[OVERVIEW]

Slowking is one of the best Pokemon for bulky offensive teams, as it can check Fighting- and Ground-types while still having respectable offensive presence thanks to its good Special Attack. Slowking's solid 95 / 80 / 110 bulk, combined with reliable recovery in Slack Off and Regenerator, ensures it will be around for a long time. Its good all-around base stats and excellent movepool let it run offensive and defensive sets equally as well. Its typing is nice too, granting it useful resistances to Fire, Fighting, Ice, and Water.

However, Slowking's typing also gives it five bad weaknesses to Grass, Electric, Dark, Ghost, and Bug, with weaknesses to Knock Off and Pursuit being especially notable. Base 30 Speed is also pitiful, meaning Slowking will often have to rely on sponge-and-hit tactics.

[SET]
name: Calm Mind
move 1: Scald
move 2: Slack Off
move 3: Calm Mind
move 4: Psyshock / Thunder Wave
item: Leftovers / Colbur Berry
ability: Regenerator
nature: Bold
evs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
=======

Scald has a 30% chance to burn the foe, and Slack Off is used to recover HP. Calm Mind is used to boost Slowking's Special Attack and Special Defense, letting it sweep. Psyshock is an alternate STAB move and helps in winning Calm Mind wars. Thunder Wave can be used instead to cripple faster frail attackers like Absol on the switch in.

Set Details
=======

The EVs maximize Slowking's physical bulk, since Calm Mind boosts Special Attack and Special Defense, so they don't need investment. A spread of 248 HP / 224 Def / 24 SpA with Psychic in place of Psyshock can be run instead if you wish to beat Bulk Up Gurdurr. The remaining EVs are placed in Speed to outrun opposing uninvested base 30s. Leftovers provides Slowking with a form of recovery. A Colbur Berry can be used to endure a Knock Off. Leftovers makes Slowking more adept in checking the likes of Emboar and Medicham, while Colbur Berry helps deal with Pokemon with Dark-type coverage such as Hitmonlee and Sawk. It also makes Slowking less susceptible to Pursuit. Regenerator keeps Slowking healthy until it's ready to start boosting.

Usage Tips
=======

Unlike other boosting sweepers, Slowking should be played as a defensive tank early- and mid-game. Then, when your opponent's team has been weakened, Slowking can boost and try to a sweep. Avoid setting up while Slowking's counters, like Jellicent and Rotom-C, are still standing. Be wary of status, as Slowking has no means of curing itself. This set is best used on bulky offense teams as a check to Fighting-types that still has offensive presence.

Team Options
=======

Clerics like Aromatisse and Diancie are appreciated, as poison and burns will worsen Slowking's ability to check opposing Fighting-types. They can both also check Dark-types for Slowking. Specially defensive Druddigon can take the Grass- and Electric-type moves Slowking draws in, while Slowking can take the Ice-type moves Druddigon attracts. Pokemon like Scrafty and Mega Glalie that appreciate having a check to Fighting-types pair well with this set. Registeel appreciates having a teammate that can switch into the Fighting- and Fire-type moves it is weak to. It can also set up Stealth Rock and switch in on Grass- and Bug-type moves for Slowking. Mega Camerupt can also wall most Electric-types and set up Stealth Rock for Slowking. Escavalier can switch in on the Grass-type moves Slowking is weak to (even Sleep Powder courtesy of Overcoat), while Slowking can switch in on the Fire-type moves Escavalier fears.

[SET]
name: Assault Vest
move 1: Scald
move 2: Future Sight
move 3: Fire Blast
move 4: Dragon Tail
item: Assault Vest
ability: Regenerator
nature: Modest
evs: 248 HP / 92 Def / 168 SpA

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Scald hits decently hard and has a good chance to burn. Future Sight hits extremely hard and helps Slowking force switches. Fire Blast toasts bulky Grass- and Steel-types. Dragon Tail is used to phaze foes and prevents Slowking from becoming setup fodder. It can also prevent your opponent from switching to a Dark-type to tank Future Sight if used at the right time. Grass Knot can also be used to hit opposing Slowking as well as Seismitoad and Gastrodon.

