Shoddy Battle Team v3 ---- Beast OU RMT.

Alright everyone, this is my 3rd version of my Shoddy Team, being the best, I want to RMT it. I will take any comments about it, so be brutal at will. Thanks!

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Nature: Impish
Ability: Sand Stream
EV's: 252 HP, 252 Defense, 6 Attack

Toxic
Ice Fang
Earthquake
Slack Off

I needed a good lead after taking Gyrados out of the position. This is the 1st of the Trio of Defensive pokemon. I use Toxic and Slack Off Damage, while chipping away with Earthquake and Ice Fang. Should I put a Tyranitar in this position instead. How about a Spiker or Spinner? Help!

Suicune @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Pressure
EV's: 252 HP, 252 Defense, 6 Special Attack

Surf
Ice Beam
Rest
Sleep Talk

The 2nd of the Trio of Defensivly Minded Pokemon. Rest Talk Suicune IMO is the best set you could have. It can just brush off the Toxic Spikes with Rest and it deals great damage with Surf and Ice Beam. My 2nd Favorite pokemon of all time serves a great purpose in my team.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Levitate
EV's: 252 HP, 152 Attack, 98 Special Defense, 8 Defense

Hypnosis
Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Gyro Ball

My Stealth Rocker and Sleep Inducer. The Final of the Trio of Defense. Gyro Ball fucks over any fast pokemon, especially Gengar. Earthquake deals with any switch in Infernapes or Electric types. I don't like the idea of blowing yourslef up with Explosion though.

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Sand Veil
EV's: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP

Outrage
Earthquake
Fire Fang
Stone Edge

Makes use of Sand Veil with Hippowdon's Sand Stream. The first of the Sweeper Trifecta. I tried out a Yache Chomp, but I found 333 Speed to be a little sluggish, and found myself hitting 454 Speed with an Adamant Scarf Chomp, and I absolutely love it. It gets me pleanty of revenge kills, Outrage 2HKO's almost anything in its way. Earthquake for Steel / Fire / Electric types, or just not to get locked into Outrage. Stone Edge for Flying types, in particular, Zapados. Fire Fang for Skarmory and Bronzong, and if I'm daring enough, Abomasnow.

Gyrados @ Wacan Berry
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 252 Attack, 238 Speed, 20 HP

Waterfall
Ice Fang
Dragon Dance
Earthquake

My favorite pokemon of all time makes a great apperance in my team. The 2nd of the Trifecta of awesomeness. Waterfall and Ice Fang makes most things flinch. Dragon Dance is normally the first thing I do. If you remember my prior RMT's, I used a Sash Dos as my lead and got a lot of shit for it, so I switched it up as per your advice. Thank you to all of you who helped me with this pokemon.

Gengar @ Life Orb
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
EV's: 252 Speed, 252 Special Attack, 6 Special Defense

Hidden Power [ICE]
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Energy Ball

A standard Orb'ed Gengar. I am wary of using him a lot, because he is so fragile. I love him though, I miss his old Crystal Sprite! HP Ice for Dragons and Grass Types, Shadow Ball for STAB, Thunderbolt for Waters and Flyings, Focus Blast for normal types. Should I put Grass Knot in replacement of Focus Blast. I'm actually not sure if Gengar can learn Grass Knot, or any Grass Special Attack, I'm just thinking out loud.

Threat List!
dpiconani460.gif
: I don't have a set counter for it, I just have to outplay it with Bronzong or something, it doesn't do much damage to my team however.
dpiconani482.gif
: Azelf is a threat to my team 20 % of the time, because it is dealt with by Garchomp / Gyrados / Suicune / Gengar / Bronzong. I'm not too concerned with it.

dpiconani286.gif
: This is a problem seeing how it can easily set up on my Defensive pokemon. Once that happens, I am reliant on HP Ice, and Ice Beam and Ice Fang, along with an Outrage or two to kill its substitute and then KO it.

dpiconani251.gif
: Celebi is less of a threat than Jirachi, it just a nuisance, but deal with by Gyrados most of the time. Leech seed is a pain in the ass though.
dpiconani386.gif
: Most Deoxys - e's are outsped by Scarf Chomp so, that is this guys counter.
dpiconani149.gif
: If Dragonite can set up on me with some Dragon Dances it can pose a threat to my team, because he is such a beast. I love him haha. Suicune or DD Gyra or Garchomp would be called upon.
dpiconani475.gif
: It needs to be outsped by Chomp, or out played by a Gengar revenge kill. Or, sometimes, I get lucky Flinches with Waterfall.
dpiconani445.gif
: Sub Salac versions are just so annoying, but are dealt with after sometime. Yache Chomp is dealt with by Suicune or just ScarfChomp, and Scarf Chomps are dealt with by Suicune. Bronzong is a reliable counter to him too. Bright Powder Chomp however is just so rare, there is no use mentioning him.
dpiconani094.gif
: Scarfed Gengar can pose a huge threat to my team, but I just have to Gyro Ball him or Suicune can Surf him seeing as how Suicune takes a couple of T-Bolts and doesn't die.
dpiconani130.gif
: Garchomp, Gyrados, and Gengar all kill other Gyradoses. It's not a huge threat to anything but Garchomp with Ice Fang, Gyrados with Stone Edge and Hippowdon with Waterfall.

