Welcome to the inaugural edition of SM Grand Slam! The Ubers, UU, RU, NU, and LC Opens will be established for the first time, commencing the competition as players will compete to be crowned as the first ever SM Grand Slam Champion!
The format starts with a regular season consisting in five separate tournaments: The SM Ubers Open, the SM UU Open, the SM RU Open, the SM NU Open, and the SM LC Open. Depending on your performance in each Open, you will be awarded points. The point system is the same as the one used in Smogon Tour, Smogon Classic and previous years of Smogon Grand Slam- see this for further explanation. When all the Opens have been finished, the eight players with the most points will qualify for playoffs. There, the battlers will duke it out in a single elimination best-of-five series until there is one SM Grand Slam champion!

- The SM RU Open - Hosted by Don Bork - December 8th
- The SM NU Open - Hosted by goldmason - December 15th
- The SM LC Open - Hosted by Zcarlett - December 22nd
If a tier shift happens to occur during a round, it will not be taken into account until the following round. Be sure to join the SM Discord server if you have any questions or wish to ask a host about a decision. More information on the tournament, standings spreadsheet, and any other logistics will be edited here and posted about in the near future -- stay tuned!