Set Details
=======

248 HP EVs give Slowking good overall bulk while also giving it a HP stat divisible by 3, thus maximizing the recovery gained through Regenerator. 92 Defense EVs let Slowking survive Fletchling's Acrobatics after Stealth Rock and OHKO with Scald. The remaining EVs are placed in Special Attack for more firepower. An Assault Vest gives Slowking amazing special bulk, making it virtually impossible to OHKO with special attacks. Regenerator provides Slowking with a form of recovery that many Assault Vest users lack.

Usage Tips
=======

This set is best used as a special tank, so pivot Slowking into special attackers that it can wall like special Flygon and Meloetta. Scald is generally the go-to move, as its high chance to burn can cripple many of the physical attackers Slowking draws in. This set is more susceptible to Pursuit due to its lower physical bulk, so be wary of physically inclined Dark-types like Absol and Spiritomb.

Team Options
=======

Slowking can form a good Regenerator core with Tangrowth, with both Pokemon covering each other's checks and counters. Pokemon with low Special Defense like Tangrowth and Rhyperior enjoy having this set around, as it can take many of the special moves they draw in. Fighting- and Fairy-types like Virizion and Granbull are also good teammates, as they can check the Dark-types Slowking lures. They can also force out the Dark-types that might try to tank a Future Sight. Registeel and Rhyperior can set up Stealth Rock for Slowking; they can switch in on the Electric-type moves Slowking is weak to, with the former also being able to tank Grass- and Bug-type attacks that Slowking fears. In turn, Slowking can switch in on the Fighting- and, in Rhyperior's case, Water-type moves they are weak to. Escavalier can beat Venusaur and Tangrowth that lack Hidden Power Fire due to its 4x Grass resistance and Overcoat, making it immune to Sleep Powder.

[SET]
name: Offensive Trick Room
move 1: Scald
move 2: Psychic / Psyshock
move 3: Trick Room
move 4: Fire Blast / Nasty Plot
item: Life Orb / Leftovers
ability: Regenerator
nature: Quiet
evs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpA
ivs: 0 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
=======

Trick Room turns Slowking's poor Speed into a strength, letting it strike before anything not using a priority move. Scald lets Slowking perform its role as a tank before setting up Trick Room. Psychic is the alternate STAB move, dealing heavy damage to physical walls like Golbat and Alomomola, though Psyshock can be used to OHKO Virizion. Fire Blast gets great coverage with Slowking's STAB moves, OHKOing Assault Vest Escavalier and Tangrowth that lack Assault Vest. However, if you don't need the coverage, Nasty Plot can be used to boost Slowking's Special Attack to massive levels. Grass Knot can also be used to hit opposing Slowking as well as Seismitoad and Gastrodon.

Set Details
=======

The given EVs maximize Slowking's HP to give Slowking good bulk, with Special Attack maximized to do as much damage as possible. The rest of the EVs are put in Defense to cushion Slowking slightly from priority moves. A Quiet nature and 0 Speed IVs are used to make Slowking as slow as possible. A Life Orb is used as the item to give Slowking as much power as it can get. However, Leftovers should be used if running Nasty Plot, as it can make setting up easier. If Slowking is forced out, Regenerator heals a good chunk of health, possibly giving it another chance to sweep.

Usage Tips
=======

This set is best used as a late-game sweeper, so ideally, don't send Slowking in until your opponent's walls have been weakened or removed. You use this set much like any other sweeper: come in on something Slowking forces out, like a Choice-locked Fighting-type locked into their STAB move or a defensive Poison-type (watch out for Sleep Powder from Venusaur, though), use Trick Room, and KO as many Pokemon as you can. While Slowking isn't frail, this it shouldn't be used to sponge hits, as it doesn't have Defense or Special Defense investment.

