Slither Wing is a potent physical attacker thanks to its wide coverage, good bulk and recovery, as well being able as force out fast offensive threats like Meowscarada, Ogerpon-C and Iron Boulder thanks to First Impression. Close Combat nails Kingambit, Archaludon, Ting-Lu, and Air Balloon Heatran, while also forcing the 2HKO on Porygon2, Skarmory, and Articuno. First Impression gives Slither Wing the jump on faster threats like Ogerpon-C, Iron Boulder, and Chien-Pao. Morning Sun provides Slither Wing with a form of longevity, and Earthquake hits switch ins to Slither Wing like Gholdengo, Skeledirge, and Toxapex. Life Orb is recommended due to Slither Wing's plethora of coverage and the recoil can be counteracted by Morning Sun's recovery.

Choice Scarf Kleavor is one of the best teammates for Slither Wing, as it can deal with Flying- and Fire-types like Tornadus-T, Talonflame, and Ogerpon-H with Stone Axe, as well as setting Stealth Rock in the process. Kleavor also has pivoting in U-turn, allowing Slither Wing to switch in safely. Swords Dance Scizor is another amazing teammate, as its raw power and priority in Bullet Punch can deal with Fairy-types like Flutter Mane and Enamorus. Volcarona and Frosmoth are good partners due to being able to meaningfully deal Pokemon like Gliscor, Great Tusk, Galarian Weezing, and Amoongus. In return Slither Wing can deal with Clodsire, Blissey, Heatran, and Hisuian Goodra. Slither Wing has a middling speed tier, so Sticky Web setters like Ribombee, Galvantula, and Araquanid are recommended. Ribombee is the fastest out of the three, as well as being able to deal with Dragon-types like Latias and Baxcalibur with Moonblast. It can also spread paralysis via Stun Spore. Galvantula can pressure Ground- and Water-types like Toxapex and Great Tusk thanks to its move combo of Thunderbolt + Energy Ball, while Araquanid is an alternative due to its decent bulk and ability to ease the Fire-type matchup thanks to Water Bubble, while also being able to reliably hit Gliscor. Foretress is a great defensive option to take hits from Ogerpon-C and Iron Boulder, as well as set and remove entry hazards via Spikes, Stealth Rock, and Rapid Spin.

Wild Charge is an option to threaten Gyarados and Pelipper for super-effective damage, while Flare Blitz is another alternative for Sinistcha, Air Balloon Gholdengo, and Foretress, but it usually isn't worth giving up Earthquake for one of these coverage moves. Both moves also provide a drawback of recoil, and along with Life Orb recoil, really hurts Slither Wing's ability to clean up weakened teams. U-turn can provide Slither Wing with pivoting to safely escape from switch ins like Gliscor and Gyarados, but it forces Slither Wing to sacrifice longevity or a coverage move, making it difficult to fit. Leech Life is a final alternative for reliable Bug-type STAB, while also providing a form of recovery, although the recvery is too subtle and First Impression is used more often.

Slither Wing is a potent physical attacker thanks to its wide coverage and ability to deal with Fire-type and Rock-type teams, as well as force out fast offensive threats like Meowscarada, Ogerpon-C and Iron Boulder. Close Combat nails Kingambit, Archaludon, Ting-Lu, and Air Balloon Heatran, while also forcing the 2HKO on Porygon2 and Articuno. First Impression gives Slither Wing the jump on faster threats like Ogerpon-C, Iron Bouler, and Chien-PaoDeoxys-S due to priority. Morning Sun provides Slither Wing with a form of longevity, and Earthquake hits switch-ins to Slither Wing like Gholdengo, Ceruledge, Sneasler, and Toxapex Iron Hands.(Sneasler not actively switching in and hands you can just cc it as well both are 2hkos. Pex is a better example.) Life Orb is recommended due to Slither Wing's plethora of coverage and the recoil can be counteracted by Morning Sun's recovery.

Slither Wing hates Flying-types like Braviary, Zapdos, and Landorus, as Slither Wing cannot hit them meaningfully and is forced out by them, so Pokemon like Scizor and Forretress are recommended. Scizor is also an excellent defensive pivot and hazard remover, allowing Slither Wing to switch in safely. (Both Scizor and Forretrees does not want to deal with Zap and friends. Scizor does not have access to Defog. Also Scizor is more of a wallbreaker/Set up Sweeper this metagame. Kleavor loves dealing with them) Slither Wing also has a middling speed tier, so Sticky Web from the likes of Ribombee, Araquanid, and Galvantula are beneficial. Slither Wing also despises Fire-types like Cinderace, Talonflame, and Ogerpon-H. Therefore, Pokemon like Volcarona and Kleavor are benefical. Kleavor also gives a form of entry hazards, which help Slither Wing clean up the opposing team. Frosmoth is also a good teammate, as it appreciates Slither Wing's ability to switch into Rock-type attacks from Pokemon like Ogerpon-C and Terrakion. In return, Frosmoth can deal with Great Tusk, Flutter Mane lacking Mystical Fire or Power Gem, and Latios thanks to Ice Scales.
(Overall just redo the second paragraph feels very out of order. Start with Offensive teammates first then Defensive options. Kleavor, Scizor, Volcarona, Frosmoth, Lokix, Ribombee/Galvantula/Araquanid, and Forretrees.)
  • Notes to help out: Scarf Kleavor good pivot, deals with flying and fire threats, while also setting up Stealth Rock with Stone Axe.
  • SD Scizor handles pesky Fairies for Slither Wing like Flutter Mane and Scarf Enamorus with Bullet Punch
  • Volc and Fros are nice setup sweepers handling plethora of foes with coverage moves
  • Ribombee, galvantula, and Araquanid all provide sticky web yes but all has their different place. Rib speedy setter while also threatening dragon types. Also can spread paralysis with stun spore. Galvantula provides webs but pressure water and ground with Thunder+E ball Araquanid nice Bulky mon that sets Sticky Web and provides breathing room in the fire matchup due to water bubble.
  • Forretrees good physical wall to tank hits, remove hazards with rapid spin, and also set hazards.

