People who got the Shiny Gengar at the stores - did you have to bring your 3DS to get the code?
I'm looking for ANY beldum. Can give calm sableye spitback (prankster) with an ability capsule in return.
I brought mine out of paranoia... only to be told by the attendants I had to pre-order ORAS to get it.
It's a serial code for most areas, I think. I know AU/EU/US have a serial code, and Japan is real life download.

Which HP is more useful on Gengar: Ice or Fire?
Unless you have something against Dragons, I would go with fire.
Fire better for Pursuit Scizor which can bowl Gengar over if it doesn't have it.
with the buff to ghost typing, gengar doesn't really use a hidden power...most people are just SRing the event one, and decent IV's sound better when they have a seemingly useful hidden power...if you're just breeding it though, 0 attack 31 everything else is it's most useful spread

Yeah, I'm just asking in the event that I get either one when soft resetting for the event. I've seen two really good Gengar's w/both, and their popularity implied that Ice or Fire is the way to go.
I guess I'll be aiming for fire, then. ^ ^

Since I successfully ID/SID abused my newly bought Heartgold I'm considering restarting my soul silver to ID/SID abuse it too, not completely sure as I have so many pokémon on it but catching my own shiny Rayquaza and Groudon would be so awsome.
I checked the seeds and not sure which one would be best:
Jolly/Naughty: 30/31/31/30/31/31 hp grass
Jolly/Naughty: 31/30/30/31/31/31 hp ice
Jolly/Impish: 30/30/30/31/31/31 hp ice
I really want a Rayquaza with jolly nature, already have naive shiny quaza and I could do a timid shiny on my HG. But I don't really want a jolly shiny Groudon as I think boosting its speed is a waste. Do you guys think naughty or impish could work for Primal Groudon (please PM me as some people might not want to know its base stats yet!)?. Sadly couldn't find a shiny spread with both jolly and adamant nature, but at the same time I already have a non-shiny adamant Groudon so catching another adamant would be a bit redundant.