dpiconani485.gif
: Similar to Gyrados, walled by Suicune, or killed by ScarfChomp and Company.
dpiconani214.gif
: Why is this thing so popular? It sucks! It has to this day, not done anything significant to my team.
dpiconani392.gif
: The special attack version of this is a problem thanks to Grass Knot and Nasty Plot. I have to outspeed him with Garchomp or a DD Gyrados. Otherwise, Suicune might be able to take a hit from Grass Knot and retaliate with Surf.
dpiconani448.gif
: All versions of Lucario are easily countered, the biggest threat posed by the Special version seeing as how it can carry HP Ice. Gyrados and Chomp are the main counters.
dpiconani473.gif
: Gyrados intimidates and then Waterfalls. Suicune Surfs. I just have to be wary of the threat of a Banded Ice Shard.
dpiconani376.gif
: It can kill Ice Punch my Garchomp if EQ doesn't OHKO. Otherwise, Gyrados and Bronzong are suitable counters. It normally fears Hippowdon.
dpiconani373.gif
: All versions of Salamence are countered by all my pokemon in a single effort, or collective when it comes to Bronzong. I don't find this thing to pose much of a threat.

dpiconani143.gif
: CurseLax is a bitch. I normally use Gyrados and Waterfall to counter him, but I am weary when I use Focus Blast thanks to its shitty accuracy.
dpiconani468.gif
: This. Thing. Dies. Quick. I mean seriously, Stone Edge, Ice Beam, Ice Fang, HP Ice, Focus Blast, etc. Not to worried about this.
dpiconani248.gif
: Like Abomasnow, a large annoyance. I am weary of Tyraniboah, and Gengar's Focus Blast is normally a last resort thanks to the accuracy. Gyrados, Suicune, or Chomp are normally fighting this.
dpiconani461.gif
: NEVER GARCHOMP. Always Bronzong / Suicune.

THANKS AND RMT PLEASE
CHANGES IN BOLD
CONCERNS ITALICIZED

Hippowdon wants Impish nature rather than Bold. Also I'm confused about your Gyarados' EV spread. What exactly are you trying to out speed? You should probably just stick 184 in speed and 72 into HP. You might want to consider Energy Ball on Gengar, since you don't really have anything that can best Swampert. You also don't really have anything that can take down Cresselia. Toxic MIGHT work, but it's not really reliable.

Captain Kishimoto, I will make those changes. I don't experience much trouble with Cresselia though, I just hammer at it, as most things.

ExoM7, Scarf Chomp out runs the not 252 Speed EV versions of Deoxys assuming it's nature is neutral. Those I find, are the most common. Plus, Thunderbolt with a Max Special Attack Speed Deoxys (317 Sp. Attack) 3HKO's Suicune, which still could Rest, prolonging it, and possibly kill it over that time. Plus, if it has that 317 Special Attack, it wouldn't be running a speed boosting nature. It could still outrun Scarf Chomp but if the wielder of said Deoxys made it a mixed attacker, it is outrun by Scarf Chomp.

Your team is extremely weak to Gallade. After a SD, Close Combat outdamages Hippowdon and Suicune. Shadow Sneak OHKOs Gengar, and Stone Edge OHKOs Gyarados after a SD. Remember, ScarfChomp is rather weak and most Gallade are EVed to survive its Outrage anyways. Close Combat would surely OHKO.

Alright, well to get started, Gallade doesn't pose a huge threat due to the fact that its highest speed without a Choice Scarf is only 284. It is outsped by Gengar, Garchomp, and Gyrados after a DD. Also, if it is carrying a Choice Scarf, it is slower than Garchomp, plus, it wouldn't be able to Swords Dance.

-- In conclusion, my team is not "Gallade Raped" so to speak, and even if it was, next time please help as to how to better my team in the sense that it could beat Gallade, which it already does.

Besides Hippowdon this is a pretty offensive team, so I see no reason to keep him over Tyranitar, especially since you already cover TTar's weaks very well. I would go with either a scarf Tyranitar (Crunch, EQ, Ice Beam, Stone Edge OR Fire Blast) to surprise Gengars and Garchomps, or an Expert Belt FreakTar (Crunch, EQ, Fire Blast, Ice Beam) to bluff scarf/band and then unleash a furious ohko on Skarm and Gliscor.

If you go with Scarf TTar, I would change Garchomp into a Yache Berry - Swords Dance variant, since too many scarves makes you huge set-up and Wobbuffet bait.

If you go with Expert Belt TTar, give Bronzong a Lum Berry and make it your lead. LumZong is one of the best offensive leads in the game. If you use ScarfTar, lead with that.

Wacan DD Gyara is a cool set, but it really only needs 232 speed in order to beat out base 125 speed pokes and neutral-nature scarf Heatran. Or if you hate Adamant Dragonite you can just use max speed.

Energy Ball is a waste on Gengar. Suicune is already a great swampert switch-in, and you have other ways to do it as well. Even though it has crap 70% accuracy, Focus Blast is the way to go to beat TTar and Lucario.

Sorry I didn't go as in-depth as I usually do; it's really late and I'm really tired.

Good Luck; Hope this Helps! --TAY
