Shiny Charm and Masuda Method

Laturner, do you happen to have a good 5IV Torchic and a Gastly with Egg Moves (HA for the Torchic)? I want to breed those!

The Torchic I hatched was a complete accident (I hope he didn't hear me say that) so I don't have any extras. Same with the Gengar, I released all of the extras I didn't use so unfortunately, no I don't

egg count: 6185
Shiny: 11
(1002th egg) Kricketot (Pokeball)
(1088th egg) Blitzle (Pokeball)
(2376th egg) Cottonee (Pokeball)
(3340th egg) Eevee (Love Ball)
(3840th egg) Misdreavus (Moon Ball)
(3841th egg) Shuppet (Moon Ball)
(5108th egg) Vulpix (Love Ball)
(5343th egg) Cherubi (Love Ball)
(5410th egg) Mawile (Moon Ball)
(5767th egg) Yamask (Moon Ball)
(6183th egg) Ralts (Love Ball)

I just hatched my 4th shiny (Modest Abra w/ synchronize). My new totals are as follows:
Eggs hatched: 2615
Shinies: 4

However, I hatched a 6 IV Abra, same nature and ability, that I was going to use to hatch more if I hadn't hatched that shiny one, so does anyone want it? I'll give it to the person who has the best offer

Edit: I've been using a 6 IV Ditto to breed shinies (except the pokemon that need egg moves) so would anybody be interested in taking some 6 IV pokemon? that is if I hatch any, they're pretty hard to come by. Again, I would want something in exchange

Start smaller, chances are you'll get a shiny Scyther well before then. I usually do batches of 480 (16 boxes, 4 species of Pokémon, so 4 boxes and 120 eggs each). There's a decent chance one Pokémon of the 480 will be shiny so after that I just pick four more species to breed.

You do 480 at a time? woah, I only do 3 boxes at a time, plus 5 in my party and 5 in another box, so that's 100 at a time

anyway UPDATE

Total eggs hatched: 1700

No new shinies

shinies hatched:

Pinsir @ 795

Fennekin @ 1524

920 eggs

just hatched a shiny mudkip (920th egg)

also that was my first shiny I've ever hatched/caught and I've been trying since gen 2 (minus shiny Gyarados of course so mega happy :D)

current batch

120/500

switching back to getting a pidgy

EDIT

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhIb4pLnCYU4dEFDZVhSQzNEUDJ2VnZZVV9FN255YVE&usp=sharing

just noticed an error on the spreadsheet it should read 0.206% chance for a shiny per egg not 20.64% it looks like the percentage is working it out based on 1 = 100% rather than 100 = 100%

sorry my bad I should of put up the solution at the same time.

change the formula from

=(D2/C2)*100

to

=(D2/C2)

that way it will be 1 = 100%

New member here so if I'm doing anything wrong, do forgive me haha.
If anyone would like to add my results to the spread sheet, that would be great.

Shiny pokemon I've hatched thus far (kept number records):
Moon Ball Vanillite - 3 eggs
Moon Ball Murkrow - 1st one at 596 eggs, 2nd at 958 eggs (aiming for female and prankster, took a break at 1560 eggs)
Love Ball Mawile - 7 eggs
Friend Ball Oddish - 86 eggs
Premier ball Goomy - 1st one at 233 eggs, 2nd at 238 eggs
Love Ball Sentret - 678 eggs (wanted a female so I kept going but grew impatient and stopped at 718 eggs)
Heavy Ball Swinub - 14 eggs

I've hatched a few others as well but I didn't keep tabs on how many they took specifically.
Ironically the ones that hatched very quickly were ones I was just breeding for their pokeball to distribute to others.

My newest and current project is Love Ball Swirlix. I pledge 300 eggs.

I assume you were using the method and have the shiny charm

eggs 2626
shiny 9

change 1:292

that is extremely low compared to what other people are getting. but taking this data is not up to me but I have a feeling we cant.

if we can are you sure this is correct? because we really don't want false or bias data going into the spreadsheet (no offense)

we'll take your next 300 eggs though please report back once all eggs are hatched.

EDIT
---------------------

I think I should make it a little clearly why I think the data might be a bit bias

Moon Ball Vanillite - 3 eggs
Love Ball Mawile - 7 eggs
Heavy Ball Swinub - 14 eggs

With these 3 shinies are you sure you didn't have more eggs to catch afterwards? because you normally get eggs in batches of 5 (assuming your using a single pokemon at the top to help catch)

plus even with hatching power you normally only hatch 2 before your party is full with 5 eggs so the moon ball vanillite should of been egg 3 out of 5 eggs.

same goes for mawile it should of been about 7 out of 10 eggs and swinub 14 out of 15 eggs

so my question is what didn't you do with the other eggs?

Like I said, the ones I listed are specifically when the shiny itself hatched, not a grand total of what hatched, since I thought that might be somewhat helpful.
My total number of eggs hatched since the beginning of the game is 7,392.
I've only listed the ones where I specifically knew the number it took since I used a counter for them. I've had the shiny charm soon after Japan poke bank was released, so I didn't keep tabs on others I've hatched until recently.
I just wanted to help contribute since I MM so much, but I understand that it's best if I just do the grand total I obtained for a shiny.

I will update on swirlix from here on out though haha, so no biggie.

no that's cool all the help is useful and we would all love it but I think your data might be a bit inaccurate since we don't know the full range of eggs you've catched with the masuda method and the shiny charm combined.

another 120 done of current batch 360/500

Total eggs 1160 Shiny 2

Just got my 5 iv shiny sassy Pidgy (missing sp def)

moving back to getting my eevee (with its really long catch time!)

Another 90 done. Morale is slowly going. My last shiny was over 1,700 eggs ago D: Would have thought that would change since getting my shiny charm. Oh well.

Total eggs hatched: 630
Shiny Total: 0

batch complete 500/500

Total eggs 1300 Shiny 2

no shiny eevee.

next pledge is 200 eggs to round me up to 1500.

Once again all eevee eggs
