This is my first ever warstory, forgive me for any mistakes I make.
I'm not amazing at Pokémon, but am always trying to get better, though I still don't :p. I was just recently trying out this team (made it yesterday), and I came across a battler named megamo. He gave me a good battle, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. So here was my team:

(in order of appearance)

Rules: Ladder Match, Sleep Clause, Freeze Clause, OHKO Clause, Evasion Clause, Species Clause, Strict Damage Clause

The battle starts with me sending out a ScarfGar and him sending out a useless (not always though) Pidgeot.

megamo sent out Pidgeot (lvl 100 Pidgeot ?).
Aman - testing sent out Gengar (lvl 100 Gengar ?).
Gengar used Focus Blast.
Pidgeot lost 71% of its health.
Pidgeot used U-turn.
It's not very effective...
Gengar lost 6% of its health.
megamo switched in Houndoom (lvl 100 Houndoom ?).

Enough damage dealt to start the game off. He switches with U-Turn. 6-6

Aman - testing switched in Infernape (lvl 100 Infernape ?).
Houndoom used Dark Pulse.
It's not very effective...
Infernape lost 22% of its health.

His Dark Pulse does some damage, but not enough to even 4HKO me. 6-6

megamo switched in Milotic (lvl 100 Milotic ?).
Infernape used Close Combat.
Milotic lost 75% of its health.
Infernape's defence was lowered.
Infernape's special defence was lowered.

Milotic? Isn't that kind of stupid, seeing as you're switching in a Milotic, not even on Revenge kill against a much faster Pokémon.

Infernape used Close Combat.
Milotic lost 25% of its health.
megamo's Milotic fainted.
Infernape's defence was lowered.
Infernape's special defence was lowered.

See? Useless. Pointless. 6-5 Aman - testing (me)

megamo switched in Walrein (lvl 100 Walrein ?).
Infernape's used Swords Dance.
Infernape's attack was sharply raised.
Walrein used Earthquake.
It's super effective!
Infernape lost 78% of its health.
Aman - testing's Infernape fainted.

Pressed the wrong button unfortunately. Meant to Flare Blitz him. Ah well, nothing happened TBH. 5-5

Aman - testing switched in Jirachi (lvl 100 Jirachi).
megamo switched in Houndoom (lvl 100 Houndoom ?).
Jirachi used Thunder.
Houndoom lost 37% of its health.
Houndoom is paralysed! It may be unable to move!

Yay for Paralysis hax! 5-5

Aman - testing switched in Hitmonlee (lvl 100 Hitmonlee ?).
Houndoom used Flamethrower.
Hitmonlee lost 45% of its health.

Hitmonlee FTW! I have a feeling at this point that Hitmonlee will be in this game for a long time. 5-5

megamo switched in Pidgeot (lvl 100 Pidgeot ?).
Hitmonlee used Mach Punch.
Pidgeot lost 29% of its health.
megamo's Pidgeot fainted.

Meh, easy. Nothing much tbh. Gengar has already got it down 29% health. 5-4 Aman - testing (me)

megamo switched in Houndoom (lvl 100 Houndoom ?).
Hitmonlee used Mach Punch.
It's super effective!
Houndoom lost 63% of its health.
megamo's Houndoom fainted.

Switching Houndoom in against a fighting type? Stupid? Yes. 5-3 Aman - testing (me)

megamo switched in Walrein (lvl 100 Walrein ?).
Hitmonlee used Mach Punch.
It's super effective!
Walrein lost 66% of its health.
Walrein used Earthquake.
Hitmonlee lost 47% of its health.
Hitmonlee used Mach Punch.
It's super effective!
Walrein lost 34% of its health.
megamo's Walrein fainted.

Get's done. Good try mate. At least Walrein does a fair amount of damage. 5-2 Aman - testing (me)

megamo switched in Torterra (lvl 100 Torterra ?).
Hitmonlee used Mach Punch.
Torterra lost 31% of its health.
Torterra used Wood Hammer.
Hitmonlee lost 7% of its health.
Aman - testing's Hitmonlee fainted.
Torterra was hit by recoil!
Torterra lost 2% of its health.

