Shiny Charm and Masuda Method

Wait if I change the parent of the breeding pokemon it counts as resetting the total eggs counted?

As long as it's still masuda method you're fine! Also in reply to your first post, as long as you have the shiny charm and using the masuda method you're fine, providing you pledge a set amount of eggs upfront and don't just stop when you get a shiny.

Sorry its been awhile! Everyones been updated and all new comers have been added! Welcome to the thread and thanx for contributing ^_^

I wish to participate :-) I'll do as many as I can.

I have a Shiny 6IV JPN Ditto
And I'm currently breeding it with: ENG 5IV Froakie.

Current Eggs Hatched: 25
Shinies Found: 0

I'm using a JPN Ditto and ENG for the other Pokemon, I also have the shiny charm.

I've done 600 Charmander eggs and got one shiny somewhere along 400-500 eggs

and I'm currently working on another batch of 600 eggs, this time for Hawlucha.

I will update when I finish the Hawlucha set.
EDIT: egg 401 was a shiny! Unfortunately it has limber instead of unburden OTL

Just use a Ability Capsule on it. Unburden are not HA so it can change

Hi, I'm new to this thread. Before I start, what way does everybody think is the most efficient to hatch eggs.
I think there are two ways to do it. Either you gather five eggs in your party and hatch them, or you fill up a (couple of) box(es) with eggs and then hatch them all in a row.

I personally like to fill up around five boxes and then hatch the eggs.

Update
Eggs hatched : 42766 eggs
Shiny got : 80
Persona ratio: ~1/535
Lasted member: 6IV Jolly Kangaskhan
This is not Masuda, but i just got a timid HP Flying Petilil by chaining DexNav. She got relative superior stat as well. Too good to be true. The only downside is she had her HA, so she can not use combo Petal Dance + Own Tempo

I'd like to contribute some. I'll be hatching 1000 Swirlix eggs with MM and Shiny Charm. I'd like to update every 100 eggs.

So far:

0/100 shinies.
1/200 shinies.

Added and updated! Welcome all new comers. If you need the link for the spreadsheet just look in my signature and you'll find it there. If you can't see signatures let me know and I'll post it ^_^ happy hatching

Just recently got my shiny charm on Ruby. Saved all of my legendaries, so I headed off to Trackless Forest to hunt down a Shiny Raikou. I wanted a Shiny with the three Max IVs in decent places, so I couldn't just stop stop at one shiny. I ended up SR my game about 1700 times (ballpark estimate) to the avail of three shiny thunder dogs. I lead with a Timid Synchronize Abra, who transferred the Timid nature all three times.

Shiny Raikou #1
- 150 SR
- 31/31/31/X/X/X
- Timid

Shiny Raikou #2
- 900 SR
- 31/X/X/31/31/X
- Timid

Shiny Raikou #3 (The Keeper)
- 1700 SR
- 19/10/30/31/31/31
- Timid

My mind is blown. I was breeding some baby Pokemon for completing my Dex on Alpha Sapphire, and out of the blue I hatch a shiny Torchic on the first egg.
Ehm, thanks game?

Edit: It has speed boost as well. Of course I can get this, but the shiny Shroomish I oh so desire still eludes me.

New totals:
Eggs: 1185
Shinies: 8
Rate: 1/148
