Despite having access to Technician and ample good moves to use it with, Hitmontop fails to fill any important role in NU, being heavily outclassed. As a Rapid Spin user, Tsareena and Dhelmise outclass it by a mile, as they both, especially the former, have way more utility than Hitmontop could ever dream of providing. Even as a Fighting-type, Hitmontop is outclassed; all the other Fighting-types have priority moves too, barring Passimian, and they wallbreak better than it can.

Triple Axel nails Flying-types and some other notable Pokemon such as Silvally-Ground, Rotom-C, and Vileplume. Mach Punch allows Hitmontop to finish off attackers like Stakataka under Trick Room, Tauros, and Heliolisk. Two notable alternatives over one of Hitmontop's STAB moves are Bulldoze and Rock Slide. Bulldoze hits Talonflame using Roost, Doublade, and Salazzle, and it's just a good midground option in general, while Rock Slide takes care of Talonflame, Araquanid, Arcanine, and Mantine. Pokemon like Vileplume and Decidueye appreciate Hitmontop luring in and taking care of their checks and counters like Talonflame and Braviary, and in return, they take care of the physical attackers and Psychic-types that threaten Hitmontop, respectively. Focus Sash Salazzle and Leftovers + Bulk Up or Choice Scarf Braviary appreciate Hitmontop clearing Stealth Rock for them and taking care of Rock-types. In return, they take care of Vileplume.

Triple Axel nails Flying-types that threaten Hitmontop and some notable pokemon such as Silvally-Ground, Dragalge [for now, anyways], and Vileplume. Mach Punch lets Hitmontop finish off attackers on low HP, letting it act somewhat as a revenge killer and a check to like Stakataka under Trick Room, Tauros, and Heliolisk. Two notable alternatives over one of Hitmontop's Fighting STABs are Bulldoze and Rock Slide. Bulldoze hits Doublade, Salazzle, Talonflame on Roost, and is just a good middleground in general while Rock Slide takes care of Araquanid, Talonflame, and Arcanine. However, Hitmontop, in NU, is quite bad. It's outclassed as a spinner by both Tsareena and Dhemise, and they both, especially the former, comee with lots of extra utility that Hitmontop cannot even start to provide. Even as a Fighting-type, Hitmontop is outclassed; all of the other Fightings have their own priority bar Passimian and wallbreak better. make this its own paragraph at the start of the section. I think it's best to lead off with why people don't use this mon in a serious capacity

give this a cursory grammar/spelling checkup because I see a lot of basic errors that shouldn't be there; ping me when you've implemented this and I'll check it over again

would give a sentence or two about potential teammate options, probably would write about Pokemon that appreciate Hitmontop luring in and removing foes w/ Triple Axel and Pokemon that want the hazard control. QC 1/1 when you do that

pite having access to Technician and ample good moves to abuse it with, Hitmontop fails to fill any important role in NU, as it is heavily outclassed by its NU brethren. As hazard control in Rapid Spin, Tsareena and Dhelmise outclass it by a mile, as they both, especially the former, have way more utility than Hitmontop could ever even hope of providing. Even as a Fighting-type, Hitmontop is outclassed; all the other Fightings have their own priority barring Passimian, and they wallbreak better than it can.

Triple Axel nails Flying-types and some notable Pokemon such as Silvally-Ground, Dragalge, and Vileplume. Mach Punch allows Hitmontop to finish off attackers like Stakataka under Trick Room, Tauros, and Heliolisk. Two notable alternatives over one of Hitmontop's Fighting STABs are Bulldoze and Rock Slide. Pokemon like Vileplume and Decidueye appreciate Hitmontop luring in and taking care of their threats like Talonflame and Dragalge, and, in return, they take care of the physical attackers and Psychic-types that threaten Hitmontop, respectively. Because they are weak to Stealth Rock, Focus Sash Salazzle and Leftovers Bulk Up or Choice Scarf Braviary appreciate Hitmontop clearing hazards for them and taking care of the Rock-types. In return, they take care of Vileplume.

Add, remove.
Note some sections are excluded (set, credits, strategy comments - the latter will be handled in the future)

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, "Des" does make more sense over "Set Details", and "pite" over "Despite". All jokes out of the way, I've implemented the bar to barring, as I assume that's the only thing that I can assume to be the check.
