Approved Show Opponent W/L History

It would be nifty to show W/L history against a given user in given format, similar to online chess.

Edit: I'm fairly certain lichess.org has this feature I'm envisioning.
Edit 2: Go to 10:42 of

youtube.com/watch?=88QD_mlOwlk

and watch Chess Network play against his rival Ferrari in a three second blitz game. Pay attention to the bottom of the screen to see exactly what I'm talking about.

He mentions how nervous he is whilst playing against him and you can see their rich play history is 50/50, so you know the game will be pretty competitive.

As for both the player and spectators, this feature adds value.

Knowing a chronological w/l history against an opponent helps you determine how to play against said opponent. They may struggle to modify their behavior after repeated games until they one time adapt and overcome. Then that loss shows up on the line of games for next time. Next time your paired up it's you who needs to consider what happened in that last loss in order to help win.

Conversely, if you've never been paired up with an opponent, then you at least have their rating to compare against. In that case you may play a more safe or orthodox game when it comes to predicting.

TLDR Having a win/loss record helps make better plays over the long run while laddering.

Why would you ever use that, imo it is totally unnecesary
It makes the ladder more geared towards player-based matchups. As you improve at competition, you begin to recognize the opponents you fight regularly. On the ladder, this can be very helpful information: you'll be less likely to autopilot against players you've lost to again and again. It also helps you identify what playstyles you're best against: do you crumble to aggressive, prediction-based players, or defensive ones who tend to prefer conditioning you first?

Despite that I'm approving this, this is something pretty difficult to implement without a unified battle log database that I don't think anyone else but me can do. So I don't really recommend other devs take on this project. The unified battle log database I estimate will come within a yearish.