Team Options
=======

As with any sweeper, strong wallbreakers like Choice Specs Exploud and Choice Band Rhyperior make for good teammates to soften up the opponent's team. Entry hazards are always appreciated. Rhyperior and Druddigon can both set up Stealth Rock for Slowking to help it get KOs more easily. Additionally, they can both switch into the Electric-type moves Slowking is weak to, while Slowking in return can switch into the Water- and Fighting-type moves Rhyperior is vulnerable to and the Ice-type moves Druddigon should be wary of. Escavalier can take out most of the Grass-types Slowking fears, and due to its base 20 Speed it can take advantage of Trick Room well too. Mega Camerupt walls most Electric-types and can also utilize Trick Room.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A purely defensive set using Thunder Wave or Toxic can be used. It can be a physical, special, or mixed wall. Slowking can wield Choice Specs, although that does make it very susceptible to Pursuit. Signal Beam can be used to hit Malamar, offensive Tangrowth, and opposing Slowking. Ice Beam and Shadow Ball are other coverage moves Slowking can run, although their targets are rather niche.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Special Walls**: Jellicent is immune to Scald thanks to Water Absorb and can cripple Slowking with Taunt. Registeel is only 3HKOed by a Life Orb-boosted Fire Blast and can stall Slowking out with Toxic. Alomomola can cripple Slowking with Toxic and stall it out with Wish and Protect.

**Dark-types**: Absol can often OHKO non-Colbur Berry versions of Slowking with a Life Orb-boosted Knock Off, and it can smash Trick Room Slowking with Sucker Punch. It can also survive a +1 Scald. Scrafty can set up a Dragon Dance in Slowking's face and OHKO non-Colbur Berry versions with a +1 Knock Off. If it's running Shed Skin, even Scald burns might not hamper it. Lum Berry Drapion can set up on Slowking and OHKO it with a +2 Knock Off if Slowking lacks Colbur Berry.

**Grass-types**: Choice Specs Rotom-C outruns Slowking and OHKOes the Assault Vest set with Leaf Storm after a little prior damage. Life Orb Tangrowth and Venusaur can do much the same and can prevent Slowking setting up with Sleep Powder. Swords Dance Virizion can endure an unboosted Psychic and OHKO with a +2 Leaf Blade. However, they all take major damage from Fire Blast, and in Venusaur and Virizion's case, Psychic or Psyshock.

**Electric-types**: Choice Specs Magneton, Life Orb Manectric, and Life Orb Jolteon outrun and 2HKO Slowking with Thunderbolt. However, Magneton is OHKOed by Fire Blast and Jolteon and Manectric are both 2HKOed by Psyshock.

not QC but just gonna throw coins to the well:

TBH Calm Mind Slowking is perhaps its best set and should probably be the first to be mentioned which could go CM / Scald / Psyshock / Slack Off. If there's gonna be a defensive set you should prolly also slash Colbur Berry on it too.

idt Trick Room should be that deserving of its own set seeing as it is a poor playstyle in general, and should probably be replaced by a nasty plot set. Something in the lines Of NP / Scald / Psyshock / some coverage and tr with pretty much the same evs and but max speed IVs and modest nature.

Pursuit Trappers (surprised you only mention it once too) should prolly get a spot on Checks and Counters seeing as they really force King to switch in n out a lot more carefully as it risks gettin some heavy chip due to its Dark weakness and. Good examples of these would include Absol and Spiritomb. On that note emphazising its weakness to pursuit and knock off on overview would be nice.

Alright, let's see if we can dig into this. Before I go into the analysis itself, this set needs to be added:

name: Calm Mind
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Scald
move 3: Psyshock / Fire Blast
move 4: Slack Off
item: Colbur Berry / Leftovers
ability: Regenerator
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA

I'm not overly familiar with using this just due to my preferred playstyle so there may be a better EV spread, but it is the best Slowking set atm. It gives the defensive utility you need out of Slowking early and mid-game and then can sweep late-game once checks and counters are worn down or gone. Colbur Berry is a near necessity so Slowking doesn't get put in an awful situation early-game when its checking offensive threats. Fire Blast is basically there if you want to stick it to Escavalier. On to the rest of the analysis:

[Overview]

- Stress the weakness to Knock Off and Pursuit. It's one of the biggest reasons Slowking isn't the A+ / S rank threat it was in XY
- Note its access to Calm Mind, Nasty Plot, and Trick Rom somewhere in here

[Defensive]

- I'd just remove this. The Calm Mind set given above does everything this set does defensively, but can also sweep at the cost of not having a status move

Remove Assault Vest. Its a relic from XY for Moltres and Slowking honestly does good enough vs. Delphox without the AV boost

