As a Pokecheck moderator, this is exactly it. That, and the issue that 99% of the time, whomever was being offered something from Pokecheck, could, if they were willing to put in a slight amount of effort, get it themselves for free.

I've never save reset for event pokemon. I can just hop in game, grab her, check her stats and then reset without saving and try again, right?

Hello. I'm looking for someone that could clone some Poke's for me. I need a clone of my eevee evolution team for a giveaway and a copie for the person helping out with the giveaway. I also need these dittos cloned. The dittos I'm going to give to people looking for 6iv dittos to help them with breeding. Your welcome to also make yourself a copie.

Save before talking to the lady in blue. Talk to her, check IVs, then soft reset if you don't like. That's usually the easiest method
Yep. A few tips to help speed up the process a little:
• Do the resetting in Kiloude PokéCenter (the IV Guru is there and so you can immediately ask him to confirm [some of] the IVs).
• Have something in mind and wait until you have it—excluding in exceptional cases, e.g. flawless Timid when you were going for Bold, etc.
No need to say "keep/toss" for every 5th one.
• Don't waste your time checking things which can't be useful.
E.g. if you check the summary screen and it's Bashful, don't waste your time calculating the IVs. Even if it's hex-flawless, you're probably still going to toss.

You get diancie at level 50 right? What are Diancie's stats going to look like at that level with Max IVs, neutral nature for those stats and no EVs?
Assuming 31 IVs across the board:
Boosted:
125 / 132 / 187 / 132 / 187 / 77
Neutral:
125 / 120 / 170 / 120 / 170 / 70
Hindered:
125 / 108 / 153 / 108 / 153 / 63
Note: in the Boosted/Hindered ones, each stat is assumed boosted/hindered respectively; such a nature does not exist, this is merely for illustrative purposes of what stats should be—you can mix and match for your desired nature.
E.g. For Bold (+Def , -Att): You'd take neutral stats for all but those two:
125 / - / - / 120 / 170 / 70.
Then boosted for Def, and hindered for Att:
125 / 108 / 187 / 120 / 170 / 70.

I really do know if it's possible for it to be in a different pokeball (since ice punch and iron tail can only be obtained from 4th/5th gen), but if it's really not and if it's only in a regular pokeball, that's fine with me.
If anyone has one and if you want something in return, you can CMT for it if you wish. Thank you.
