This is an other metagame idea that I had for Gen 3. Same rules as Gen 3 OU, but players are restricted to only Pokemon they can obtain in Fire Red and Leaf Green without trading with other Gen 3 games. More specifically, it is Gen 3 OU with only the following Pokemon additionally banned:
Johto starter lines
Hoothoot line
Chinchou line
Mareep line
Sudowoodo
Aipom
Sunkern line
Girafarig
Gligar
Snubull line
Pineco line
Shuckle
Teddiursa line
Corsola
Houndour line
Stantler
Smeargle
Miltank
All Pokemon in the Pokedex from number 251 onwards
As a corollary, and also to save me (and everyone else) a huge amount of time, moves and items exclusive to other Gen 3 games will be allowed, as I am only banning the specified Pokemon. The only exceptions to this are Espeon and Umbreon, which will be allowed.

Tournament format will be single elimination.

Deadline is next Sunday. Replays are mandatory.​
