Keep and use it as a regular diancie it'd have to use as a mega diancie since it's in an important speed tier.

It's just where the egg is hatched. Some people want eggs hatched in specific places

On the Pokemons summary screen where it tells you the date obtained and such, it tells you what route or city the egg hatched in. But Im pretty sure the location doesnt transfer between games. If you trade it to ORAS, itll say 'Traveled to Hoenn from the Kalos region.', or something similar.
Your Pokemon's info includes where it was hatched or caught. Some people like them to be hatched in certain places that suit the Pokemon.
