I'd bet on that option first, Shiny Love Ball Kyogre was a rather common RNG objective in 4th gen.
ya i thought about that but i may just keep it to use on my random battle team :P I always put just one legendary on my random battle team (so i dont feel totally screwed when someone else brings in an arceus, azelf, heatran and yveltal lol)
Kids with full legend teams are useful for farming wins :] all you need is a focus sash swords dance garchomp.

It is super possible :) I RNGd one myself a few days ago :) Shiny Timid 5 IVs Kyogre in a love ball. Took forever though since love ball is an awful ball to try and catch legendaries with! I also RNGd shiny Lugia in a love ball, which took many freaking hours since I kept throwing balls at it, and it ran out of moves everytime and then struggled :P

Dumb question, the "RNGd" thing... Random number generator... Does that just mean soft resetting?
To put it very shortly: you enter the game at a specific date and time and get the results you want :) It's not just soft resetting, since if you do RNG properly, it will give you your expected results.
