The best tournament on Smogon for the best metagame on Smogon has finally dropped! Here in the Pet Mods sub-forum lies a riveting single elimination Best of 3 tournament that aims to give players to get some high quality games in, and possibly to see if Mega Greninja and friends are really all that. Sounds like a very fun tour already, but to sweeten the deal I will be rewarding the winner of this tournament with a $100 prize and a once in a lifetime drawing of a smiley face to incentivize the lovely people of Smogon to join and give it their best shot.
Rules and Guidelines I need you to read:
Signups will last until November 23, 2025 at 11:59 PM, post "In" or your favorite Mega Evolution to signup!
- General tournament rules and regulations.
- Best of three, single elimination, [Gen 9] Legends Z-A OU.
- This tournament will use the standard [Gen 9] Legends Z-A OU banlist.
- If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
- Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown! or the SmogTours server
- SV cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
- Replays will be mandatory.
- $100 to be distributed to the winner via paypal.
- Drawing of smiley face to be distributed to the winner via Smogon and/or Discord