[Trick Room Sweeper]

- Slash Colbur Berry. Any non-Specs set should heavily consider it due to the prominence of Dark moves
- Scald is honestly still better than Surf. It allows you to play Slowking like an offensive tank early-game due tot he 30% burn chance
- Mention Psyshock somewhere as it guarantees the OHKO on Virizion w/o a boost and 2HKOes Eelektross with Life Orb
- Maybe give Slack Off a moves mention
- Renaming it Offensive Trick Room is probably best as well since short terminology for this set is usually OTR
- Focus a bit more on it being a standalone sweeper as full TR teams aren't amazing in RU
- In Usage Tips, note that Slowking can be used as more of an offensive tank early-game, especially if it chooses to run Colbur Berry
- Replace Mega Camerupt in the SR point with Rhyperior. Mega Camel is kind of wasted as a SR user
- Teammates that can use TR if Slowking goes down or is too weak to use TR itself late-game. Mega Camerupt, Escavalier, Emboar, and Diancie are notable options. Emboar is especially useful for taking on Escavalier and Spiritomb reliably well. Don't load up on these though. TR isn't an amazing playstyle in RU.

[Choice Specs]

- Rename Special Attacker to Choice Specs and remove Life Orb entirely.
- Remove Slack Off since Life Orb shouldn't be slashed
- Needs Speed EVs. 84 is generally the minimum to go for in order to outspeed Rhyperior along with Tomb and Escavalier. Move it from HP
- Note that Grass Knot is also Slowking's best way to wear down opposing Slowking
- Note it can also be used as an offensive tank for balance teams
- Can't switch into resisted moves nearly as reliably, so be sure to mention that.
- Choice Scarf Emboar is a nice partner for this set. Takes advantages of the holes created by Slowking and reliably checks Spiritomb and Escavalier
- Garbodor is nice for (Toxic) Spikes to capitalize on the switches this set forces and it can check Hitmonlee and Grass-types that can threaten Slowking after it gets a KO

[Other Options]

- Formatting is off a little. [STRATEGY COMMENTS] should be above Other Options
- Remove Psyshock from here or re-word it a bit since it should be slashed on OTR.
- Put Assault Vest here
- Fully Defensive can probably go here as well or as the final set if other QC members want it

[Checks and Counters]

- Dark-type moves need their own section. In particular, Spiritomb, Escavalier, and Absol cause Slowking a ton of grief between Pursuit, Sucker Punch in the case of Spiritomb and Absol, and Megahorn in the case of Escavalier. Absol and Escavalier also have Knock off. Spiritomb sometimes runs Taunt, which will stop the Calm Mind set cold. Note that Dark-type attackers need to be careful around Colbur Berry Slowking
- SpDef Drapion isn't much of a thing in the current meta and it most certainly doesn't get Dragon Tail. Replace Dragon Tail with Whirlwind if you want to keep Drap here. Registeel needs to be careful of Scald burns, as does Drapion
- Replace Rotom-C with Manectric and / or Venusaur. They're much more common and useful in the current meta than Rotom-C is.

Set Order should be:

Calm Mind > Choice Specs > Offensive Trick Room > Defensive (if it stays as a full set)

I went and did my calcs; Calm Mind Slowking needs 60 Special Attack EVs at +1 to OHKO Assault Vest Escavalier with Fire Blast.

+1 60 SpA Slowking Fire Blast vs. 174 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Escavalier: 324-384 (100 - 118.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

However, it should be noted that Escavalier tends to run enough speed to outrun members of the base 30 speed tier, which Slowking is a member of. Since we cannot actually speed creep, all we can do is run speed for Slowking to outrun a minimal base speed tier: mention 84 speed EVs on the Calm Mind set to outrun minimum speed Rhyperior to hit it with Scald before Rhyperior can hammer it with Megahorn. It should be noted though that Slowking will need to be at +1 to OHKO Specially Defensive Rhyperior:

+1 0 SpA Slowking Scald vs. 248 HP / 244 SpD Solid Rock Rhyperior: 441-522 (101.8 - 120.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

If you do mention 84 Speed EVs, I did my calcs and found that 172 HP / 252 Def has more physical bulk than 252 HP / 172 Def, just as a small note.

