IN DEPTH LOOK:

registeel.png

REGISTEEL
Item: Leftovers
Type: STEEL
Ability: Clear Body
Nature: Careful (+SpD, -SpA)
EVs: 252HP/100Atk/156SpD
Moveset:
Thunder Wave
Stealth Rock
Iron Head
Earthquake

This Lead is a very good lead for all Tiers, not just UU. With this Registeel you want to open off with paralyzing your opponent with Thunder Wave. After paralyzing set up Stealth Rock. If your opponent keeps a pokemon out thats paralyzed take advantage of the opportunity and try para flinchiing your opponent with Iron Head. I would highly recommend saving this pokemon for later in the game, as Registeel can help wall certain moves that other pokemon in this team are weak to.

Registeel is weak to FIRE, GROUND, and FIGHTING type moves. For Registeel's FIRE weakness you should switch to either VAPOREON or FLYGON. Registeel's GROUND weakness is best answered by ZAPDOS and FLYGON, but you can also use SHAYMIN only if you see an opening to sub seed your opponent effectively. Registeel's FIGHTING weakness should be countered by ZAPDOS.

vaporeon.png

VAPOREON
Item: Leftovers
Type: WATER
Ability: Water Absorb
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
EVs:188HP/252Def/68SpD
Moveset:
Wish
Protect
Surf
Hidden Power [ELETRIC]

Thanks to Vaporeons massive HP stat he can easily wall any sweeper, Physical or Special based. I decided to put the remaining 68EVs into Special Defense because i really didnt see why Vaporeon should have Speed EVs, and besides it helps Vaporeon's walling capabilities. normally Vaporeon counters Hetrans as I've seen numerous Heatrans. HP eletric is to OHKO Gyarados which can be very helpful in stopping a Gyarados sweep.

Vaporeon's weaknesses are ELETRIC and GRASS attacks. For Vaporeon's ELETRIC weakness you should switch to FLYGON or you can switch to SHAYMIN if you can set up a sub seeding opportunity. For Vaporeon's GRASS weakness you should switch to either REGISTEEL, SHAYMIN, JIRACHI, or ZAPDOS.

shaymin.png

SHAYMIN
Item: Leftovers
Type: GRASS
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
EVs:252HP/6SpA/252Spe
Moveset:
Substitute
Leech Seed
Seed Flare
Hidden Power [FIRE]

This shaymin is very good at setting up on any wall. Shaymin can create a lot of problems for Blissey as her Seismic Toss cant break Shaymins Substitute of 101Hp. Skarmorys will have a hard time with Shaymins Hidden power type, and HP fire OHKO's Adamant Scizors (252Atk/252Spe). Seed Flare easily 2HKO's Vaporeon's and Suicunes. Not to mention a simple OHKO on swamperts.

Shaymins weaknesses are Fire, ICE, BUG, POISON, and FLYING. For Shaymin's FIRE weakness you can switch to either VAPOREON or FLYGON. ICE should be answered by REGISTEEL, VAPOREON, or JIRACHI. Shaymin's BUG weakness should be met by REGISTEEL or ZAPDOS. POISON is easily answerd by REGISTEEL and JIRACHI. Shaymin's FLYING weakness should be answered by REGISTEEL, ZAPDOS, or JIRACHI.

zapdos.png

ZAPDOS
Item: Leftovers
Type: ELETRIC/FLYING
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
EVs:252HP/252Def/6Spe
Moveset:
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power [ICE]
Heat Wave
Roost

Zapdos is by far my favorite Bulky wall. This set gives you 384HP and 294Def. this Zapdos is very good at walling Scizors and Brelooms. i chose Hidden Power [ICE] because Shaymins already equipped with a Grass attack, and most people like sending Dragons out against Zapdos.

Zapdos' weaknesses are ICE and ROCK. ICE is best countered with REGISTEEL, VAPOREON, or JIRACHI. Zapdos' ROCK weakness would be best countered by REGISTEEL or JIRACHI.

flygon.png

FLYGON
Item: Choice Scarf
Type: GROUND/DRAGON
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
EVs:6HP/252Atk/252Spe
Moveset:
Earthquake
Outrage
U-Turn
Stone Edge

I like Flygon for its decent Speed and Attack. Flygon is best for OHKO on Heatrans and Jolteons. This pokemons biggest enemies are Donphans, Mamoswines and Weaviles. Use this pokemon wisely as he can easily be OHKO'd but any pokemon with HP ICE. So i recommend only using his heavy attacks if you are certain of a OHKO, if not be safer then sorry and just U-Turn out.

