hisui: Swords Dance, Coil and/or Bulk Up
Reason: I think the lack of set-up was intentional, but set-up could be really good for it. Currently, there aren't good physically defensive Grounds, but I can spoil that we will get some really interesting Pokemon next slate, so this is a preemptive buff for the next slate.
Kinderdron: Horn Leech, Power Whip, Swords Dance
Reason: There was a complaint that this mon does not get good Grass STAB and that the lack of such a move would hinter its intented purpose of wall-/stallbreaking. I gave it recovery with Horn Leech or power with Power Whip while SD helps breaking.
Lastly for movepools, I want to establish a "Universal Moves" collection. I've seen a sub that has "Universal Moves" listed in the movepool additions, but I left that out since there isn't a clear list of universal moves in Gen 9. Thus, I want to establish a list that can be used for future subs.
Universal Moves: Protect, Subsitute, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Rest, Sleep Talk, Attract, Facade, Endure
I will keep discussions for movepools open up until the end of Slate 3, meaning additions for Slate 2 Pokemon will be allowed once they are revealed. Hopefully, you feel inclined to make your own suggestions.
Last but not least, I'm still looking for council members that help me with submissions and slates. Council Member roles in this mod will be different though, since they cannot really participate in any slate, without defeating the purpose of keeping surprises. Council Members can still participate in a slate, but for that slate, they won't be acting as a Council Member, unless we find a different solution to that.

As the designer of the mon, I am against SD as it already gets Fire Lash to directly boost offensive output and there is more than one way to make a stallbreaker than just giving it SD. I'm also against Horn Leech as it already has recovery in Synthesis and that feels extremely unflavorful. Power Whip is fine. You can add that.
Alloyinda: Slack Off

Weren't some people already complaining this got Wish? I haven't seen any replays nor played any games, but steels with recovery are immediately dangerous if they have bulk to back it up.
Driftia: Earthquake, High Horsepower
Reason: I think Athanaga () is one of the best mons in the tier, based on theory. I think having a physical Ground STAB should help it seperate from Athanaga.
It already has Stomping Tantrum, which may be considered weaker. I think it fits better into the concept to not get EQ or High Horsepower. Since it wants to run low accuracy moves, Stomping Tantrum can easily get powered up if one misses. I would rather find a different way to buff it, if it actually ends up needing it.

Sunny Day and Rain Dance are not Universal Moves and never have been? At least in Gen 9, Attract is also not a Universal move. You also missed Tera Blast. I'd also mention that most Pokemon get Hyper Beam and Giga Impact.
Samtendo09 wished for...
An evolution to an existing Ice-type Pokemon!
Must keep the Ice-type; cannot be given to a third stage Pokémon (i.e. Vanilluxe), nor those that already has a Mega Evolution (i.e. Glalie + Froslass); anything goes otherwise, as long as the result is balanced for the metagame
Methridium wished for...
A Paradox forme for Vespiquen
Type: Abilities: Protosynthesis Stats: 105 / 95 / 147 / 69 / 81 / 73 (510) Weight: 20.7 kg Flavour: Ancient bees that live in the tooth cavities of skeletons.
Scavenging Bite: Bug, Physical, 20 BP, 100% Acc, 10 PP, If the opposing Pokemon has more current HP than the user, heals the user by 1/3 of their max HP. If the opposing Pokemon has more stat boosts than the user, raises the user's Def and SpD by 1. If the opposing Pokemon is faster than the user, this gets +70 BP.
Type: Abilities: Corrosion / Sticky Hold | Innards Out (HA) Stats: 130 / 60 / 60 / 100 / 60 / 73 (483) Weight: 126.7 kg Flavour: The result of a devastating biohazard spill from Aether Foundation, this Trubbish has a ring of poisoned water orbiting it, with garbage floating through it.
Based on Garbodor's movepool:
-Body Press, Explosion, Pain Split, Seed Bomb, Giga Drain
+Biohazard Blast*, Hydro Pump, Surf, Muddy Water, Flip Turn, Aqua Ring, Chilling Water, Rain Dance, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Whirlpool, Recover, Aqua Ring
Arctovish but I want it to transform ramnaroks alternate form with ramnaroks move, and Meloettas alternate form with meloettas move. (Ramnarok is from CAP)Additional Request
PalpitoadChamp wished for...
A Mega Evolution for Tropius!
Type: Abilities: Mega Sol Stats: 99 / 112 / 103 / 68 / 87 / 91 (560) Weight: 118 kg Height: 2.3 m Flavour: Tropius, through the power of mega evolution, awakens its draconic powers, harnessing the power of the sun. Santa: PileOfTrubbsih
Type: Abilities: Neuroforce Stats: 80 / 82 / 78 / 135 / 110 / 115 (600) Weight: 46 kg Flavour: Golduck's psychic powers have been expanded with the power of Mega Evolution, giving it the ability to tap into the spirit world, which it uses to deliver powerful attacks that strike directly at the opponent's spirit. However, this overwhelming power broke the gem on Golduck's head, causing its body to leak with raw, psychic power and a mysterious third eye to appear in place of that gem. If Golduck focuses long enough, it may even be able to directly manipulate the minds and memories of its foes.
For now, I will not open Slate 3 and instead I wanna go back to all submissions and "complete" them. By that I mean that we finish movepools and add other things like Weight, Names or Designs.
I will start Slate 3 soon-ish though, so don't worry the wait won't be long.
I wanted to talk about the mod a bit. Last slate I saw that I needed to do some changes. First on me, I wasn't really active during last slate, mostly because of university and work but also personal interests in other things. Due to that I was unable to take care of the submitters and the done. However, even with time, I would've been really leniant with the subs. I was going to comment on the submitter's creations but since I was already late on everything, I just wanted to finish the slate without doing proper quality control.
The quality of the submissions is also something that bothered me, but like I said, with me being late, I didn't comment on anything. This disatisfaction on my side influenced by decision to no immediately start Slate 3 and appearently the lack of quality really bothered a lot more people. Therefore, I decided to be more harsh on submissions and give them proper feedback. This is something I wanted to do anyway, but now it is essential. Furthermore, I want to reform the entire system the mod operates on. I don't know how to approach this, but I'll come up with something to improve the whole process.
This means that Slate 3 won't be covering any wishes. Instead I want to do a different idea. I thought about doing such slates before the mod was approved but I thought that the idea didn't fit the mod. However with the current affair of things, I decided to make Slate 3 this scrapped idea while figuring out how to back on course for Slate 4.
I once again apologize for the entire fiasco. I could've managed this whole situation better, but I didn't. I will look forward to improve the upcoming slates.
In the meanwhile, I will open Slate 3 with the scrapped idea. I also once again ask for Council applications, so that this mod has more than one mind to manage things.
Slate 3: The Secret Slate
For this slate, you can pick one Pokemon for each of the UU, NU and ZU tier, respectively. For what you may ask? You will know once Fakemon creation starts. This will be a blind slate, where the prompt isn't revealed until wishlists are submitted in. Once Fakemon creation starts, all the prompts and rules will be revealed. All I can say is that the Pokemon you choose matter and creation will be based on what Pokemon you subbed in.
Once again, this will not be a constant throughout the mod. This is mainly so I can focus on reforming the mod's system. Depending on how well this experimental slate goes, I might do a few more.
Wishlist submissions will last 2-3 days, shortened or extended depending on the amount of wish lists.
