Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Pretty sure you couldn't "catch" Eevee in HGSS, so it's not available in the Apricorn balls. It was only a prize from the game corner, and that only comes in pokeballs.
Question for the smart people on the board, If every egg has a shiny value and each Trainer has a set shiny value, then it seems to me there are 8000 (or whatever) different possible shiny values for each egg to have giving you the 1/8000 chance of hatching one. Now how does this play in with the Masuda Method? Each egg will still have it's own shiny values but now yours is more likely to pop up to give it the 1/1200 (or whatever is is in gen 6 I've heard like 1/650 now). Either way does anyone know how the game increases these odds for you?

You think i havent tried? Everyone who I have asked has told me there is nothing in my thread they want so here is my only option to find a non-shiny bulbasaur with hp fire in a nest ball

If it works similarly to previous generations, whenever the game detects Masuda Method parents, it will try 4 times (could be 3 now) and if one is shiny on your game, stop there.
Say your SV is 0.
Game try #1: Egg's SV 1234, no match so try again.
Game try #2: Egg's SV 2345, no match so try again.
Game try #3: Egg's SV 0, match so assign this SV to egg
On a slightly off topic point, the SV is merely a method of making the process accessible to the masses. It's actually a formula involving a PID assigned to every Pokémon, and your personal TID and SID.
I believe it works like this:
Whenever a Pokémon gets generated, it receives a PID: in hex this is 0x######## (where # can be 0-F). Call the first 4 #'s the HID, and the last 4 #'s the LID.
Your trainer ID is 0x#### in hex (0–65535 in decimal), and your secret ID is the same (type, not the same number).
Then the formula for shiny would be:
(HID XOR LID) XOR (TID XOR SID) < 0x10. If that holds (the formula is less that 0x10) then the Pokémon will be shiny.
We cannot know for certain if this is the same this generation, as we cannot see the inner workings of 3DS games as we could for previous generation games; that said, I can't see why they'd change it (if it ain't broke don't fix it).
I DO NOT claim to be a "smart person" on these forums, I have learnt this through reading about RNG abuse in previous generations. I am "standing on the shoulders of giants", as it were.

So I am confused on the first part, what do you mean "try 3 times" So if I don't get a shiny after the first 3 eggs the odds are the same as not Masuda Method parents? Thanks again, really informative, you know your stuff.
Recently, I switched Internet Providers, and my wifi is no longer compatible with my DS. Changing security types isn't an option at the moment, so is there a way I could set up a proxy or something of the sort to play my 3DS online? If you can help, please PM me! Sorry if this doesn't qualify for this thread.

You might be able to use a PC or laptop to set up a virtual network, similar to how you can connect a DSLite (WEP only) to WPA-2 security.
That does mean you need two wifi adaptors, and could possibly allow unauthorised devices to connect to your wifi, but I don't know what sort of router security you've moved to.
