- enough physical bulk to stop Donphan, Hitmontop, Scarf Mamoswine, LO Arcanine without Wild Charge
- STAB moves are so cool
- Flamethrower is for Abomasnow
- Slack Off does something but I forgot what
- Thunder Wave makes sweepers almost as slow as the king
- Toxic gets me drunk

I can't tell if you're being saracstic about whether or not Slowking is good or not. You should make this a bit more obvious. If you're being serious, then why are you posting an analysis? If you're being sarcastic, then explain why Slowking should be used in the first place. It's a more specially defensive clone of slowbro. So what?

The trick room set should be more focused on Nasty Plot, IMO. Slowking has the highest SpA of all TR users with Nasty Plot, bar Beeheeyem (I think) and has far more bulk than the latter. Yes, TR is pretty bad, but if you're adding the set... At the very least, it's not something slowbro can do.

Slowking is a really mediocre tank in UU. He's good against Hail since he can absorb Blizzards and doesn't really care about residual damage, but other than that there is very very little that he can check and Slowbro can't. Virtually every special attacker has a powerful super effective attack that 2HKOes him even with a 252/252 Calm spread, or they can run a physical set that shits all over him even with Defense investment. In OU he's got a better niche as a Draco Meteor absorber that resists most Dragons' coverage moves, but in UU he's very limited. I wouldn't have been too surprised if QC rejected this tbh. That's partly why I didn't spend much effort on the skeleton.

I'll make a bigger mention of NP on the Trick Room set when the writeup comes.
 
I'm of the opinion that this is a case where even though Slowking is incomparable to Slowbro in usefulness, Slowking is just "too good" of a Poke to not get an analysis.

Plus Trick Room + Nasty Plot is p. awesome

Why is the skeleton so biased towards Slowking? He is perfectly usable, just specially defensive unlike Slowbro and can actually hit back hard unlike Chansey.

but in UU, the things that Slowking pops in on can kill him with a coverage move: Froslass shits over him with Shadow Ball, Abomasnow can Wood Hammer or Giga Drain, Zapdos lols at him, Mismagius lols more at him, and Houndoom can use Sucker Punch to dent him...

Point taken, but Slowbro has the same problem and he doesn't get belittled.

You're overestimating Froslass. With the above EVs, Froslass only 3HKOes Slowking with a Timid nature and 252 SpA EVs (36.5%-43.1%).
 
I think Dragon Tail should be an option on the main set. (4th moveslot, 1st slash), its one of the biggest boons it has over Slowbro and phasing is always useful. I remember a fair amount of Slowking users (ballabrown24, Delta) using Dragon Tail, so I think its a strong move.