Flygon's weaknesses are ICE and DRAGON type attacks. For ICEattacks you should switch to REGISTEEL, VAPOREON or JIRACHI. DRAGON type attacks are best handled by REGISTEEL or JIRACHI.

jirachi.png

JIRACHI
Item: Choice Specs
Type: STEEL/PSYCHIC
Ability: Serene Grace
Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
EVs:80HP/252SpA/176Spe
Moveset:
Psychic
Grass Knot
Hidden Power[GROUND]
Trick

This set for Jirachi is ment to criple Blisseys by switching Choice Specs and Leftovers with eachother. If you feel more liek using this Jirachi as a pure sweeper then you can stick to using the Choice Specs to your advantage. I havent really had to use this pokemon to much. But it does pull off a successful 2HKO on a Suicune (1 Calm Mind up) with Grass Knot.

Jirachi is weak to FIRE and GROUND. FIRE is best met by VAPOREON and FLYGON. Jirachi's GROUND weakness should be countered by ZAPDOS, FLYGON or SHAYMIN.

Well thats my team. Thanks for taking the time to look over my pokemon. Please help me out and tell me if you have and better pokemon to fill in for others, or alternate EV spreads, or anything im open to all critisism.

Thanks

I think HP Grass will be alot more useful on Zapdos as Swampert will be free to Ice Beam you and EQ when you are forced to Roost. In addition, he can Roar you to rack up SR damage. Running the current set, he will take laughable damage from HP Ice considering Lefties gain. Considering Swampert is everywhere in OU teams, this would have to get annoying. I know you can go to Jirachi / Shaymin and use one of their grass moves, but doing this means you will be losing 25% of your health every time you come back in due to SR. I have found Roar very useful on Bold Zapdos as well. Discharge can also be a Godsend since almost 1 in 3 attacks can paralyze the opponent. Tbolt isn't going to do much to pokes like Latias anyway, but Paralyzing it can ruin it for the match. Some things to think about.

Having more weaknesses to Fire than resistances is devastating. You have no idea how easy it is for Heatran to get through Vaporeon, if he is also you Gyarados/Infernape counter :P I would consider a Scarf/Trick Starmie over Jirachi. Surf/Thunderbolt/Icebeam has nice coverage, but you still have stab psychic too if need be. I think with Registeel, you can handle the extra bug weakness.

I would use Rest on Shaymin. It combos well with Natural Cure, and lets you come in healthy each time. You don't really need to Subseed stall anything, since the common fire types are faster.

How is it easy for Heatran to get through vaporeon, srsly wtf? And Flygon can also take care of infernape easy, and can still put a heavy dent in Gyarados with Outrage or Stone Edge.

Ok so on to the rate.

I cant see registeel leading in OU, ill use simple words to explain why. Metagross, gets Rocks down and lets out a EQ, i doubt registeels would even 2HKO back anyway. Swampert, you cant do anything here, pert easily gets rocks and potential EQ on something. Infernape: Overheat, Close Combat ....

Cool Shaymin, pokes with that set tend to work well.
Vappy looks cool, but get toxic on their, otherwise blissey will trouble you.
Bulky Zapdos is the shiz, my probs fav pokemon, and i run the same set haha, but the EVs should be 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spe, and HP Ice works better, i know from experience. Also, since your team is rather slow, try using Discharge over tbolt, works wonders with slower teams, and can be very helpful.

Flygon looks ok, nothing wrong there.

IMO change jirachi to a physcial sweeper, because blissey is trouble here. Scizor actually looks perfect here, and with nice synergy with Flygon, would be a devasting offensive core. Try it out.

Good Luck :), and nice team.

Considering a good number of them have Toxic/are Specs doing 50%~ with Overheat along with the fact that Vaporeon is his Infernape counter, not that hard. Wish/Protect is terrible if you've been afflicted with Toxic which is on every non-choiced set. Sure you can wall the Scarfed sets, but everything else you're working a lot harder than you have to keep Vaporeon alive. It looks like it's nice and comfortable on paper, but you'd really be working Vaporeon dry :\

eh this looks like a pretty nice team but you might want a spinner because it looks like you would be switching around a lot, especially with Shaymin. Plus, as a wall, Zapdos probably doesnt like taking 25 percent from stealth rock on the switch.

Regarding the Zapdos spread, straight from the analysis:

Generally, you'll want a defensive Zapdos to have nearly maxed out HP and a ton in either of his defenses. It is important to remember that using 248 HP EVs is more beneficial than fully maximizing HP, since it allows you to switch into Stealth Rock 5 times instead of 4, in addition to reducing damage done by Leech Seed and increment weather.
