Seismitoad [QC 0/3]

Overview
########
  • Godly defensive typing coupled with water absorb.
  • Has a very odd movepool coupled with some great support options.
  • Destroyed by grass types.
  • Has balanced stats to the point of nearly being a jack of all trades but master of none.
  • Having no physical water stab or ice beam really hurts it's offensive capabilities.

Moves
========
  • Stealth Rock is one of the main cruxes of defensive seismitoad.
  • Scald allows you to fish (harharhar) for burns against many physical attackers.
  • Knock off lets seismitoad stop passive recovery from leftovers firepower from life orb etc.
  • Toxic allows you to cripple walls like porygon 2 although knock off already cripples it.
  • Refresh can be used to shake off a toxic.
  • Rest while it might be more appealing then refresh the two turns of sleep aren't really desirable.

Set Details
========
  • Leftovers allow seismitoad to have constant recovery.
  • The evs allow seismitoad to be as bulkily mixed as possible while maintaining a leftovers number for hp.
  • A relaxed nature allows Seismitoad to increase it's defense while not losing power to scald or earthquake.
  • Chesto berry can be used if running rest.

Usage Tips
========
  • Bring it in against a water type such as suicune preferably crocune for a health boost.
  • Can be used as a lead because of having access to stealth rock.
  • Avoid knock off as much as possible as seismitoad is deadweight without leftovers that is unless your running rest.

Team Options
========
  • Pokemon that can beat grass types such as heracross, victini, and noivern.
  • Pokemon that really like having a water absorber such as darmanitan, aerodactyl, or houndoom.
  • Wish support is optimal from pokemon such as florges and umbreon in addition they both eliminate toxic from seismitoad.
Other Options
########
  • Grass knot to fully check the water types your walling.
  • Rain dance for more support.
  • Substitute Toxic to bypass status moves and a lot of our counters.
  • Sludge bomb to beat some grass types.
  • Aqua ring for additional passive recovery.


Checks & Counters
########
  • Lots of grass types namely virizion, celebi, and trevenant.
  • Opposing water immune mons such as gastrodon and poliwrath.
  • A special mention goes to toxicroak as it is immune to scald and resists knock off while threatening it by potentially setting up a bulk up or swords dance however despises an earthquake.
  • Bulky waters such a alomomola however crippled by subtoxic.

I don't know if defensive sets are viable because the only thing over pert is Water Absorb but two observations:
-i don't see EQ
-Physically Defensive is better with that typing
-Be sure to mention that swampert is almost always superior

I think the only set that should be used in uu is some kind of offensive swift swim set. It is the only swimmer immune to electric which is very important as it counters Megaman and electric types and one of the two with Stealth Rock.
Sludge Wave is also pretty cool

No idea why I put specially defensive when I use physically defensive lol but swampert is not superior in all ways by any means as it doesn't knock off or water absorb which are two of seismitoad's selling points also I'm hesitant to add the ss sweeper set albeit in a tier with fire spam but I want to let qc weigh in.

Have to do all the caps work in here :/, 200 hp evs gives u leftie number. Might want to add offensive rain dance set cause its the only swift swimmer immune to electric moves iirc.