Finally, Hitmonlee goes. Unfortunate, but he killed so many of this guy's Pokémon. 4-2 megamo

Aman - testing switched in Gengar (lvl 100 Gengar ?).
Gengar used Hidden Power.
It's super effective!
Torterra lost 67% of its health.
megamo's Torterra fainted.

ScarfGar is out again. I love this thing :p. 4-1 Aman - testing (me)

megamo switched in Rhyperior (lvl 100 Rhyperior ?).
Gengar used Hidden Power.
It's super effective!
Rhyperior lost 78% of its health.
Rhyperior used Thunder.
Rhyperior's attack missed!

Meh, HP Ice is funnnn. And then he misses :o. 4-1

Gengar used Hidden Power.
It's super effective!
Rhyperior lost 22% of its health.
megamo's Rhyperior fainted.
Aman - testing wins!

megamo has left the room.
Aman - testing: gg

Bit of an idiot in the end. Doesn't even admit that we had a good game. I had a game with him straight after this one and 4-0ed a different team again. 4-0 Aman - testing final score.

Great game megamo.

Pros:

Hitmonlee for staying in for a fair amount of time and KOing quite a few Pokémon.
ScarfGar for making me put you into my WiFi team.
Infernape for getting rid of Milotic :p.

Cons:

megamo for not saying "gg" at the end.
Celebi + Mismagius for not taking part :p.

And thats my warstory. I'll also be posting this team in RMT to be rated.

Awful battle, terrible commentary, bad warstory.

The point of commentary is to tell people what you were thinking, for example, why did you switch your gengar out vs houndoom? Were you afraid of focus blast missing? did you suspect the houndoom was scarfed with max speed? You should have explained your reasoning.

Also, in general, if you win by more than 2 ko's, the battle is not worth warstorying.

How was that a great battle? Neither of you predicted at all and both made some stupid moves. I can only assume that you rate this as a great battle because you won...

This is just horrible
- bad opponent
- bad commentary

Also, as Shiny Crobat said... Flare Blitz on a Walrein?(thick fat maybe?)

amazingly crap warstory.

What kind of warstory is this? Flare BLitz a Walrein if you have CC?

Pretty bad battle tbh, Thunder Rhyperior, stupid switches, too short and the ending score all show that.

:/

Oh look at that, I just quoted every post in this thread.

Sorry, I have to agree. This is about as exciting as fighting my friend, who thinks that Blast Burn is the best move ever and will OHKO anything... he also thinks Nevermeltice weakens fire attacks.

If you're opponent is that stupid, we really would rather not hear about it. This is why I think we should start having warstories be approved... too many crappy ones on the front page today.

LOL U TOTLY BEET TAHT NUBS UU TEAM W UR OU DUDZ ROTF XD

this battle was absolute shit; why would you ever warstory this abomination?

He gave me a good battle, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Never mind, I get it. You were trying to be ironic and this entire thing was a critique of how overplayed writing good warstories is. 10/10.

Also, in general, if you win by more than 2 ko's, the battle is not worth warstorying.

Oh dear ... I guess I shouldn't have bothered with my Lumineon vs. Parasect warstory then. Oh wait, its the second most read thing I've written :P ...

My biggest problem with your warstory da big blast was your arrogance ... you portray yourself as being far superior to your opponent yet your commentary betrays your inexperience.

Note the words "in general", it's a guideline, not a rule.

Nice format, but the comments and battle were far from good.

Also why didn't you just end the battle after you SD'd on Walrein, im sure you would of raped his whole team if you would of just killed the Walrus off with a Close Combat.

uh...lol Rhyperior learns Thunder?!

Edit: lol, after checking back his movepool I find Rhype learns a huge number of special moves, including Surf...lol

This war story is bad. I saw Pidgeot and thought that it would be an interesting match, but it wasn't...boo! And Mismagius didn't see play....*bad*

Generally, 4-0 isn't worth putting in a war story. Only if there are at least 8 deaths and not-so-stupid opponents then only it's worth war storying.

And don't make it such a big deal if he didn't say gg. Half my battlers never say anything.
