Only wanted to put it back up for a sec so Mystica could see it. Got to 22nd on the ladder with the team. Thanks for the help mah peeps!

Your threat list seems a bit off. I can see the team having problems with Garchomps and Infernapes. You will probably have to use Gyarados to take them, but without Wish it looks like it would get worn out. I know this may sound weird, but Rest/Sleep Talk Gyarados is a very underrated set. It solves alot of your problems with Scarfchomp, Infernape (without Tpunch), Fighters, Boah (without tbolt) and lets you beat Heatran (all Snorlax can really do is stall out). I still see somewhat of a glaring Gyarados weakness though. Zap Cannon on Foretress would solve that.

Charizard usually takes Infernape like its no one's business, and ScarfChomp generally Outrages, and becomes Forry bait. Though I know what your saying--A smart Scarfchomp player could bypass this. My Gyarados problem has been iterated before, but I have never been swept by him--my own Gyarados/Sceptile generally take him out. I used to have Celebi over Sceptile for Gyara, but doesn't that just exacerbate my Chomp weakness?

I am interested in that Resttalk Gyarados--that could free up Snorlax's set a little bit as well. Hmmmm

If you do decide to make Gyra into a restalker then giving Snorlax a Choice Band would be cool to trap/kill Starmie, who I imagine is pretty annoying for your team.

Actually Celebi over Sceptile looks okay. Celebi handles Garchomp okay with HP Ice/Reflect or you could even use a sweeper Celebi (Scarfcelebi isn't that bad). Celebi also gives you better protection against fighters (notably Breloom). The only problem I have with taking Rest/Sleep talk off of Snorlax is that is doesn't have a recovery move.

I like where you're head is at RedSP, I was thinking the same thing =D

More opinions on this? Or on the team in general

EDIT: Hmmmmm, though you do bring up a good point there Tsurukawa, no rest makes the role Snorlax plays kind of pointless. Celebi could work I guess--I could use the reflect support. I do remember having problems with Suicune once Sceptile was previously replaced by Celebi--though Leech Seed solves that I guess O_o

My only concerns with this team is your Sceptile. I don't believe there's an advantage opting for Specs over Life Orb; 1.5 boost isn't going to accomplish more that 1.3. Additionally you're going to have better versatility by not being stuck on a single move.
Just my thoughts. BTW, Cresselia looks like it gives you hell.

Hey Dormin, as I'm sure you know very nice team ^.^
Firstly, I'd like to say Specstile should stay on the team, he gives a lot more speed to the team than Celebi or Shaymin, albeit he is less bulky. Specstile also helps take on non ScarfChomp better than Celebi and Shaymin, and ScarfChomp will never be a problem so long as either Forrey or Gyarados are in good health.
Also, I think you should consider making Gyarados a RestTalker and give Lax a CB, in order to trap/kill Starmie, as well as most ghosts. Starmie gives Gyarados and Garchomp headaches, so killing it off early game would give them a lot more freedom.
Also, nice RMT, I may have to repost mine too as only one or two minor changes were made for mine on my last rmt :/
Dang 28th, look, this from this Wednesday till next Monday I won't be able to play Shoddy, so promise you won't just ahead of me in the ladder :*(

Yeah Cressy pisses me off, but Snorlax will kill it or Garchomp will take one that switches in on an SD. I've only encountered one CMCress which had HP Fighting, and I lost that match =p She is definitely a problem I'll give ya that. Hmmmm Life Orb could work I guess, but I'll have to run some damage calcs. If anything it will prevent my prediction circuits from overloading. lol I predict so much with this team.

EDIT: lol thanks Luphrous! My account is really slowing down in points per win--I just beat Mystica and I only went up three points, so I don't think you have anything to worry about. Hmmm yeah I really like Sceptile on the team, and I'll test CBlax and Resttalk Gyara. Though I might be worried about big special threats, but CBlax can probably take them out before too much damage is caused. And CBlax does kill those ghosts that block my lifesaving spin!

Also, then I would have 3 choice users x_x. I can predict with the best of 'em, but I don't think I'm THAT good =D Thoughts people?

Personally, I think the choice of using 3 choice pokes is not down to your prediction(which is obviously great, you can't reach as high as you have with out it) but just what suites your style more: A brave offensive game w/ 3 choice users that requires lots of prediction, or a team that is still very threatening, but has 1-2 choice users to help with versatility. Heck, the very first version of my team had 3 choice users and no rapid spin support, which to this day I have never used lol. That said, I enjoy the kind of game where every prediction could win or lose a game, so for you it could be different. Those bold prediction games are also harder to win against top players who play stallish.
Wow, my team only has 1 choice user :*( It feels so.....defensive all of sudden O=

Hmmmm I suppose your right. I could Life Orb Sceptile and Choice Band Snorlax, thus keeping the 2 choicers and adding move mobility to that powerful Sceptile set. I really want to use CBlax, as he kills pesky starmie and those damn ghost spin blockers--but then I would feel kind of vulnerable to special attacks. If Snorlax goes choiced, Gyara will definitely become a resttalker--starter hypnosis-scarf gars might give me trouble then, as I can't switch Gyara in to absorb sleep fearing a T-bolt. I would just have to start by leaving Charizard in, or put sleep talk on the CB lax set which would be kind of dumb.

Your team is great. I do suggest using Zap Cannon on forry to help with Gyara, but I'm sure specsTile OHKOs with Leafstorm. I can see you being outpredicted with all the choice users. However, I 've watched this team so many times, and it works so well.

I'll suggest an EV spread for Gyarados. This is the one I use:

148 HP / 176 Def / 184 Speed - Adamant

Keeps him extremely bulky, but the swiftness of DD Gyara to rape what it needs to. Gyarados is a monster.

If you decide to go to a mixed wall, Snorlax can do it with these EVs:

140 HP / 116 Attack / 252 Def - Impish

I use that on mine. Survives Infernape and Lucario CCs and fucks them with Body Slam... kind of funny lol. Don't try that though becuz I'm a fool. Other than that, your team is great man not much to change.

haha thanks Raikou--I do remember you as a spectator in a few battles =D Do you suggest Zap Cannon over EQ? Earthquake does help a lot sometimes, though it might be for the best to replace it.

Outpredicting usually only happens in the beginning of the game I have found--once I know most of the opponents pokes I generally pick away with prediction.

Yeah the Gyara EV spread has plagued me over time--I'll test out that bulky spread to better take down Luke, Chompy, and other Gyarados

Unfortunately, I have found that without Snorlax as a purely special wall, special attackers run rampant and kill lax easily. I do relish the thought of surviving those close combats though.

Its funny that you say it doesn't need much change, because I have recently found it to be true. Every time I try to think of replacements and widespread changes, I lament over what I now can't do. They all work so well together. I think the bulkygyara spread you have suggested will help my Gyarados weakness as well. I find I have gotten better with this team over time--familiarity with what each poke can and can't do is paramount to its success. Thanks!

Well, I think it is pretty solid as is, but more suggestions are very welcome. I'm not #1 yet, so something must be wrong, or I'm just not dealing with threats like I should be =D

NOTE to Luphrous--25th now, don't know if I can make any promises ;D

Alright yea definitely the core of the team is what you already have here, I have the same problem every time I try to add something that should help my team, I find myself constantly wishing I had what I just replaced...basically I'm just saying I second the notion that the team needs little change.
Don't catch up to me >.< dang it 5 days away from Shoddy...I feel like I won't even be in the 1600's )=
It's fine if ya jump me, when I'm back, I'll be ready for ya >:)
