Slowbro is one of the best defensive pivots in the metagame due to its amazing physical bulk, Regenerator, and access to Teleport, allowing it to effectively check some of the metagame's most prominent threats such as Garchomp, Gliscor, Landorus-T, Cinderace, Excadrill, and Mega Lopunny. Future Sight allows Slowbro to create guaranteed advantageous situations for its team by providing a powerful delayed hit. This enables wallbreaking teammates to make more progress due to Future Sight by either discouraging their checks from switching in or letting them break through their checks anyway if these checks do switch in. Alternatively, Ice Beam allows Slowbro to force out Garchomp, Gliscor, and Landorus-T while also threatening Pokemon not too bothered by Scald such as Hydreigon, Zapdos, and Tangrowth. Thunder Wave is another option, allowing Slowbro to provide valuable support to slower wallbreakers such as Mega Mawile and Mega Medicham. Teleport allows Slowbro to use Pokemon that don't threaten it much, such as Mega Lopunny and Gliscor, for momentum, letting it bring in a check or a revenge killer for those Pokemon. Heavy-Duty Boots is the preferred item, as it strengthens Slowbro's niche as a pivot and maximizes the effectiveness of Regenerator by negating entry hazard damage. Rocky Helmet is an alternative option to punish U-turn users such as Mega Lopunny and Cinderace. Slowbronite can be used for significantly improved physical bulk and Special Attack; however, Slowbro loses Regenerator after Mega Evolving, making it a less effective defensive pivot.

Slowbro mainly fits on bulky offense and balance teams, on which it can act as an amazing defensive pivot for teams that are weak to threats like Mega Lopunny, Cinderace, Gliscor, and Garchomp. On bulky offense teams, Blissey has great defensive synergy with Slowbro, covering up Slowbro's weaker Special Defense stat by checking the most dangerous special attackers in Hydreigon, Kyurem, Magearna, and Volcarona. Moreover, with access to Teleport, Blissey also forms a strong pivoting core with Slowbro. On more balanced teams, other specially defensive Pokemon such as Heatran, Clefable, and Tapu Fini can provide similar support. Wallbreakers highly benefit from Slowbro's presence, as they appreciate the momentum it can bring to teams with Teleport. Mega Mawile, Cinderace, Mega Medicham, Kyurem, and Hydreigon are great examples of Pokemon that benefit from Slowbro's support. If running Future Sight, Pokemon that appreciate the likes of Toxapex, Tangrowth, Zapdos, and Clefable being pressured are great teammates as well. Examples of such Pokemon include Weavile, Cinderace, Mega Lopunny, Kartana, and Mega Charizard Y.

Slowbro is one of the best defensive pivots in the metagame due to its amazing physical bulk, and access to Teleport, Talk about its ability to punish them with burns or just flat knock them out here too. allowing it to effectively check some of the metagame's most prominent threats such as Garchomp, Gliscor, Landorus-T, Cinderace, and Mega Lopunny. Scald is recommended STAB on Slowbro as it can threaten Pokemon such as Mega Scizor, Mega Mawile and Weavile with a burn, making it harder to switch into. Ice Beam allows Slowbro to beat Pokemon such as the aforementioned Garchomp, Gliscor and Landorus-T while also threatening Pokemon that are not too bothered by Scald such as Zapdos and Tangrowth. Teleport allows Slowbro to use Pokemon that don't threaten it much such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Medicham for momentum, allowing it to bring in a check to those Pokemon. Slowbronite can be used over Leftovers for significantly improved physical bulk and Special Attack, however, Slowbro loses Regenerator in the process, making it a less effective defensive pivot. Definitely talk about how Slowbronite variants should not mega evolve until Regenerator is deemed unneeded or they specifically need the extra bulk for some matchup or another. Also you need to mention why Regenerator and Leftovers are good as well, they might seem self explanatory but they do need to be mentioned. Also give Rocky Helmet a small nod to punish U-turns from Mega Lopunny, Cinderace, and Lando-T.

Slowbro mainly fits on bulky offense and balance teams, which it can act as an amazing defensive backbone against teams that are weak to threats like Heatran without Toxic, Mega Lopunny and Mega Medicham. Assault Vest Tangrowth forms great defensive synergy with Slowbro, not only because both Slowbro and Tangrowth are able to cover up each others weaknesses, but also the fact that they are able to form a Regenerator core that can deal with a vast array of threats. There are a few other specially defensive options that are also excellent partners for slowbro. Things like Heatran, for example. Mention a few of those as well, especially since AV Tang has some competition in its role at the moment. This would also be a good time to mention some special attackers that can bust through Slowbro. Entry hazards can make Slowbro less effective as a defensive pivot as it is to more susceptible to offensive pressure, so entry hazard removers such as Zapdos, Corviknight, and Excadrill make for great partners. Offensive wallbreakers highly benefit from Slowbro's presence, as they appreciate the momentum Slowbro can bring to teams with Teleport. Mega Mawile, Cinderace, and Hydreigon. Finish this thought please.

-The QC team agreed on Future Sight and Heavy-Duty Boots being the more common and better options, with Ice Beam and Rocky Helmet having tangible niches as well. Heavy-Duty Boots is generally better suited to Slowbro's objective than Leftovers, and we also felt that Slowbronite isn't common enough to warrant a slash-

Slowbro is one of the best defensive pivots in the metagame due to its amazing physical bulk, Regenerator(AC), and access to Teleport, allowing it to effectively check some of the metagame's most prominent threats such as Garchomp, Gliscor, Landorus-T, Cinderace, Excadrill, and Mega Lopunny. Future Sight allows Slowbro to create win-win situations for its team by providing a delayed hard hit. This enables wallbreaking teammates to make more progress due to either Future Sight either (need to keep subject intact for second clause) discouraging their checks from switching in, or letting said wallbreakers break through their checks anyway if these checks do switch in. Alternatively, Ice Beam allows Slowbro to force out Garchomp, Gliscor(AC), and Landorus-T while also threatening Pokemon that are not too bothered by Scald such as Hydreigon, Zapdos(AC), and Tangrowth. Thunder Wave is another option, allowing Slowbro to provide valuable support to slower wallbreakers such as Mega Mawile and Mega Medicham. Teleport allows Slowbro to use Pokemon that don't threaten it much(AC), such as Mega Lopunny and Gliscor(AC), for momentum, allowing it to letting it (subjective - repetitive phrasing) bring in a check or a revenge killer to for those Pokemon. Slowbronite can be used for significantly improved physical bulk and Special Attack(RCS); however, Slowbro loses Regenerator in the process, after Mega Evolving, (because it doesn't lose it in the process of equipping the item, so you can still use Regen if you don't hit the button) making it a less effective defensive pivot.

Slowbro mainly fits on bulky offense and balance teams, in on (subjective - continuity with "fits on") which it can act as an amazing defensive pivot against for (it helps check these threats, not exploit teams weak to them, I assume) teams that are weak to threats like Mega Lopunny, Cinderace, Gliscor, and Garchomp. On bulky offense teams, Blissey forms has great defensive synergy with Slowbro, covering up Slowbro's weaker Special Defense stat by checking the most dangerous special attackers in Hydreigon, Kyurem, Magearna, and Volcarona. Examples include Pokemon such as of such Pokemon include (redundancy) Weavile, Cinderace, Mega Lopunny, Kartana, and Mega Charizard Y.