Gyarados and Pelipper are nice targets.), while Flare Blitz is another alternative for Sinistcha, Frosslass, and ForretreesScizor, while also not missing out on hitting Articuno, Corviknight, and Skarmory, but it usually isn't worth giving up Earthquake for one of these coverage moves. (Mention recoil dmg as well since stacking life orb and recoil chip is sad for Slither wing ;w;)

Slither Wing is a potent physical attacker thanks to its wide coverage and ability to deal with Fire-type and Rock-type teams (not really for fire and rock, more on First Imp + access to recovery and general bulk is pretty neat), as well as force out fast offensive threats like Meowscarada, Ogerpon-C and Iron Boulder (why? Mention First impression here. Can swap cc/first impression lines so that it flows better). Close Combat nails Kingambit, Archaludon, Ting-Lu, and Air Balloon Heatran, while also forcing the 2HKO on Porygon2 and Articuno (its latent bulk also lets it not get killed by max stack +2 Gambit. Its also strong enough to force a 2hko on skarm). First Impression gives Slither Wing the jump on faster threats like Ogerpon-C, Iron Boulder, and Chien-Pao. Morning Sun provides Slither Wing with a form of longevity, and Earthquake hits switch ins to Slither Wing like Gholdengo, Ceruledge (cerul is a poor example since on ghost thats what you'd use anyway. Its strong enough to force a 2hko on Skele though, something that usually bullies Bug), and Toxapex. Life Orb is recommended due to Slither Wing's plethora of coverage and the recoil can be counteracted by Morning Sun's recovery.

Choice Scarf Kleavor is one of the best teammates for Slither Wing, as it can deal with Flying- and Fire-types like Tornadus-T, Talonflame, and Ogerpon-H with Stone Axe, as well as setting Stealth Rock in the process (with sr, Skarm always gets 2HKO'ed now). Kleavor also has pivoting in U-turn, allowing Slither Wing to switch in safely. Swords Dance Scizor is another amazing teammate, as its raw power and priority in Bullet Punch can deal with Fairy-types like Flutter Mane and Enamorus. Volcarona and Frosmoth are good partners due to being able to meaningfully deal Pokemon like Corviknight (corv not a problem for the slither wing, gliscor is tho), Great Tusk, Galarian Weezing, and Amoongus. In return Slither Wing can deal with Tyranitar (irrelevant these days, can use Clodsire if you want), Blissey, Heatran, and Hisuian Goodra. Slither Wing has a middling speed tier, so Sticky Web setters like Ribombee, Galvantula, and Araquanid are recommended. Ribombee is the fastest out of the three, as well as being able to deal with Dragon-types like unboosted Roaring Moon (RM is usually scarfed and Kommy isnt really seen in mono that much. Maybe different dragons would be better?) and Kommo-O with Moonblast. It can also spread paralysis via Stun Spore. Galvantula can pressure Ground- and Water-types like Toxapex, Great Tusk, and Gliscor (galvan walled by glisc because no HP Ice) thanks to its move combo of Thunderbolt + Energy Ball, while Araquanid is an alternative due to its decent bulk and ability to ease the Fire-type matchup thanks to Water Bubble. Lokix deals with Psychic- and Ghost-types such as Indeedee, Slowbro, and Spectrier thanks to its Psychic-type immunity and Dark-type STAB. (lokix isnt a team mate anymore since slither compresses the First Impression role lokix has with its typing that makes SW not vulnerable to sucker) Foretress is a great defensive option to take hits from Ogerpon-C and Iron Boulder, as well as set and remove entry hazards via Spikes, Stealth Rock, and Rapid Spin.

Wild Charge is an option to threaten Gyarados and Pelipper for super-effective damage, while Flare Blitz is another alternative for Sinistcha, Frosslass, and Foretress (the recoil is bad, froslass has wisp, and you take less damage from 2 CCs on Forre instead. Dealing with Balloon Gholdengo can be cool tho ), but it usually isn't worth giving up Earthquake for one of these coverage moves. Both moves also provide a drawback of recoil, and along with Life Orb recoil, really hurts Slither Wing's ability to clean up weakened teams.(add u-turn and leech life)
