[OVERVIEW]
Silvally-Fairy is a very versatile threat in the PU metagame thanks to a myriad of factors. Solid base 95 stats across the board and a wide movepool allow it to be easily constructed to fit a specific team's needs. With access to Defog, Parting Shot, and Thunder Wave, it can be a great support Pokemon, while access to Swords Dance and super effective coverage to hit common Fairy-type checks such as Togedemaru and Talonflame let it be a great offensive Pokemon. A pure Fairytyping means it's great for checking and setting up on Dark- and Fighting-types such as Scrafty and Virizion. Silvally-Fairy's biggest flaw is its lack of any form of recovery. It is also susceptible to all entry hazards and status afflictions, making it easy to wear down and unable to check what it needs to consistently. Finally, it cannot fit all of what it wants on one set, limiting its options.

[SET]
name: Utility
move 1: Multi-Attack
move 2: Parting Shot
move 3: Defog / Toxic / Thunder Wave
move 4: Flamethrower
item: Fairy Memory
ability: RKS System
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Parting Shot allows Silvally-Fairy to pivot out on would-be threats such as Togedemaru and Toxicroak while debuffing them for its teammates. If Defog is unneeded, then Silvally-Fairy can run a status move of its choice to cripple an opposing Pokemon. Despite the Jolly nature, Flamethrower is chosen to hit Steel-types, hitting them harder than Fire Fang. The Speed investment allows Silvally-Fairy to outspeed fully invested base 85s, letting it revenge kill Pokemon such as Toxicroak and Vanilluxe in a pinch, and the rest is invested into physical bulk. Notably, it lives a +1 Life Orb Iron Head from Dragon Dance Scrafty after Stealth Rock. Silvally-Fairy pairs best with Steel-types, building a solid defensive core with them. Togedemaru is a great option, as it can sponge Poison- and Steel-type attacks while healing Silvally-Fairy with Wish, and, in return, Silvally-Fairy can tank Fighting-type attacks for it. Psychic- and Dark-type attackers such as Mesprit and Scrafty heavily appreciate the absence of Dark- and Fighting-type checks as well as the Parting Shot support, making it easier for them set up without fear of being punished.

[SET]
name: Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Multi-Attack
move 3: Flame Charge
move 4: Rock Slide / Psychic Fangs
item: Fairy Memory
ability: RKS System
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

A strong STAB move, great coverage, and two boosting moves let Silvally-Fairy tear through teams. Flame Charge is not only useful for hitting Steel-types, but it lets Silvally-Fairy boost its Speed, making it harder to revenge kill by Choice Scarf users such as Mesprit and Basculin. Rock Slide allows it to OHKO Talonflame, while Psychic Fangs lets it take care of a weakened Weezing. U-turn is also an option if Silvally-Fairy finds itself in a bad situation, however this means forgoing important coverage. Swords Dance Silvally-Fairy can be used as both a sweeper and a breaker, but be aware that it struggles to break past bulky Rock- and Ground-types such as Regirock and Aggron. Grass- and Water-types such as Virizion and Basculin take advantage of these types of Pokemon due to their super effective STAB moves while also weakening Fire- and Poison-types, making them solid partners for Silvally-Fairy. Cleaners such as Sneasel and Passimian also appreciate walls such as Regirock and Palossand being weakened so they can efficiently sweep.

A pure Fairy-typing means it's great for checking Dark- and Fighting- types such as Scrafty and Virizion, while giving it setup opportunities against them. Silvally-Fairy's biggest flaw is its lack of any form of recovery (barring Rest and Wish support) dont even mention these niche options, which means any damage it takes is most likely remove that qualifier (just permanent) permanent. It is also susceptible to all entry hazards and all status, making it easy to wear down and unable to check what it needs to consistently. It also faces competition for a defensive role from Silvally-Steel; while it is weak to Fighting-types, it is immune to Toxic and resists Stealth Rocks, making it harder to wear down, and both cannot be used on the same team. I dont agree with this they have significantly different roles and check significantly different pokemon. fairyvally doesnt really have major competition

Silvally-Fairy's support options make it a solid utility user I dont know what "utility user" means, this sentence kinda doesnt need to be here. Parting Shot allows Silvally-Fairy to pivot out on would-be threats such as Togedemaru and Choice Scarf Roserade just Roserade, no need to specify scarf while weakening them for its team parting shot doesnt weaken it debuffs. Defog lets it remove hazards against foes it forces out it just lets it remove hazards, no matter who its facing. the forcing out foes bit is unnecessary, letting it take less damage from them while supporting its team; if this is unneeded, then Silvally-Fairy can run a status of its choice to cripple an opposing Pokemon. Despite the Jolly nature, Flamethrower is chosen to hit Steel-types, hitting harder than Fire Fang. The EV spread allows Silvally-Fairy to outspeed fully invested base 90s, letting it revenge kill stuff like Pokemon such as Toxicroak and Roserade in a pinch, and the rest is invested into physical bulk. Notably, it lives a +1 Life Orb Iron Head from Dragon Dance Scrafty after Stealth Rocks damage don't need that. Silvally-Fairy pairs best with Steel-types, as they resist both Poison- and Steel-type attacks, building a solid defensive core with it. Togedemaru is a great option, as it can sponge Poison- and Steel-type attacks while healing Silvally-Fairy with Wish, and in return, Silvally-Fairy can tank Fighting-type attacks for Togedemaru. Psychic- and Dark-type attackers such as Mesprit and Scrafty heavily appreciate the absence of their checks, letting them setup or use their STAB moves without drawback.

It also appreciates Toxic Spikes support from Weezing, which wears down the bulky Rock- and Ground-types for it.

Parting Shot allows Silvally-Fairy to pivot out on would-be threats such as Togedemaru and Roserade (banned) while debuffing them for its teammates. Defog lets it remove hazards against foes, letting it take less damage from them while supporting its team; if this is unneeded, then Silvally-Fairy can run a status of its choice to cripple an opposing Pokemon. A strong STAB, great coverage, and two boosting moves let Silvally-Fairy tear through teams. Flame Charge is not only useful for hitting Steel-types, but lets Silvally-Fairy boost its Speed, making it harder to revenge kill (mention some scarfers / mons it outspeeds at +1) . Swords Dance Silvally-Fairy can be used as both a sweeper and a breaker, but beware that it struggles to break past bulky Rock- and Ground-types such as Regirock or Palossand. (it actually gets past palossand) Grass- and Water-types such as Roserade (3, make this virizion as it can weaken both fire- and poison-types) and Basculin take advantage of these types of Pokemon due to their super effective STABs, making them solid partners for Silvally-Fairy. It also appreciates Toxic Spikes support from Weezing, which wears down the bulky Rock- and Ground-types for it. (mention cleaners like sneasel that appreciate fairyvally weakening down regirock and stuff when it cant sweep)