I went and did my calcs; Calm Mind Slowking needs 60 Special Attack EVs at +1 to OHKO Assault Vest Escavalier with Fire Blast.

+1 60 SpA Slowking Fire Blast vs. 174 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Escavalier: 324-384 (100 - 118.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
By the way, the analysis's AV Escavalier spread lists 248 HP (the uneven 174 HP EVs on the calc's spread already tipped it off as being an outdated / unofficial spread; look at RU Charizard's wacky EV spread as an example). If you still want to net the OHKO on AV Esca:

+1 124 SpA Slowking Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Escavalier: 344-408 (100.2 - 118.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

You'd want a lot more SpA EVs. I mean Slowking can probably afford this, but Idk if this would be listed on the main spread.

I've changed the description for Calm Mind Slowking to "2HKOes Assault Vest Escavalier at +1", but Trick Room and Choice Specs Slowking still OHKO 248/0 Escavalier:

252+ SpA Life Orb Slowking Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Escavalier: 369-437 (107.5 - 127.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Slowking Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Escavalier: 424-500 (123.6 - 145.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

not qc but here are some thoughts:

- Thunder Wave should be mentioned in OO as an option on a defensive set over Calm Mind.

Future Sight should definitely be on the Choice Specs set. Future Sight Specs Slowking + a Fighting-type like Virizion / Hitmonlee / Medicham is pretty much going to guarantee a kill even if you don't predict right, and it forces the opponent to send out a Pokemon that can tank the really strong Future Sight which you can easily take advantage of. I would say it's better than Trick / Grass Knot but I could see why people might disagree.

- Mention that Psychic is risky to lock yourself into bc thats just an invitation for a Dark-type Pokemon to Pursuit you.
- I think Avest is still an ok set that should be on the analysis but its mention in OO should say it's not great is because without defense EVs, Slowking is very vulerable to Pursuit, and unlike Specs, it doesn't threat the Pursuit nearly Pokemon as hard.

also make sure to remove all mentions of durant

I think "Physically Defensive" should still be a set; it functions differently from Calm Mind, it's the most common set on the ladder, and it's actually good. Calm Mind might be better in some situations, but plenty of teams rely on Slowking as a WALL that spreads paralysis (which is really useful btw) and not specifically as a win condition. Also, if such a set were to happen, I think a specially defensive spread could be mentioned in Set Details. The point is, Slowking's movepool options and the defensive qualities it can contribute to a team are not enough to housed under the roof of "Calm Mind"; therefore, I think another set should be added.

okay, this needs to be reworked a lot.

specs should be removed, pretty niche set and isn't all that good to begin with.

cm should look like this:

calm mind
scald
slack off
psyshock / thunder wave

with leftovers / colbur slash

assault vest should be given a set

scald / fire blast / future sight / dragon tail. soft checks a lot of special attackers and the combination of future sight + dragon tail is just nasty when pulled off right.

for otr, i'd replace colbur with leftovers, makes setting up a sweep with np a lot easier.

so basically:

[SET]
name: Calm Mind
move1: Scald
move2: Slack Off
move3: Calm Mind
move4: Psyshock / Thunder Wave
item: Leftovers / Colbur Berry
ability: Regenerator

evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

[SET]
name: Assault Vest
move1: Future Sight
move2: Scald
move3: Dragon Tail
move4: Fire Blast
item: Assault Vest
ability: Regenerator
nature: Modest
evs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpA

[SET]
name: OTR

move4: Nasty Plot / Fire Blast
item: Leftovers / Life Orb

ivs: 0 Spe

Grass Knot is a good option on the last two sets and should be mentioned as such. Signal Beam can also be useful on CM in tandem with Colbur since it allows Slowking to take out Malamar, better deal with Meloetta/Abomasnow/Sneasel/opposing Slowking.

Also add the QC tag like everyone else has. I don't like QCing analyses that aren't properly formatted or improperly labeled.

There are a lot of things that need to be revised in this analysis before I can approve it.

[Overview]

This is mostly good, although it's mostly just stating the obvious. I'd say Slowking is one of the best Water-types for bulky offense since it does a lot of neat things in 1 slot (Fighting check, Ground check) while having a decent offensive presence and threat of burns / paralysis.

