I'm still trying to see the bright side. Well, maybe all of the 6IV that I can trade over nothing, since people with Power Save are flooding the market? =/
I don't know if this is still going... but it's kinda interesting to post number of eggs hatched with how many shinies.

Are you using the Destiny Knot in one of the parents? If so, it increases the chance of getting a better amount of IV's. But, in my opinion, the best setup is 6IV + 6IV, with one of them using the Destiny Knot and the other an Everstone. The offspring will come with AT LEAST 5IV.
Yeah, female one holding destiny knot and male one holding everstone.
I'm not sure, I think I'd rather miss out on some IV like SpD than have something useless like attack.
It's my guess that the destiny knot tried to generate the same IV twice, wasting 2/5 of the chances. Then it left the attack IV alone, which was random already. Then it tried to use a different stat twice again. Then it transferred one other stat.

Even with the destiny knot 2 5iv parents will occasionally create a 3 iv pokemon. The reason for this is because the offspring could inherit both of its parents missing ivs, 3 flawless and 1 random. Eg. Male Ralts 31/X/31/31/31/31 and a female Ralts X/31/31/31/31/31, the game will randomly decide which ivs the child will inherit, so if it was to inherit the fathers attack and defence with the mothers hp, sp.def and speed the resulting Ralts would be X/X/31/X/31/31
breeding two 5IV parents guarantees you anything from a 3IV - 6IV pokemon (unless the IVs of the two parents are the exact same - like both missing sp. atk - in which case it'd be a guaranteed 4IV - 6IV)

I've been trying to get a shiny Skrelp with 4 or more perfect IVs - 750 eggs later I have no shiny (perfect IVs or otherwise). So I'll reset my hatch count and record my findings here.
I have the shiny charm and the parents I'm using are:
female English Dragalge (UK region) with 6 perfect IVs - holding an everstone.
male Spanish Tyrantum (region unknown as I got it through a wondertrade) with 5 perfect IVs - holding the destiny knot.
Some people say that the Masuda Method works off region and not language (in which case my SpanishTyrantum might not hit the criteria). Do you guys think this is the case or have I just been really unlucky?
EDIT- Finished my second pledge of 300. 600 hundred total, 1 shiny on the 540th egg yay! Gonna take a break from hatching eggs for a while.

Thanks, yes he does have the SPA tag. Guess I've just been unlucky so far but I've seen people here with over 1000 eggs hatched and no shiny so i guess i'm not the only one.

Ok guys im working on the new spreadsheet but thanx to the area I live in I have absolutely no internet service on my phone at home. So had to stop and now the original sheet has been trolled again so I can't get the formulas :/. Can someone with a computer take it back so I can finish the formulas for the new sheet? I was almost done with them, then just needed to add names and egg updates and it'd be ready for viewing

I did it was the trolled version :/ must have updated itself when I opened it. It's ok though I got on the computer and sent it back
Is this one the untrolled version? I updated the egg counts on page 40 but didn't go back to where all the trolling began. All the formulas are there I believe.
