ORAS OU Serperior has Contrary. Let's do this.

I THINK I BUILT A GOOD TEAM THIS TIME GUYS

Did I?

I think I did.

This may be a little too early, I'm not sure, but I'm putting it here anyway. Let's jump right in.

Reference (Serperior) @ Life Orb
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Pulse
- Glare
- Synthesis

Yesssssssss I can finally use it's Hidden Ability. I've waited so long. Alright, in-depth description of this monster. Leaf Storm is a necessity for the Special Attack raise with every use. Switch in on a Sticky Web? Get a Speed boost. Switch in on a Defog? Evasion boost holy crap. This ability turned Serperior upside down with how good it was. Get it.....? Because....that's what Contrary does....? *cough*
Dragon Pulse is there for a secondary attack that doesn't have 8 PP, and Synthesis for obvious healing. Glare is thrown in for the ability to Paralyze M-Sceptile, which otherwise couldn't be paralyzed, and other mons that are Electric/Ground/Grass. The main Special attacker and wallbreaker.

Azumarill_XY.gif

Azumarill @ Expert Belt
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Superpower
- Waterfall

I'd like to be able to change up my moves without using Belly Drum, thanks. Expert Belt does that rather well in my opinion. Physical attacking monstrosity. A faster than usual Azumarill, because why not? What harm is there? Idk. You tell me. Play Rough is the Fairy STAB, Waterfall is the Water STAB with Aqua Jet for priority, then Superpower for coverage. Kill all o dem Ferrothornzes dat be wallin ye stabs. Decent uninvested bulk as well.

Gengar_XY.gif

Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Shadow Ball
- Giga Drain
- Focus Blast

ADD 175 SPEED TO A POKEMON WITH SPEED AT 350 ALREADY AND IT'S GONNA BE FREAKING FAST. Maybe too fast. Nah. Decent secondary special attacker that hits things Serperior can't. Like Steel types. Focus Blast em. Sludge Bomb and Shadow Ball are decent STABs, and Giga Drain(GIGA DRAIN????) is good coverage AND does some healing stuff. Is this Serperior's ghost? Probably not. Just wanted to end with something.

Skarmory_XY.gif

M-Rayquaza Counter (Skarmory) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Roar
- Stealth Rock
- Substitute

This actually is a Mega Rayquaza counter. How often do you see Flamethrower and/or Thunderbolt? Not often enough. Moving on, just a Stealth Rock Skarmory that likes to Substitute and Roar the team around, messing the opponent's strategy up. Brave Bird so I'm not taunt bait, and Leftovers instead of Red Card so I can heal. Bam. A wall was born.

Mega-Tyranitar_XY.gif

Tyranitar @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Pursuit

Main physical attacker of the team. Not much wants to stay in on this, thus Pursuit. Dragon Dance is set up, then Earthquake and Stone Edge the rest of the team. Only a few things can actually stand up to it and deal significant damage(Hint hint: Fighting types) while surviving well enough themselves. Absolute threat and has won me many games. Last member coming up.

92eace3f.gif

Mandibuzz (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Foul Play
- Knock Off
- Roost

Defogger. Main use and does a good job with it despite being Flying type. Overcoat is the go-to ability to not be Spore'd, worn down by weather, etc. Knock Off is there to mess with items and Foul Play punishes the Physical attackers hard. Roost of course is for fast and reliable healing.

So I've taken the good points from my last two RMTs, along with some comments, and I combined them into what I believe to be a great team. But I still need Raters to see if it can be better. Thank you for your help. :3

You probably want to put a hidden power on your serperior. It's not exactly a wall breaker right now as any common counter, such as heatran, can easily switch in on leaf storm and proceed to threaten you. HP fire and ground are the two most common. If you don't want hidden power please at least explain why synthesis/glare is more useful.

Not saying you're wrong about Hidden Power, but Synthesis is very useful for healing, while Glare gets the paralysis on everything, and in doing so slows down threats and has a chance of stopping them completely.

Hidden Power is a good option though, maybe I'll make a duplicate team with that as the only difference. XD

That skarmory set sucks...substitute really? Replace it with spikes cause sub isn't going to really help you. At least I'm not the only one that uses scarf gengar....why not add modest to gengar since it is fast already and it can hit harder. Expert belt really? Give azumarril a assault vest to take hits better or belly drum sitrus set you choose. Max speed on azu? Should be max hp.

I agree with AV Azumarill, maybe Choice Band, and replacing Sub with a different move (I'd say Roost because you need the sustainability and you have Defog so it's clearly not a hazard-stacking team), but leave Gengar Timid. Another not on Skarm, run just max HP max Def, I'm not sure what your current EV spread allows for besides... walling Mega Rayquaza (wtf).
Glare is an interesting use of Serp's piss-shallow movepool, but you can do better, like HP Fire for those Scizors and Ferros that try to wall you and whatnot, that'll probably come in more handy anyway.
There's also very little need to run max speed on Azu since she's slow as all hell. The harm with a faster than usual Azu is that it's typically wasted speed and at a speed tier that low you might as well just run a more bulky offensive set. If you want to switch up your moves then run AV with EVs: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 SpD, or Band for raw power with EVs: 228 HP / 252 Atk / 28 Spe.
Replace Pursuit with Crunch. Your T-Tar being a set-up sweeper has more use for directly offensive moves designed for cleaning up more than trapping Latis. Imo, you'd rather use that forced switch to set up above anything else so Crunch would be a better option. Run Jolly as well.
Lastly... I generally don't really understand what your team is trying to be. Mega T-Tar is best used for rather Sand oriented teams (which are few and far beween) but none of your mons really take advantage of the Sand, no Sand Rust Exca, nothing. Skarm and Mandi, Skarm especially seem like very very passive additions to a what would otherwise be a very offensive team, the don't mix well at all honestly. Sorry, but this bunch doesn't really convince me.

Personally I think superior has a different role from other grass types, which it does very well. The problem is when you go too far in that direction because serperior should be serperior to shine :). Just my opinion of serperior though. I do agree with the previous poster-dragon dance and pursuit are both moves you use when predicting a switch and pursuit is not a good move for sweeping. Crunch better on dd tar.

Hey man, You can try this set:

serperior.gif

Serperior @ Life Orb
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe or EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe ( Gives extra bulky and Contrary Leaf Storm already gives a good Special Attack)
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Substitute
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Dragon Pulse

PS: Nice team :)

I think this Skarmory set is far better:

Skarmory @ Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Stealth Rock
- Brave Bird

Shed Shell because Magnezone is freaking everywhere, plus it's fun switching out to an electric resistance/immunity in it's face.