[Calm Mind]

First off, the CM set is more of a wall that can threaten the other team with CM boosts. I wouldn't say it's a "sweeper" persay; it's more for pressuring the opponent and putting a timer on them as they know they can't let Slowking get much CM boosts or else they lose, which leads to them making risky plays.

((I also think 24 SpA EVs Psychic is good on this set because otherwise you can't stop a Gurdurr who's Bulking Up, and you still 2HKO Virizion with Psychic just like you do with Psyshock anyways. Not sure how to implement it though, I want other QC input))

You need to be indepth in Leftovers vs Colbur Berry. Emboar and Medicham, for example, are better checked with Leftovers, while Colbur Berry allows you to be a better answer to Hitmonlee and not be as vulnerable to Pursuit / Knock Off (you can even check Sneasel with Colbur Berry).

In Team Options you say Slowking is best used on stall or balance, but I can't think of the last time Slowking was really used on stall. Alomomola is generally the bulky Water-type of choice on stall. I think Slowking shines a lot more in Bulky Offense because it's a Water-type that can also check most Fighting-types well (especially with Colbur Berry) while having a decent offensive presence. Of course, it's also decent on balance as well, but I wouldn't say CM Slowking or any Slowking is best used on stall.

You also need to mention Mega Steelix and Registeel as good partners because their typing synergizes well with Slowking and they set up rocks etc.

[Assault Vest]

This seems mostly good to me, although I don't like the FWG core mention. Slowking + Tangrowth is fine but I don't think you need to mention the Fire-type part. Also again, you want to mention Mega Steelix and Registeel here.

[Offensive Trick Room]

I don't agree that this set isn't good vs stall. Nasty Plot can put a lot of pressure on stall teams, so it's a decent wallbreaker vs stall. It's most likely not going to sweep, but it can definitely apply some pressure.

[Other Options]

Signal Beam is for Malamar, Abomasnow, and LO Tangrowth. Make that clear, as it's actually a pretty good option on Slowking, although I think it's a bit too niche for the main set.

[Checks & Counters]

This section needs a lot of revision. Houndoom shouldn't be mentioned because it can't actually OHKO Slowking, is bad vs Colbur King, and doesn't like switching into any of Slowking's moves aside from Psyshock. Pursuit Houndoom is also mediocre. SpDef Drapion shouldn't be mentioned.

Toxic Alomomola needs to be mentioned. It switches into pretty much everything of Slowking's, only minds a burn, and can stall Slowking with Wish + Protect. Nasty Plot + Psychic Slowking can get past Alomomola but not without almost dying in the process between Toxic, Wish, Protect, and LO recoil.

Dark-type section should mention Lum Berry Drapion, as that doesn't really care about the status elements Slowking can inflict and it can set up on Slowking.

Venusaur, Tangrowth, and Rotom-Mow need a mention in C&C too.

When you mention Jellicent, make sure to say it's immune to Scald burns. Also similarly, when you mention Jolteon / Rotom-Mow, mention they're immune to Thunder Wave.

Also, don't mention Tricking Choice Specs because that's not a main set anymore.

In general, I want you to be a little more indepth in most sections rather than just stating superficial facts, especially the Calm Mind, C&C, and Other Options section.

remove the 8 spe evs on cm and put into spd

for av, take 92 evs out of spa and put it into def, this allows slowking to avoid the ohko from fletchinder's +2 acrobatics after sr

so the ev spread should be 248 HP / 92 Def / 168 SpA

the last set isn't formatted correctly since you forgot the [set] tag at the top, so fix that

  • For Usage Tips regarding CM Slowking mention getting rid of its checks and counters (ex: jellicent, rotom mow) before attempting to sweep rather than simply weakening the team
  • Note for leftover variants of CM king to be more cautious of pursuit trappers
  • Diancie can also be mentioned under clerics to assist CM Slowking through checking Dark types + decently checking Electrics
  • for all sets mention how escavalier is a great partner checking grass types like Venusaur and Tang (overcoat to avoid sleep powder)
  • Escavalier pairs especially well with trick room set due to its lack of speed, also add Mega Camerupt as a viable partner for this set
