as others have said, get everyone you can! But I've noticed this thread has a billion love ball and moon ball pokes, try finding Pokemon that match in level balls, friend balls and fast balls those are less common and might trade better :)
I'm not a collector so I would honestly just pick competitively viable Pokemon to catch if you're on a limited timeframe. Catch stuff like Mareep, Marill, Magikarp, Scyther, and anything that got a Mega. Skip garbage like Oddish, Rattata, and Pidgey, as well as things that need HAs to be good. That stuff should always trade well and will be of use to you as well.

A female with the HA would be best. A male can pass it down though if breeding with a Ditto.
does anyone have an HA adamant or jolly starly and tell me if mega blaziken is banned? for the starly i can give you a doduo spitback

Yes, Mega Blaziken is banned to Ubers (along with normal Blaziken, iirc)
